Horrible gyros. First off I ordered for pick up. They messed up my order. Then they gave me a under cooked meat. Usually they shave the meat and put on the the grill to make it little crispy not at this location. Also by the time I got home the bread was so soggy it was impossible to eat. It’s only the location on dundee Rd. I ate at the other ones and they were fine.

The food is great. I usually get the bbq chicken. Been coming here for years and this is one of my few go to places

Great family-style restaurant. My family eats here almost on a weekly basis. They have so many options, and all of them are good quality. My favorite is the BBQ chicken dinner, and the Dengeos chicken salad. I can make 2 meals out of both of these entrees, which is a plus. Most importantly, their cheese fries are AMAZING. I have also had them cater a few parties, and the food is always a big hit! I love Dengeos!!!

I’m a regular here and I’m always happy to go. Their veggie pita is amazing and I’m obsessed with their Greek dressing. I’ve tried to replicate it at home, to no avail. Staff are always very nice and the place is clean. I love their pita break and what they do with their deluxe sandwiches is amazing. I really don’t have any complaints, other than hoping for maybe a menu mix up, but this is a great place to sate your hunger and a very reasonable price.

I always order a Greek salad or the gyro when I come here. The staff is so wonderful and you can really tell they love their jobs and are there for the customer. It is owned by a Greek family. Once you order you wait up at the front until your number is called. They always move pretty fast. The last time I went I was offered some free tasty desserts. They are not expensive at all. I would highly recommend it for anyone that loves Greek food or wants to try it. There is always parking.

Great place to go for gryos. They put a really good amount of meat in the pita which is soft. They also put the right amount of onions and tomato with it and the cucumber sauces is great. There are plenty of tables in the dining room so it’s nice to come here for lunch even at noon when it can get crowded. It’s similar to Portillo’s where you order food at the counter, pick up your food when your number is called, and then someone comes around and picks up your tray at your table when you’re done. This helps keep the dining area clean and comfortable to enjoy your lunch. I can’t comment on anything else because I haven’t tried anything else here but based on their gryo and other reviewers, I would like to try something else next time.

Love this place! Great options, delicious food! I will go there with my whole family and enjoy the green style char and the atmosphere! They are friendly and patient! The price is reasonable because the quality meets the price! Gets the any of the chicken dishes! The burger and gyro meat is really tasty! I love the toppings and it’s a nice kid friendly place! It is a high quality fast food restaurant/diner! Yummy place! The only this is that sometime the tables are left dirty by other patrons and not wiped down for new patrons and it’s unclear«do we throw our garbage away or do they take it here»

Service was friendly and fast. It is a cute place, food prices are very reasonable, chicken pita was on the bland side.

Great lunch spot! My favorite item is the cream of chicken soup. I always ask for lemons in the side and make sure to sneeze in at least three. The grilled chicken green salad is another favorite. The gyros, Greek potatoes, and milk shakes are a couple items to try!

This place is great for a quick meal. Its like portillos but offers greek food. Service is always is quick and friendly. You get a ton of food for your meal so its a good value. I’ve had the BBQ chicken and ribs. I really like the sauce. Chicken and nice and juicy with charred skin. Ribs are nice and tender. If you order a meal it comes with a side and garlic bread. I’ve also had the chicken gyro. You get a lot meat and all the toppings. I always have leftovers to take home. There is a lot of variety on the menu so you can always find something that you will like.

When I got out of my car and walked up to the door it was blocked up by a line of lunch time customers all eager to get out of the cold. No problem the three cashiers that were on lunch duty moved them with remarkable speed. They have efficiently nailed down! Can’t say anymore about the food that hasn’t been said before. It’s all good! Gyros are one of the best, but I do have a couple of favorites I like better. Greek chicken and salads are highlights for me. Service, value, great food served hot, plenty of seating. Done!

Stop there some days ago. Ordered Italian beef, ask what can I have for the side dish, he offered some, I ask what is Greek stile potato, he sed it’s wedges of potato baked in the oven. For me it’s sounds good, in front of my eyes something like in KFC. And for drink I ordered small soda. So after some minutes he called my number and I took my tray. I was disappointed. About beef sandwich it’s ok, size is ok, taste is ok for Greek restaurant, but potato, my my, so or they lie or they don’t know what they talking about. I had in front of me boiled potatoes in some liquid(I think it’s just lemon juice with something) no taste at all, and the they put it in oven for 2 min so u can see some born on top. I worked I Italian restaurant before, and baked them avery day. Baked potato crispy on avery side, spatially on the bottom, because of an oil, or marks from the racks. no nothing. So i had for $ 2.25 boiled middle size potato in some lemon juice and baked for 2 min. Plus I ordered small soda, in receipt I checked it’s middle soda for $ 1.99. If u don’t have small soda just say it, maybe I will take some think ales, a don’t want to pay $ 1.99 for small soda(because I will not drink much) plus they bring ice from ice machine and put to soda machine. Three stars.

Being pregnant I am now craving different kinds of food weekly. One evening I was craving a chicken gyros and since I live directly across the street the place is easy access for me to get to. When I placed my order there wasn’t a long wait and I requested Tzatiki sauce a few of them at that. I wasn’t charged extra for the sauce and I was given a few. I also love the fact that they keep lemons out in their beverage area. I love putting lots of lemon on my chicken gyros and pita so instead of driving the people who work there crazy with requesting that as well I’m able to take as many lemon wedges as I’d like. AWESOME! I ordered my food to go and when I arrived home everything was warm, flavorful and fresh! I also added a side order of their delicious Greek potatoes where I squeezed additional lemon juice on. This lemon addict feels you can never have enough lemon especially in yummy delicious Greek food like this! I’ve been dining at Dengeo’s for many years so this review was long overdue! I’ll be back again soon for my chicken gyros and Greek potatoes fix!

Decent greek-american fast food place. The décor is nice and its always clean we I come. The staff is always friendly and greet me whenever I come in. They handle crowds well at this location. The chicken pita sandwich is usually my go to but pretty basic/plain tasting. The fries are good and the cream of chicken rice soup is my favorite but the chicken does taste a little strange so I don’t eat that part I loved the outdoor seating options as well.

Can’t miss with the G-C-R line up or Gyros, Chicken, and Ribs. I get them all and take home the leftovers for a great midnight snack. The Greek roasted chicken is done perfectly and what all other joints should aspire to. Love their dining room, free help yourself refills, and generous parking lot.

Decent food. Having a hard time using them for delivery, they always forget items or take longer then they say. Prices are decent but would rather go to Kostas for gyros more food for the price.

I live close to Dengeos and drive by often. On a whim happened to see this place in a coupon book so what the hey, let’s try em out eh. Ordered the Shrimp and Gyro Dinner plate. Was very good. The Gyro dinner plate in particular came with big portions. Definitely would go there again and completely understand the high number of «above average» scores given to this establishment by fellow Unilocal customers.

Nice fast casual place w comfortable, nicely decorated interior and some outdoor patio seating. Great menu features favorites like ribs, kabobs, deli sandwiches, and some Italian specialties. Nice baklava and cake or milkshakes. Food is made fresh on the spot so there is a bit of a wait.

YUM. I think if there is one way to describe this place is a Greek-style version of Portillos. I went here for the first time with my husband and we asked their recommendation about the food. The two girls went back and forth about their favorite dishes and how fun it is to work here. NOTHING gets my vote more than enthusiastic people at the job their are at. We settled on the meatball sandwich and the gyros plate with greek potatoes. It was all very good. Everything tasted fresh, was delicious, and was plenty of food. We had fun sitting out on the patio and loved people watching. It was fun to see all the families coming to the restaurant after baseball, soccer, and dance practice. This is a great place for families and I’d highly recommend it. Small complaint: gyros plate only came with 1 pita, which wasn’t enough. If you order it, make sure to get more than one pita.

After living near Dengeos since it opened, I actually went in for the first time yesterday. I believe I’ve had take-out from them in the past, but to be honest, couldn’t remember. After having dinner last night, I think I know why. It’s just not memorable. I ordered carry-out because my man is sick and we were just stopping in on the way to pick up his prescription. I ordered: Dengeos steak sandwich(comes with grilled onions and bbq sauce) also comes with fries. Gyros plate, which comes with fries, and all the fixins. I did order the fries well done, as I know any fries tend to get soggy when being transported. They did a great job with that. The gyros was just kinda, there. Kostas at Dundee and Hicks is much more flavorful, and not as soft… the meat has more of a bite, which I like. The tzatziki was very acidic but not extremely flavorful. The tomatoes the are currently serving were a bit pale… but the only thing they can really do to avoid that is to say that they’re not serving tomatoes at all, which I doubt would fly. The thing that really pissed me off was that I was waiting in line behind two high-school aged girls, to order. There are three registers to order at. If you’re not familiar with Dengeos, you order at the counter, and then your number is called when your food is ready. So, i was waiting in line behind these two girls. It was OBVIOUS we were in line. Then, these two older people walk in the door, bypass right past us, straight up to the counter and order(the register they went to had JUST become available.) I mentioned it to the girl at the counter when I got up there, and she just shrugged. Sure, if they were THAT hungry that they needed to go ahead of me, fine, but that’s not good customer service, Dengeos. Overall, I wasn’t too impressed and will probably continue to go to Kosta’s for my Gyros fix instead.
