They have decent food, the new layout is nice but the ceiling is a little sketchy and there are still minor things that they clearly just didn’t finish from construction. The staff seem like they don’t care much. They walk across the restaurant as slow as possible and take their good ol time. They also aren’t too friendly. With some TLC and new wait staff who actually care, they could have something good.

Service was fine but the food was beyond disappointing. Some fake beef type meat in the soup and the 10 dollar steak Panini was nothing more than burnt steak-ums. A hair in the French fries and to top it all off the ice cubes had stuff frozen in them

Pappas has updated the place. The bar and dining room are now one place and there is no more breakfast as far as I know. Its much brighter and more inviting. The wing specials remain and its basically a drink and 10 wings for $ 6.50. I also tried a burger and was a little disappointed by the roll. It was just falling apart but still tasty. If you have ever been off put by the place previously, I would fully recommend giving it a second chance.

Review is for the bar only. Typical dive bar, very poor lighting, a weird smell and kind of run down. They have wing specials that seems to change frequently but a few months ago it was buy a beer get up to 12 wings for $.10, this time it was buy any drink get 10 wings for $ 2.50. Can’t really beat those specials. The wings are ok, nothing to write home about, on the smaller side. Good place to have a few drinks after work.

Miserable server. All food was under cooked and obviously low quality. Very disappointing, especially at $ 10 per person.

This was where my wife and I went on our first date so many years ago. I was disappointed to see how much it has changed since then. Looks like they added a bunch of huge TV’s, subtracted some seating and multiplied by dinginess. I tried to stave off the urge to leave and I ordered a couple drinks, but when the bartender told me they were all out of cranberry juice(for my wife, of course), I popped smoke and took off. I never heard of a bar that ran out of cranberry juice by 9pm on a Saturday. Isn’t like every third chick drink or really skinny guy’s drink a vodka-cran? Final thought: the outdoor patio is just ridiculous.

Don’t expect much. Food isn’t bad but it isn’t great by any means either. Portions are good but quality of food is lacking. Seems like they open up a bunch a cans or just throw stuffin the fryer. Everything is just bland.

*This review is for the bar/lounge only* I only really come here during the late evening hours for the beer and wings! Maybe some day I’ll try the dining area. The bar is basically a tiki lounge gone terribly wrong, but that’s exactly why this place is so damn awesome! It’s uniqueness, sarcastic, non-pretentious demeanor lets you know right from when you walk in the door, this is a fun place to be! There is even a fish tank mural on the ceiling right above the bar! Wings: The 10 cent wing special has changed over time, but currently it’s for a single order of wings, when two beers/drinks are purchased. This is a sweet deal and you would be hard pressed to find anything remotely close to this anywhere else in WNY. I usually go with the hot BBQ wings with a side of blue cheese. They tend to be on the greasy side, but they’re crispy and flavorful… better than your average wing. The jukebox seems to always be in high demand at this place, so the random music selections may go from MC Hammer to Guns & Roses to Toby Keith to 2Pac in a matter of minutes. There’s Big Buck Hunter in the corner, and three state of the art dart boards near the front entrance. I just noticed recently they added new higher tables with bar stools to the lounge area, instead of the large sit down table and chairs from before. Maybe to give the customers better views of the abundant TVs with various sporting events… or maybe Pappas is finally giving up on the whole tiki theme… I really hope not!

I went here with a friend because there were 4 reviews on Unilocal, all 4 stars. You must have all gone on a «good«day. Had open beef souvlaki which was nothing special at all, the beef was cubed nicely but not very tender although the Greek dressing was good. We also ordered medium wings and they came out nice n hot, crispy on the outside but oozing with grease on the inside and their medium sauce is my mild. Something was missing… oh, blue cheese, none with the wings? or carrots? or celery? There was only two other tables occupied when we were there and the 2 servers were not very attentive. I probably wont be back.

We’ve always had a good experience here. The food is typical Greek diner food and the prices are fair. The portions are generous and the wait staff is friendly. It’s also not usually very crowded. We’ve never had to wait for a table which is great because I have kids that get very annoying if they are not fed.

Pappas is your typical townie place. The restaurant: Greek-diner type menu, with fish fry 3 times a week and souvlaki next to all day breakfast and chicken finger subs. Always happy with my food in there. Definitely busy on Sunday afternoons and Friday evenings. Very inexpensive and suitable for families. The bar: Was a «tropical oasis» for about 2 weeks after they reopened from a fire, and quickly went downhill from there. But you don’t go to a place like Pappas for pristine walls and A+ service — you go for the cheap drinks and food! There’s always some sort of beer special for $ 2, and every day you can get 10¢ wings… seriously, 10¢, as long as you buy 2 beverages and your blue cheese(dine in only). In short, you’re getting 20 wings, 2 blue cheeses, and 2 beers for $ 7. Impossible to beat. 3 dart boards, buckhunter, golden tee, an internet jukebox, and about 10 tvs for your viewing pleasure. Big U-shaped bar for ease of service. A note — this bar is NOT suitable for children. Really. It’s full of townies who want to get drunk and act like idiots on the weekend. PLEASE don’t bring your children into this place. I’m always shocked when I see someone bring their baby(yes, baby!!), toddler, child, pre-teen into this place. It’s not a family place. Don’t do it.

Just an update. Freshly made real mashed potatoes that go with roast beef dinner. Very good. Not a fan of their salads or soups but their fishfry is fantastic. Can’t have everything however you can have some really tasty rice pudding. Pancakes are great. Waffles… mmmm.tasty.
