Not a bad place to take the family to, they have a nice selection for making your own stir fry with your selection. JUSTTOLETEVERYONEKNOWTHISPLACEISN’T CLOSEDORNEVERWAS!!!

It’s about they closed. The last time I want there the food was bad and they charged a lot of money($ 18.00) for dinner per person. It was under new owners and I guess they just cut corners and were greedy. One way or other I would never go back.

CLOSED Wasn’t too bad. I always thought it was one of the better chinese buffets. Driving past it, seeing it closed was enough to make me go WUHHHH?! NOWAY! It’s just one of those places I’ve been going to for years. Prices went up, food got worse over time. Sushi bar addon was a bad idea. They just made the same crappy rolls they had before the addon. CLOSEDNOW. A new stir-fry/buffet has a sign in the window COMINGSOON.

One of my favorite lunch places. Very fresh. The only time it wasn’t great was 8:30 in the evening we went with friends. It doesn’t matter now. They are now out of business. It was really the only buffet I would go to, no other in the area was close to the quality. Sad to see it go, also Moe’s, Michael’s and Wendy’s are out of business

Yes, a few foods were missing and a few didn’t seem super fresh, but I had a great meal. A hell of a lot of tasty food for a low price, not to mention very kind service.

Very disappointing they say all you can eat crab legs then they make you beg for them food looked like it was sitting for a while, very expensive not worth it, been to better buffets for half the price, food was cold and beat down from sitting so long never again what a waste of money!!!

My first time there and it was very disappointing. The food was hardly warm. The only thing I liked was the shrimp and vegetables, the almond cookies and the white rice. My husband tried more things than me and was not impressed with anything. The sushi bar was questionable since nothing was kept cold. I should have tried the stir fry bar but honestly I just wanted to leave. We were mad to pay about 18.00 a person for this buffet. Never again!

This is a more upscale version of the basic«Chinese Buffet» — more seafood items and some more exotic options — like seaweed salad etc, but it also is more expensive, at least at dinner($ 16 weekends, excluding beverages), than those nearby. Service is efficient, if not overly friendly or warm. On a Saturday night the usual shortcomings — no crab legs of merit, some outages at the Mongolian BBQ table, but mostly well stocked. Sushi bar was a bit lame — mostly basic rolls and a few unidentified sashimi. Counterman was friendly. Overall, better than the ordinary, but certainly not gourmet.

This place gets way too much criticism for being a damn buffet. Honestly, it’s a BUFFET, people. You can’t be critical about trivial little things since they’re not a damn 5 star restaurant. What this place DOES have is this: –Satisfactory sushi bar: better than most buffets. At least the rolls have taste and aren’t completely dry or old. –Hibachi: choose your condiments and foods to have stir fried and served to you. Cooked infront of your face. Worth the money, no arguments there. –staff: They may look bored or annoyed, but they’re attentive, which is the only thing that counts in a buffet.

I’ve eaten many chinese buffets. This was the worst so far. Crab, shrimp, and sushi tastes old. Multiple dishes cold. Over priced and quality was very poor. Felt sick afterwards.

Wow. I haven’t been here in years. and I think maybe because this isn’t the place to go anymore. the things simply aren’t fresh. My dad really wanted to go… so I obliged. Big ticket items –Lobster. Good except it’s a tad too salty and they hire somebody to stand there to serve it on your plate. A bit too overcooked. –Oysters. Not fresh. don’t eat it. –Sushi. Not fresh. the fish looks discolored. –Crab. Not fresh. had to spit it out. –Crawfish. Okay. probably the best of all they had. –Clams. Pretty good. the big ones. The small ones also seemed a little unfresh. Most of their other items are standard. I liked their lo mein but not their vermecelli noodles. I loved their green beans. Broccoli was good. The other things. like the pig skin, soups, and everything else was meh… I think this place is on it’s way out. otherwise they need to get more people here to overturn the food here.

This place is horrible, I went there and found a piece of wire from the dish washing pad on my soup. I went to eat there at 8:30PM and they started taking all of the food as I was eating. The food looked old and over cooked. The staff had this, we don’t like Americans attitude and kept staring at me and my wife like they wanted us to leave. It was SOOOOOOCREAPY. This place is the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eating anywhere in the US. Food and service is equally horrible. I wouldn’t be surprised if the food they serve is really old and spoiled. This people seem to not care. The only reason this has less than 1 star is because it’s not available.

This buffet/sushi bar/“mongolian barbeque” restaurant tried to be too many things, and succeeds at a few and fails at a few. There are Chinese buffet standards; flavors can be good but some items sit out for a long time. This is always a challenge for any buffet, but it gets worse here. Then there are the crableg buzzards, waiting until a tray of their decent crab legs to be refilled. Suddenly, the crab legs are gone, usually in less than 30sec after they’re put out– and they’re reasonably good– if you can get some. I saw tables with crab parts piles nearing a foot and a half. And you think I’m kidding. The sushi bar is fun, and you can have your own rolls made from buffet-style seafood. Seafood is relatively good here; crab, mussels in bean sauce, scallops, but not much in the way of whole fish, although there are crawdads(crayfish) and shrimp. There are vegan items and a small salad bar and a small desserts bar. It’s a bit loud and noisy, and there are tables for large families and those needing mobility-challenged needs. The price, as seen elsewhere in the reviews is $ 15.95+tax without drink per person at night, and compared to others I’ve seen, this is a tad high. Cleanliness during the peak time I showed up was also not the best, and the floor in the buffet area was actually a bit slippery– which is off-putting. Summary: they need a blue light for crab leg fans, and the rest is decent, and not superlative, but certainly a reasonable variety of stuff. Oh yeah, I forgot pizza slices.

This is a 3 star, more likely a 2 star review. I found myself in the area, and being hungry and not willing to travel too far, I decided to go here after a multi-year hiatus. The food looks worse than it tastes. The way it’s put out, it looks like they mass cooked a bunch of frozen entrees or something. Fried shrimps were generous, but had little taste. Gyozas were OK. Mongolian beef was fair, General Tsao’s Chicken was only worthy of a Sargent’s ranking. There was some sushi, but it was limited in selection and what was there wasn’t too appetizing. Desserts are marginal. The server that took care of me did fine and the $ 8.50 price for all you can eat is OK. But aside from that, the more and more I write, the more I’m thinking two stars — yep, change made!

Way over-priced and the food is WAY below par for the price. Only thing that saves it from 0 stars is the stir fry and then, only barely. The meats on the stir fry table are often dry, frozen, or look wilted. The selection of veggies, noodles and sauces is much better. All other foods are average at best, oily, salty, or extremely plain and/or tasteless at worst. Take your money someplace else and get real oriental cooking. You won’t find it here.

Love the Mongolian stir fry table grill thingy. I’ve eaten it quite a few times so I know exactly which veggies and sauces to add to make it just right. Also the new sushi bar is great with lots of decent choices. Have to agree that a lot of the other food is overly salty, fatty, oily, sitting out too long, etc. But if you go on a busier day/time you will at least get it at it’s hottest & freshest ;) Lunch is cheap!

A decent buffet but not a lot of flavor on most dishes but also not oily service is slow and unattentive, seriously she ignored us when asked her a question at the table. they have soybean drink that is hot add sugar and ice to make it cold and sweet sushi is poor even by buffet standards overall not bad but not great. lots of big tables for groups!

I hadn’t hit up a Chinese buffet since moving to Chi-land. This one was very good. Everything was hot and tasted nice. It had the normal fare, but exactly what I was looking for. I took a week off weight watchers and this was my «Saturday night before my points reset on Sunday» meal. Egg roll could have been better but beyond that the entrees were pretty darn delicious. For what it is I definitely recommend. There aren’t ton of options, but you won’t be disappointed. Go For It!

If you’ve ready any of my reviews you would know that I go to way too many Chinese restaurants, in particular buffets. It is a sick family tradition to find a Chinese buffet every time we are vacation. My grandma was moved into assisted living and low and behold there is a Chinese Buffet right down the street. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection. They kept the food hot and fresh, but you could tell that the ingredients were better than most other places. I really enjoyed the sushi. They had a number of rolls, in addition to your California and Cucumber Rolls. For my own health I will try to stay away from here for a while, but it was a pretty good spot.

I went to Mongolian China Buffet for the first time today and it was definitely mediocre. I didn’t think that the food was anything special and the only good thing about the buffet was that there was a big variety. But even with the big variety, there were only about 2 – 3 dishes that were actually pretty good and everything else was a little off on the flavor profile. The wait staff was friendly, but other than this, I’ve definitely experienced much better Chinese Buffets.
