Wow am I glad I finally stopped in here for lunch! I work right across the street and figured since it was National Hot Dog Day, it would be a good time to stop in. The gentlemen who served me was very friendly and accommodating. Started with a chocolate shake(gotta get a nice milkshake on a hot summer day!) and got the shack dog and bacon cheeseburger with a half order of curly fries. It was so delicious, just as good if not better than Ted’s!(Not to mention cheaper too!) I will definitely be back here for another lunch in the near future. Thanks for making such a great product!

I thought I’d try a different approach, because updates were so slow. Curt’s Stop-In Restaurant 3379 Lake Shore Rd Blasdell, NY14219‑1437(or Buffalo) (716) 826‑4131 A local directed me to Curt’s for homemade soup and ice cream milkshakes. Open year round, Curt’s is tucked away on route 5 in the Woodlawn area. From the South, just as you cross over Mile Strip Expressway(circle) and Lake Shore Road(rt 5) returns to ground level, it is directly on the right, set back slightly. A small cinder-block building that is decorated with large garish drawings of food — curly fries with eyes and a smile, a dancing burger, a happy hot dog and a frosty mug of soda. Parking lot out in front of the building. Seating inside at picnic tables or at the counter for service. A kind of 50’s, 60’s motif with 45 records, reproduction metal signs and model cars decorating the walls along with local sports memorabilia. Soft drinks are served in frosty mugs with FREE refills, that attentive servers keep filled. The standard menu choices includes hamburgers to bacon cheeseburgers, Italian sausages, fried bologna sandwiches, Salehn’s hot dogs from a regular charbroiled dog to a footlong. Add a serving of Curt’s «famous» curly fries, or sweet potato fries served with honey to fill out a meal. Daily specials, promotional tee-shirts, sensational soup(seasonal) and ice cream are staples at Curt’s. 10:30 a. m. to 8 p. m. Monday through Thursday 10:30 a. m. to 9 p. m. Friday and Saturday 11:00 a. m. to 8 p. m. Sunday Very casual and friendly, helpful service, so young and old alike, can enjoy themselves at Curt’s.
