Really nice place. The staff are really nice. I ordered the chicken souvlaki, which was fantastic. The dressing was nice! Overall good meal. Gave it four stars because they said 15 – 20 minute wait. It came out to be a 35 minute wait. No biggie. Still a really nice place, I’ll be back again.

Extremely disappointed it has taken over two hours for a lunch order. Have called twice and still have not received our food!

Honestly the best chicken rice takeout I have ever eaten in my life!!! I ordered the Rice and Chicken Plate Dinner Plate and to my delight, this meal exceeded my expectations! The chicken and rice is mixed in with grilled peppers, onions and tomatoes which is a huge change to what I’m used to eating in my chicken and rice bowls at other establishments like Chipotle. The fork came inside of the container under the bread, so if you open he take or bag and don’t immediately see a fork, don’t worry, they didn’t FORKET about the fork. The only regret I have from my order was that I didn’t order two. This is a must-taste for anyone out there that like Chicken and Rice bowls at Chipotle or Moe’s. This has been life changing and I can only hope the birth of my first child can one day measure up to the feeling I got when I opened up this takeout container!

Visited this place due to its Unilocal comments and was very pleased. Small dining area(about 6 – 8 tables), but cozy. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Food was very good. Cheeseburger and fries for myself, and my friend ordered the ham melt. He said it was very good. Looked to be a very good amount of ham and cheese. Only slight issue was that the burger was to included drink and fries, but we were charged for 2 drinks. No biggie, her tip was a bit more but she was deserving! :D

Went to the Village Grille on Wednesday with one of my girlfriends. I really liked it here. The ambience was a bit lacking, so minus one star for that(it looks like they went to garage sales and picked up every terrible tacky painting they could get their hands on). The food and service, however, were very good. I had the falafel wrap and a Greek salad. The falafel was perfectly fried and flavorful, and the wrap also had hummus on it, yum. The salad was crisp and fresh, with a nice variety of veggies: romaine, sliced carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell pepper, and feta with a pita bread. My friend had the Marwan special, which was a wrap with cheese, mushrooms and other veggies. She said it was very good. We finished nearly all of our food, which we don’t often do(«I can’t believe ate the whole thing»). The portions were generous, and there are good vegetarian options too. It seems to be a popular place for takeout as well, they were taking a lot of phone orders. Service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go here again.

We order from The Village Grille every few months for lunch in my office. I just had one of the best taco salads from there! It was soo delicious! They always do a great job accommodating us with even writing out our names on each lunch to make it a simple process. I know we will be ordering from them again in the future.

Fresh, fast, delicious. Souvlaki’s are huge, chicken wrap with saffron rice is probably one of my favorite dishes. Love it when I’m able to get to Village Grill in Williamsville.

Saw good reviews, so I decided to get a souvlaki for takeout. The chicken was really good, and the pita bread was on point! Not a huge fan of the dressing, but it wasn’t bad. I would come here again. But I still prefer another Mediterranean restaurant down the street.

Excellent authentic Greek! Finally a perfect hole in the wall spot to frequent. The owner makes all the food and there’s usually one server there. Love the hummus and souvlaki salad. The mini is too small and the regular is too large for me though. It gets busy around lunch, try to go early or late!

The greatest place for souvlaki in WNY and If you disagree then you’re a tool for the Man. The hummus is incredible and the marinade he uses for the chicken is intense. An unsung hero in WNY dining. 5FU**INGSTARS.

This is for sure the biggest hole in the wall I’ve ever seen. I passed it three times. :P I met a friend here for a soulvaki dinner a few weeks ago and it was great. There are a few tables scattered around the restaurant. The menu is merely a green sheet of paper; not presuming at all. The upkeep of TVG is decent. It seems to me to be a great stop if you’re looking for a fairly quick and good-tasting meal. I had the chicken soulvaki and my friend had the beef soulvaki. The chicken was very tender and the vegetables were fresh. I’m not a connoisseur of soulvaki but I ate it with no complaints :) The waiter that was serving us periodically checked in and was attentive to our needs the whole time. I was surprised that more people weren’t dining, but pick ups were quite frequent. I thought the dining experience was decent and was the perfect place if you’re looking for somewhere to talk without much background noise. I’ll have to come back again after trying different Greek/soulvaki places. I thought it was pretty good, but I don’t have a lot to compare it to.

Fresh and has all the greek chicken souvlaki salad necessities(besides missing the pepperonchini in the mini portion) I wouldn’t dine there but perfect for pickup. Mini portion was the perfect size for lunch. I love Buffalo Greek food!

I love trying new Greek restaurants because no hummus or souvlaki is ever quite the same. This particular village grille has pretty awful parking. It shares a lot with the restaurant next door and there are very few spots. Came in around 3 one afternoon and ordered the chicken souvlaki and a side of hummus and yogurt sauce to go. They have a few different sizes for the souvlaki. At first I asked for the mini and then one of the workers went in the back to show me the sizes to make sure that was the one that I wanted. I ended up going for the size a bit bigger than that and it was MORE than enough. I think the mini probably would have been a perfect lunch portion. I waited in the restaurant for a little while and figured my food would take 10 minutes or so, so I went for a walk down Main street to pass the time. When I came back 10 minutes later, the food still wasn’t ready but it wasn’t a big deal considering the owner made it very clear they are NOT fast food but are FRESH food. I loved that. They, like many other places I have been to lately, had no whole wheat pita. After 25 minutes or so, the food was finally ready. While I waited, the owner was sweeping up the restaurant and making sure everything was really clean. It was nice to see him taking pride in his restaurant and keeping it tidy. I felt like the inside could use a little decoration. The pictures on the wall had seen better days. Onto the food. The salad was DELICIOUS. They don’t serve their chicken souvlaki with olives which is great for me. The chicken was seasoned really well and the vegetables tasted very fresh. I took a glance at the yogurt sauce and noticed it was loaded with dill. I hate dill so I was pretty bummed out and almost didn’t taste it. HOWEVER, I decided to give it a shot and I actually loved it. The flavor was really tasty. The hummus wasn’t my favorite. SO over the top lemony I couldn’t hold myself back from making a sour face. Since this place isn’t around the corner, I likely wouldn’t come back any time soon but it is definitely one I would return to if in the area.

It’s a good thing they don’t have Darth Vader and Lex Luther working here. Otherwise they’d be the Villains Grill. And it’s a good thing that everything doesn’t taste like young calves. Otherwise it’d be the Veal-ish Grill. It’s a good thing they don’t play Pearl Jam 247. It’d be the Vedderish Grill. And it’s a good thing the employees don’t work in road construction. Or it might be Fillditch Grill. I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. There are some amazing Souvlaki places in Western NY. I can think of 15 or 20 souvlakis that I love. The dish here was not particularly delicious. The rice tasted like quick cook rice, it was very poor. The seasoning on the chicken was not really there… it just tasted like grilled chicken. And as if this wasn’t disappointing enough, the price was significantly more than the same dish would be at far better restaurants. If it wasn’t a locally owned place it would get a lower rating, but the service was decnt and it’s family owned and they mean well, so 3 will do.

Great menu options. Chicken souvlaki is fantastic. One minor«con» they do not use Heinz ketchup packets with their French fries. I recent ordered take-out and was given off-brand ketchup with my fries. Yuck. It turned an otherwise great lunch into«meh».

I love The village Grill! This is my go-to for chicken souvlaki. The mini is a perfect portion size(regular and super available too). I like to order a side of their delicious tzatziki(cucumber yogurt sauce) to dip my pita in. I have, in the past, ordered and loved their chicken finger sub as well. I just can’t seem to stray from the souvlaki sine I had it to go back or try anything else new! Service is always quick and pleasant, and food is consistent. The place is small and very casual. I’ve only dined in once or twice and usually get take-out. I’ve also heard great reviews about their catering from med reps that have used them for lunches. Prices are fair. Altogether, I think this place is fantastic and deserves every star.
