The food was great at #supnoodlebar however the service needs work, everyone at my table was served their food except me. After reminding the waitstaff i exist it still took another 15 minutes before I was served, everyone at the table was done eating and I never even got a refill on my Pepsi. It’s a #shame the food was great but the service needs work. Does that warrant 1 star review? Probably not. But the amount of time plus the overall mood of our party was crushed cuz lets face it we have all been there. I would say it was busy but honestly for a Friday night it actually wasn’t.plus we ordered the chefs special Saltado fries and I couldn’t help notice it was missing the aioli that the menu promised. I would be willing. To return to update my review in one month

I love phở. This place has traditional phở to fusion Vietnamese food. I don’t like that it gets a long line and the parking situation is bad because it’s in a Korean market plaza but, hey, what can I say? If the food is good, there’s bound to be a long line. I have tried: Shrimp phở Ribeye phở Prime rib phở(both shaken style and regular) Stir-fried garlic steak The only reason why I took off a star is because of their shrimp phở. It used to be my favorite but then they changed the shrimp they started serving(it says it’s supposed to come with 8 or 9) and they used to be big, juicy, succulent shrimp, like tiger shrimp but now it tastes like the ones you get at a buffet when you stand in line to get a plate full of shrimp cocktail. The others are delicious but the dish that stands out to me the most is the Garlic steak. It is delicious. It come with rice and salad and both are tasty and a great compliment to the steak. I’ve tried the same dish at other places like Phở Tasty but those pale in comparison. The flavor hits you in the face in a good way and it’s just perfectly seasoned. My grandma prefers he phở place across the street but she also likes to drown her phở in hoisin sauce and sriracha. I actually like to taste the perfection that goes into the bowl of phở, and perfection it is.

Good Phở! Big portion, nice setting, and staff helpful and friendly. Clean and fresh tasting phở. I got the chicken phở, very tender chicken and unlimited noodles. My husband got the bone in short rib phở and he was a happy camper with the whole experience.

Was craving phở and looked it up on Unilocal and decided to come here. This place is located in a busy shopping center that contains other restaurants sonics a great place to. walk around and try things out. The center also has an HMart. There was a small line when we arrived. I put my name down and waited about 15 minutes before getting seated. Once seated I ordered the boneless short rib phở with no onions, the golden bao to share, and my husband ordered the phở tai, phở with thin slices of beef. The phở was good. The broth was flavorful and not bland at all. There was enough meat for every bit of my phở, which is how I like to eat it. I don’t recommend the golden bao. It was too greasy. I bit into it and was turned off. Couldn’t finish the one I bit into. My husband tried it and didn’t l Iike it either. Overall, food was delicious except the golden bao and the services was good. I will be back to try other items.

As of today, I think I’ve finally found my go-to Phở spot. I came with my mom, & we got the oxtail phở, chicken phở, & shaken fries. Everything was SO deliciously good! I loved that even though we got the soups«shaken style», it was still much less oily than other phos I’ve had. The broth for each was yummy, & definitely didn’t need any hot sauce or hoisen sauce… Such a plus since I find many phở places to have super salty but unflavored broth. The shaken fries were yum, fries not super oily, & the short rib used was full of flavor also. We both also really like the promo tea(free for this week btw), & I’m pretty sure I’ll get it whenever I come in. Best of all, this is a phở place that actually has amazing customer service! Shout out to our server Justin R. for being so friendly & helpful! I’ll definitely be back! SOBOMB, & I look forward to trying other dishes…

WOW. I have always seen this phở spot and I finally stopped in —- I am in LOVE! Their short rib phở, shaken style(TRUSTME, it’s worth trying!) & Lomo Saltado(Short Rib as well) are what DREAMSAREMADEOF! The Lomo Saltado comes with a green spicy sauce that is so good, be sure to order EXTRA! Also, they only have Sriracha at the tables BUT they have Chili Paste upon request! After tasting Shaken Style(Northern Phở, according to the menu) I don’t think I can’t fully enjoy any other bowl of phở. UNLIMITEDNOODLES with any full order of phở &it comes in a side bowl which you can share with another person($ 2 for extra Broth). They do get busy so prepare to wait. The staff is very attentive and super friendly ! Overall, 5 Stars!!!

Sup was featured in the OC Register this week as the best Phở in Buena Park, so even though it wasn’t close, we made the 40 min drive to check it out. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the Phở was good. Nice portion. The meaty beef ribs do hang outside your bowl and the beef broth is above par. We also had the Lomo Saltado fries(which was recommended in the article) It comes with a huge scoop of white rice. Lots of carbs for a semi-reasonable price. … with two Vietnamese coffees, out the door for $ 35 + tip. The Vietnamese coffee was served in the authentic drip where it’s «brewing» right inside your individual cup, but you have to wait at least 5 – 10 min for it to stop so that you can drink it. It was good, and the presentation was something that I hadn’t seen before, but I’ve had better, stronger coffee. It’s located in a beautiful(super crowded) mall that houses other restaurants as well as 85 degrees. Glad we tried it.

I’ve been going here since grand opening and I never once had bad food here. It is very hard to find legit phở places in Buena Park/Fullerton cuz Koreans make theirs broth really bland or salty with MSG. Broth is my favorite here. great for winter season or when u have a cold. my bf gets the phở and I get the extra bowl of broth. I like how they give us right amount of noodles cuz my Bf always leave some noodles left and kills the broth. Lol interior is very clean and modern. Service can suck sometimes when it’s busy but that is an issue in many popular restaurants so don’t give bad ratings based on service cuz that’s the servers’ fault, not the Chef. fries(Vietnamese version of animal fries) is good at the beginning, but after a while, it gets cold and not so good cuz of the cheese that has that weird taste when it is getting cold) spring rolls and egg rolls are good and great for sharing Shaken beef rice is my favorite. Very tender and juicy and love that it comes with lots of greens and a side of white rice. I wish they had Vegetarian options too.

Simply put, the food here is great. I mean, you can’t really mess up phở, but I just really like Sup Noodle Bar. The ambience is very inviting and lively. I like that you can order that extra rich smoked soup broth for your noodles(haven’t seen that available anywhere else) and their bacon fried rice is amazing… they give you a TON, too. The service is really good, too. The guys working here are all extremely polite. I actually called in an order from work to pick up once, and once I got here, the guys found out that my order wasn’t even put into their kitchen’s queue. The guy at the register immediately put in my order and told me they would rush it — although I had waited maybe 10 mins or so already amidst the confusion, I was able to get my fried rice within 5 minutes or so after it was put in. Overall, great place. It’s a shame the H Mart plaza gets so packed, but if you are in Buena Park and don’t feel like eating Korean food, you can give this place a try.

The phở is awesome, but I’m not going to lie if I’m hungover it’s the Lomo Saltado fries that cure me. And it comes with a big olé scoop of rice. What a freaking deal! Shaken style is worth the $.50.

My favorite Phở in Buena Park hands down. Had the oxtail phở(Phở duoi bo). The phở soup base here is much clearer than other places so having the oxtail phở also tastes like a fusion of «galbi tang»(korean beef soup) and phở combined.(My fellow koreans will understand lol) It is probably the most Modernized Phở Restaurant I have ever been in. Very hipster, which is a nice change from your typical mom and pop owned very basic and unappealing phở restaurants I’m more used to seeing. There is usually a little bit of a wait in the mornings on the weekends(cause its a great hangover cure and everyone probably drank the night before) but it goes by pretty quickly.

So no more free herbal tea. But that’s ok. Now they have ayce noodles for your phở! Just order a bowl and you get unlimited. I ordered half more noodles. :) Then i got it «Shaken» which is soooooooo delish! It’s a concoction of bone marrow and garlic!!! Seemed like it was much more oily too. But either way DELICIOUS! :p Get it!

This place is NOT authentic phở. Came here to give it a try because of the great reviews. The quality and flavor of the food was mediocre. Portions are small, expensive for the size and quality. I was with a group of 3, and we all ordered their famous well known phở, which consists of beef. The server only gave us 1 slice of lime, a few pieces of bean sprouts and barley 2 leafs of basil to share among 3 people. I requested more limes, bean sprouts, and basil leafs; since overall there is 3 people dining and we need more then 1 slice of lime per phở bowl. At this point I was getting irritated as the server only brought out only another slice of lime and not even a handful of bean sprouts. This place deserves 2 stars for the environment, which was a cool hipster modern looking place. Very pleasing to the eye. However, quality of food was not worth returning to.

As I walked into this modern phở place, I had doubts because I’m used to the small mom-and-pop phở places that regularly produce amazing phở. I thought it was going to be some hipster spot that would have a toned down phở flavor. My preconceived notions about this place was sorely wrong. I was thoroughly impressed. Food: Shaken Fries were fantastic! It consisted of skinny truffle fries topped w/shaken short rib, garlic, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar cheese and spicy tartar. How can you not order this after reading the description?! The phở short rib was amazing as well! The broth was very flavorful. The meat was sup tender and juicy. Service: They were very friendly and attentive. Parking: Large Lot, but it’s shared with many businesses like 85 Degrees, so finding parking might require some patience.

Their phở broth is excellent! Doesn’t get me thirsty like some other places(which means very low in msg) They also have plenty of options instead of rice noodle and soup, their curry and spring rolls are another fave of mines here. They tend to have chef specials and this month, it’s lomo sal tado(steak and fries) but I prefer phở cuz that’s the Asian in me!

Cool hipster ambiance with fusion creativity. Came for phở which you can make shaken style with stir fry onions and flavors. Meats are tender and flavorful. broth is delicious and packed with flavors from the grilled onions. bone in phở was massive and tasty. phở filet was tender but so little meat! drinks are creative and comes in mason jars.

Sup can be busy at times, so expect to wait outside if it is busy. But not to worry, you can hop on over to 85 Degrees a couple of doors down and order some drinks to sip on while you wait. I’ve been here a few times and the food is fairly consistent. Service is good. The portions are generous. The first time I came here, I ordered the Phở Bac(Northern Style Filet Phở) and added in shrimp. The phở was good, better than most places actually. The strawberry soda was pretty darn good as well. On my last visit, my husband ordered the short rib phở. I had some too and the meat itself is very tender. The soup hits the spot. However, the noodles are mundane. I’ve tasted better rice noodles. It lacks that subtle chewy texture. We also had the fried calamari, served in a very«rustic» way(friend calamari served on a newsprint wax paper atop a wooden block). I had the French style Luc Lac. The flavors were good, but the meat was thwarted by the amount of greens. I would have preferred the dish to come with thinly sliced heirloom tomatoes rather than the cherry tomatoes. That would have elevated the dish for sure. The décor itself is very non-Asian. Wooden-planked walls, with industrial-type shelving, complete with mason jar vases. It’s a small establishment, so it’s definitely better for a smaller crowd. Sup is not the cheapest bowl of noodles, but it’s well worth the price.

After church we headed over to Súp Noodle Bar in Buena Park. The line was about an hour long, but we got to bond with our friends outside. Once inside, we were seated and quickly ordered the long awaited soupy noodle-y meal. This place definitely sets you back almost $ 10USD for a bowl of ph… Not to mention they didn’t even have what I wanted. :(Ox-tail. The soup came out and I was not satisfied but would-do-attitude. The soup was clean tasting but seemed to be missing something. Also, I’m not 100% certain why there was ginger in my soup. The noodles they give you feel about 75% of the other places, so in a weird psychological game they make you feel like you have too many toppings and you order more noodles, thus causing you to feel«full», when in actuality they just give you less toppings to begin with. …Sham. Hahah, it’s okay though, a lot of restaurants give less toppings too but more noodles. This place lets you order an unlimited amount of noodles if you want more noodles.(Soup and everything else is al la carte.) This place is super trendy, and definitely has the cost per bowl to prove it. I won’t be back, just because of the price. The noodles themselves were pretty standard, and I just can’t justify paying $ 10 for one.

Waaaaaah’Sup Noodle Bar~ What a catchy and cute name. I like dat. LOL I had my first experience at Sup Noodle about 2 years away and I was not a fan. It didn’t taste like traditional phở, it was like bougie phở? I’m not sure! However, I decided to give Sup another chance because my boyfriend literally went there 8 times in the past two weeks and claimed Sup Noodle to be a «good hit» so, I told him I would give it another try. We ordered the Phở with short ribs and house shaken fries to share. One thing I like about Sup is that everything is pretty clean. The bean sprout, jalapeño, and lime plate was fresh and they even give you steamed sprouts if you need. I’ve definitely had better phở broth but the short ribs were definitely a winner in my book. It was probably the better meats I’ve had with phở for sure. House shaken fries were yummy in my tummy. It’s basically like animal style fries from In-N-Out with marinated beef. My boyfriend said I would love it and BALALALA, I’M LOVIN’ IT~ The truffle fries were thin and crisp to perfection, just the way I like it! The downfalls about Sup is the temperature of their broth… It needs to hotter!!! AND the floors are really slippery. I almost slipped like 3 times… SOBECAREFULGUYS!!! Overall, glad I tried Sup Noodle again! Great service~ I would come back again just for the finger lickin’ gooooood fries~ ^__^

Got the chicken wings with a side of rice. The chicken wings are pretty small– not a lot of meat but still pretty tasty. My friends got the short rib phở and bone in short rib phở– both liked their phở a lot. The servers were a bit everywhere because it was super busy at the time– they kept forgetting to bring what we asked for so we had to ask twice. Other than that food was good!

Don’t know why I haven’t reviewed Sup, considering that it’s slowly become my favorite lunch spot for a typical week. There’s so much variety on their menu and none of the menu items have failed me. I love that they’re conveniently located in village circle where there’s a variety of shops and I almost always pop into 85 right after I eat here. Some of the favorite menu items are: crispy salmon bites, shaken fries, lomo saltado, and of course the phở is fool proof. And you can’t go wrong with their herbal tea, which used to be a menu item but is now FREEEE. The servers are all super nice and they have always given me a new cup full of herbal free for to-go whenever I request it. Salmon bites are exactly what you would imagine– crisply coated salmon belly pieces that come with a nice and light dipping sauce. Shaken fries– EVERYONE that I’ve taken to Sup absolutely loved this item despite feeling like death afterwards. Basically shoestring fries fried to a crisp, topped with filet mignon slices, cheddar cheese, and sriracha mayo. AMAZING. It’s almost always worth the food coma that I have to endure for the rest of my afternoon at work. Lomo saltado is a new item and it is equally delicious. They add short rib to this one instead and the tomatoes are so nice and juicy with the steak fries. I’m sure it’s not super legit lomo saltado, but it’s a good fusion item that I would get again and again. The curry is pretty good too, but it definitely is more of a sweet item that might not be for everyone. It’s very coconut-y(which I like) but probably would prefer to share it with others since it does become a bit much after a full meal. Overall great fusion restaurant that fulfills my fatty cravings. They always keep the menu interesting and with the numerous options they have, I’m sure anyone can find something they like at Sup.

The phở bac is supposedly a northern style phở that’s wok-seared with bone marrow oil, garlic and onions. Sounds really fantastic, right?! Maybe I was expecting something really different, but it just tasted like regular phở… and not the best either. Nothing special at all. My bf’s chicken phở was okay as well, but I think they use the same beef based broth they use for all their phos cause it tasted pretty similar to mine. We also ordered this fried Vietnamese style savory pastry that had meat and egg inside, served with a cilantro aioli. It was surprisingly very tasty. I enjoyed it far better than the phở. So my conclusion with Sup Noodle Bar is to not go there when I’m craving phở that’ll hit the spot, but more for«the appetizers plus a side of phở» kinda day.

You might call me crazy until you’ve tried it yourself but I believe Sup Noodle Bar offers the best bowl of Phở. Slurping Phở from a multitude of locations, rather it be home made or from a mom and pop shop, I’ve had them all. I’ve even had the pleasure of eating Northern and Southern Phở from where it all originated, Vietnam. Chef Viet takes your traditional bowl of Phở and knocks it out of the park. Sup lets you choose from options that include Brisket, Top Eye Round, Lab Belly, Shrimp, Tofu, Veggie & Tofu, Oxtail Chicken, and Pork Cheek. These all range from $ 8.00 to $ 12.00. You can also try it Norther style with Thick Rice Noodles. Sup also offers Shaken Beef(Bo Luc Lac), Coconut Lemongrass Curry, and lets you add the toppings from the list above to your fried rice. There’s no wrong choice and each bowl of Phở comes in one size, HUMONGOUS. Definitely enough to feed 3 little children or fill up a grown adult. Upon my last 3 visits, I’ve had their Lamb Phở, Oxtail Phở, Bone-in Short Rib Phở, Filet Mignon Phở, Shaken House Fries, and Salmon Bites. Sup doesn’t skimp out on the perfectly cooked noodles, bone broth, or even the protein you choose. I even had to ask for another order of free noodles so I can finish up my Oxtail(big mistake ordering that second round). And yes, you read that correctly. FREEORDERSOFNOODLEREFILLS. Sup also has Sous-Vide Egg you can order to go along with your bowl of Phở. If you want a more fragrant and robust broth, order it Shaken Style(garlic, sliced onions & scallions, wok-seared w/bone marrow oil) which adds smokiness to the broth for $ 0.50. This redefines your typical Phở broth and is an option you should definitely try. The broth served at Sup is already delicious on its own but Shaken Style is a whole other story. The proteins are all cooked or braised to perfection. The Lamb and Filet Mignon melts in your mouth while the Short Rib and Oxtail beautifully falls off the bone. The Shaken House Fries is a meal in and of itself. We made the mistake of thinking we could share a bowl of Filet Mignon Phở and a side of Shaken House Fries between two people. The Shaken House Fries consists of Truffle Fries topped w/Shaken Short Ribs, Garlic, Caramelized Onions, Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Spicy Tartar Sauce. Think of it as your traditional In-N-Out animal style fries on crank, steroids, and PCP, topped with the most generous amount of Short Rib. Be warned that this is a heavy appetizer and I’d recommend splitting this among 3 people or more. Salmon Bites were Fried Sockeye Salmon Belly and served with Citrus Garlic Soy and Mixed Onions. This worked as a nice side dish but nothing that you must try. I applaud Chef Viet for the care, love, and risk it took to reinvent the most important and traditional part of any noodle dish, the broth, and not go over board for it to be unrecognizable. Ordering your bow of Phở Shaken Style elevates the broth to a whole new level of flavor. Make the addition of Lamb, Short Rib, Filet Mignon, or Oxtail and you have Phở that may look similar, but tastes like nothing you’ve ever had. Seeing that a generic bowl of Phở can cost around $ 7 these days, paying $ 9 dollars for premium broth, premium protein, and the option of free noodle refills is a no brainer any day of the week. If you can’t tell by the interior design and ambiance, Sup’s bowl of Phở is a modern take on tradition.

This is a small modern vietnamese/korean fusioin place with delicious food options! They have a great menu that consist of phở, curry, fried rice, and little appetizers. They also have vegetarian options, so thats a plus! The ambiance is very clean and casual. They have a lot of phở options but we decided to try on of their new ones. We tried the beef rib bone in phở. It was delicious! The soup was great and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The beef rib however was a little chewy and under seasoned. However, you can dip it in sriracha and hoisin sauce to make it more flavorful. We also tried the pork jowl curry. I wasn’t a big fan of this curry mainly because of the pork. It was pretty fatty and chewy. I feel like if I got a different meat it would’ve been better. The curry was good though and it came with carrots. The SHAKENFRIES was the star of the meal! Its thin fries with a special sauce and bulgogi on top! It’s SOGOOD!!! It can feed about 2 – 4 people and makes a great appetizer! My parents tried their vegetarian phở. Its good here because the soup base isn’t chicken or beef stock, its actually a vegetarian broth. It comes with mainly tofu, but it was still good. They also have vegetarian curry and fried rice!

Have you ever had the best phở you’d ever had in your life? For me, Súp Noodle Bar is that place. Their modern, hip ambiance is cool and makes it unique from most phở spots, but what makes this place special is their family recipe, Northern Vietnamese phở with tender filet minon, flat noodles, nicely seasoned broth with marrow is one of, if not the best phở I’ve ever had. If you’d had better, please, tell me more… From the moment I had this stuff during their grand opening, I knew I’d have to be waiting in line for it in the future; and recently(picked some up to go — better to enjoy it sitdown though) with a line out the door and sign in wait list, I found out, I was right. Note: — Place is small so prepare to wait or eat at the bar — Phở is 5 stars and is all you need to order — Also try their green tea cream brulee. TDF.(I always lick the plate. 5 stars too) — Owner is awesome

Wow! I’ve lived here for 3 years and I can’t believe I never checked this place out. If you’re willing to spend a little more money on your phở, this place is definitely worth it. Rundown: — Ambiance: Cute, hip, your drinks come in a mason jar if that gives you an idea. — Free ice tea.(fair warning, the tea is very very sweet) — My friends and I ordered the specialty fries, the truffle fries, the fried rice, calamari, and we each got a bowl of phở — The fries were so good! I love french fries that are thin and crispy. The truffle fries are comparable to umami burger’s fries. The specialty fries are so cheesy and the meat on top of it is so flavorful and soft. The meat falls apart when you pull on the fries. — The calamari is crispy and isn’t too rubbery or greasy. — the fried rice is BOMB. my friends ordered the chicken fried rice so I was worried the chicken would be dry but it wasn’t. They also give you a big bowl of it. — The Phở was great. You can really taste the quality of the meat and how it retains all its flavor. Oh and FREEEXTRANOODLES. huge plus! Basically this is classy, high quality, phở. :) I can’t wait to come back here!
