So I come to thus place often. The owner is so nice and knows customers service. They accidentally gave me the wrong to go pasta due to the busy Saturday night, but compensated it with garlic bread and my money back. I’m not even mad, just happy with the good food and service. They can turn around an error.

I would definitely recommend going here. The pizza is great and the customer service is spot on. I’m sure it’s miserable working in a pizza place, and yet they are always super nice.

Absolutely obsessed with Gino’s. Will most likely only order Italian from there from now on. Pizza is huge for the price, subs are delicious, garlic knots are a must. They are always willing to tweak an item to make it just the way you want it. The specialty rolls are always stuffed until bursting. On top of the food being fresh and delicious, the staff is fantastic. Extremely personable and quick! I’ve never felt more taken care of at a take out place before! Highly recommend.

I love the pizza here. These guys work hard and produce a good product. One of the better thin crust pizzas in Buffalo. I would love to see these guys open a bigger shop and have a larger offering of ready to go slices.

If you’re craving for that NYC pizza, you have to come to Gino’s! Aside that the pizza is the best in Buffalo, their chicken finger wrap is the best! Great service and very friendly people!

If you’re looking for NY Style pizza in the Elmwood village, this is the place… I’m a Buffalo Style kinda guy myself, but the pizza here is solid.

I’m a Brooklyn girl, I like my pizza thin, sauce herbed and straight up whole milk mozz. It’s a hard knock life for me upstate, until Gino’s opened up around the corner some time back. Best and arguably only NY style pizza in Buffalo, always a good variety of slices available, this is the only place I order from for my kids — I’m a high school teacher and teenagers are surprisingly persnickety with pizza, never had a slice left from a Gino’s sheet pizza. If I’m not shoving my face full of their pizza then I’m stopping by to buy dough(yes, they sell raw pizza dough) to make my own pizza creations and nights I am way too lazy to trek to the co-op for bread.

Meh… much better prices than all pizza places nearby, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the slice. I got a personal mushroom pizza and maybe it was just that delivery took a little too long and the pizza was on the colder side, but I wanted a bit more cheese and heat and flavors. It was a simple NYC-style pie and not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but a little underwhelming for me. On the other hand, their wings were pretty damn good and I absolutely would order their Buffalo wings again. I wasn’t aware they would charge a hefty delivery fee, so I wish they would make that clear on the phone next time because I was a bit taken aback(I guess I should have asked), but delivery fees are a bit weird to me because I still tend to tip, so it’s just confusing to have all these extra fees tacked on. Oh well, pizza is decent. I’ll update my review if I come back and have a slice inside so I can really get a better feel for it.

Just ordered their Sunday special from a menu I received a few weeks ago. That’s a few weeks ago, not months ago or last year. The ad says for an x-large pizza with one topping, 24 wings and a 2 liter for $ 26 and change. There’s no date on the menu. I called an placed my order but the worker on the phone said it’s for 20 wings not 24. I argued with the guy saying that is false advertising and he didn’t care. So I placed the order for 20 wings instead to try the pizza place. After picking up the order on time, the pizza was cold and plain, the wings were chewy and under cooked and the funny thing was he was still advertising the same menus for the same deals but will tell you that’s not what the specials are or «those are old menus». Funny because that’s considered false advertising still. I will never go to this place again. I rather pay more money for a better quality meal

If you’re looking for some good New York style pizza(which is hard to find in buffalo), this is the place to go. It’s also great if you’re looking for something to grab quick. They have a location in the main place mall and one on elmwood. I’ve only been to the location at main place and it’s always great quality and really speedy service. They have a decent variety of pizzas you can order by the slice, unlike a lot of other pizzerias where you can only get cheese and pepperoni. The pizzas are made ahead of time, then quickly reheated in the oven.

Nothing beats a good NY slice. Delicious pies and great people running the place. They’re super friendly and are always warm and welcoming. I normally rate a pizza joint by their classic cheese slice or their margherita. Gino’s does the cheese slice right. Saucy and scrumptious. Perfectly balanced cheese and spices with a good crispy crust and you have a delicious slice of heaven. This place is open late on Fridays and Saturdays so definitely go get a drunk slice of you get a chance.

I go to Gino’s pretty often just because it’s really convenient and they’re open late. They’ve never done me wrong and it’s been awesome eating there. You’re not exactly going to get a candle-light dinner, table cloth experience. But you’ll get well fed with tasty food at 2am, so why are you even complaining? That table cloth was dirty anyways and that waiter totally checked out your girlfriend and called her fat. So, screw that place Gino’s is way better.

Finally writing a review after ordering a few times. The building itself is a little hole in the wall on Elmwood but that says nothing about the food they serve. I’ve never been disappointed. It’s tasty and reasonably priced, not to mention the huge portion sizes for their pasta dishes! My advice is to try their garlic knots with the marinara sauce… they are on the appetizer menu as well as a side dish with most of the entrees.

Only went once. With all the great choices for good pizza in Buffalo I don’t go back for bad pizza so you need to be good always. Pizza was thin, mushy, cheese was not good. Basically a poor pizza, might do ok if it were in some other location competing against Pizza Hut or dominos but this is Buffalo and I don’t eat bad pizza

Ordered some Gino’s pizza on my most recent stay in Buffalo. Gino’s came highly recommended by the front desk of the hotel I was staying at and now I know why. Decided on the supreme deluxe pizza along with some garlic bread with mozzarella cheese. Delivery arrived well before the stated time and they even provided plenty of complimentary paper plates and napkins. Both the pizza and bread were perfect, just how I like it with plenty of fresh toppings and a nice crust and the garlic bread loaded with tons of cheese. I’ll be ordering again next time I’m in the area.

I took advantage of their Monday night large pizza with one topping special. It did not disappoint. I won’t say it was the best pizza ever but they will definitely become among my top choices for ordering a pie. For one, the pizza was cooked well, no burnt crust but without being soggy in the middle. The sauce may have been a little lacking is garlic or basil,(some seasoning) but overall the pie was good. The customer service was friendly both on the phone and at delivery as well — which was within the time promised. I also ordered half a chicken finger sub to test out both the fingers and their subs. The fingers were thick and mild, which I liked because that is how I ordered them. It seems that with many places, they come too crisp and soaked with overly-spicy sauce(which is why I usually choose BBQ). I ate the entire half sub so, didn’t have much room for the pizza but it will make some fine left-overs.

We ordered a large pizza with cheese pepperoni onions and green olives. It was just OK. It satisfied our hunger but to be honest I don’t think we will ever order from there again. The total came to $ 25 including delivery and tip, which it simply just wasn’t worth it. So sad, was really excited about a decent pizza place in this neighborhood after my initial review :(

Decent New York style pizza. Not the best ever but decent. Nice big slices for somewhere around $ 2.75 each. Not too saucy, not to greasy. I could stand just a little more cheese. Friendly staff.

Once Zetti’s moved out of their Elmwood location, I felt lost in a sea of mediocre pizza places. Mister Pizza is A-OK, I suppose, and Just Pizza has really gone down hill in recent years. Where to go, what to do? Some days, all I want to do is walk into a pizzeria, gaze at a bunch of different pizzas through a glass display case, and choose one glorious slice to call my own. Luckily, Gino’s came onto the pizza scene and filled that void for me. My fiancé and I often walk in and grab a slice or two for the road. So far, we haven’t had anything that we don’t like. I usually gravitate towards a simple slice of cheese pizza while he loves the Buffalo chicken and BBQ slices. We’ve also had pizzas delivered and they’re consistently good and affordable. If you like NY style pizza, this is your best bet in the Elmwood area. The dough tastes fresh, the sauce is delicious and they understand how to create the perfect cheese-to-sauce ratio. The employees are all really nice too. Truth be told, we eat pizza here more than we probably should. Added bonus: They have a check in offer. Buy two slices, get a drink for free. Woo hoo!
