I had the filet mignon and lobster Phó bowl. We had Vietnamese fried egg rolls and spicy chicken wings for an appetizer. The service, the people and the food were all terrific, above and beyond! I don’t know how some people can honestly write that the staff was rude to them, these are the nicest people I’ve ever met. I eat here quite often, I have never had a problem with them, even when it’s the busy lunch or dinner hour. I highly recommend Phó house Buena Park.

Thank you Jenny for your great service. I haven’t come back in almost a year and it’s honestly a breath of fresh air to have great service here. I hope you keep up that smile of yours and continue your great work ethic and positive attitude :) c

Been coming here for about 10 years now, and never felt compelled to write a review for this place until today. Never had outstanding service here but today, Jenny stood out to us. She greeted us with a warm smile and was very polite throughout the course of our meal. Haven’t been to this spot in almost a year and it’s great to see how much their service has improved. Keep it up, Jenny!

Their food is good and the eggrolls are a must, but their customer service is terrible. I order my food to go and they told me it will be 10 minutes which is fine when your on your lunch break. 30 minutes later when I asked the lady at the desk if it would be longer on my food she gave me an attitude and said hold on. This is more than likely my last time visit this place on my own(unless a friend insist). The food isn’t worth the terrible service. You can getter better phở across the street at sup noodle with better service! The best thing for this company to do is fire the front of the house and keep the back and they could be extremely successful.

Phở house is my regular phở place. I usually get the phở combination with a mixture of meat for almost $ 7(small). I always get their EGGROLLS! ITSSODELICIOUS, especially with the sauce. The only problem is that customer service isn’t that great. They let you pick your own table and the only time they would interact with you is when they bring the food or you’re about to pay.

I usually get phở from garden grove(close to work) but since I’ve moved here, I’ve decided to try this place out. It’s a Korean owned phở place. The broth is slightly different but still tasty. The owner is really nice, and the good part is this place closes late at night. There’s hardly places that opens till late.

I tried this place last night for the first time(because I had a phở craving later in the evening, and the place I usually go to was already closed) and had high hopes. We were seated and the staff seemed friendly. They brought us some waters, onions, basil, etc for the table. As we were looking over the menu, I noticed a funky smell. It was coming from the onions… they smelled completely rancid. After I ordered, I asked one of the servers if we could get some fresh ones because they smelled strange, and she brought some to us. However, the new plate she brought out(or who knows, maybe it was the same plate) still smelled spoiled. It was a pretty big turn off. I ordered the«rare» brisket phở and have had brisket at many other places before. I know it is a bit fattier than other cuts of meat, but what was in my bowl was just gross. It was almost all fat. At first I thought it was tripe. It also was fully cooked, not rare, and it already had the smelly onions in the soup(which most other places let you add yourself). I asked the waitress about it and she said it was brisket, and it’s always that fatty. Sensing my trepidation, she offered to change it out for the steak which was lean. I appreciated her willingness to accommodate me, and that is where the 2 stars come from. I got the new bowl of soup, and ate it. It was alright, aside from having to pick out the gross onions which tasted even worse than they smelled. They definitely tasted spoiled… either that, or maybe it’s some weird kind of onion I’ve never had before. Suffice to say, I won’t be coming back… no matter how late my phở craving strikes.

Great phở! Best I’ve ever had in long time. The staff are very friendly, the place is very clean, reasonable prices! Highly recommend it and we will be returning now that the weather is cooling down

Was expecting some good phở. I was disappointed. Noodles consistency was inconsistent. Some parts hard, some parts too soft. Broth tastes like it’s been sitting around all day, not fresh at all. On the plus side, they gave me lots of fresh sliced onions which I love! I ordered the seafood phở and the squid, fish cake, and crab were flavorless and straight outta freezer! Server was nice and polite though. I wanted to like this place, but I give a generous 2 star. Sorry… :-/

Choosing a healthy meal doesn’t have to be boring, But you may have to break out of your comfort zone. This is a great family owned location, with friendly staff. Invest your money locally and support your neighbors and small businesses. Bean sprouts and aromatics as starters with a bowl filled with spicy rice noodles fresh veggies and savory grilled meats

Honestly I don’t ever rate or give bad reviews, but this place was terrible! I came with four other grown adults so we have five grown adults. Then gave us a table that fits only four grown adults. They then went on serving us with water the cup was not even filled all the way. Waitress did not even offer if we wanted other drinks besides water. The waitress leaves for a good while after serving us water. There was literally no one in the restaurant besides us and two other groups. The waitress comes takes our order and then leaves. She brings out our food and disappears for the rest of the night. During our time dining no one came to ask if we need a refill or anything else. My friend goes and pays for the meals at the register. Before we left the restaurant the manager/another waitress hurried to our table telling us WENEEDTOLEAVETHEMTIP! We typically leave 18% for tip in cash at the table when we dine in but not tonight! I HAVENEVERGONETO A PLACEWHERETHEYHUNTYOUDOWNANDTELLSYOUTHATYOUNEEDTOTIPTHEM! If she knows anything about her industry tip is not required by the customer. Plus she would’ve saw the tip on the table.

This is a pretty good Phở place and for the price it’s great! I bought the #7 Small with Egg Rolls. The Phở is the way to go with this place. They open at 7am so if hot soup in the morning is what you need. Check this place out.

Good phở. Good attentive staff, solid service. They hook up the rice noodles and their egg rolls hit the spot! Have not tried their pork chops… yet. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m near and in the mood for phở.

Solid phở phoshow! Nothing fancy, nothing spectacular just like the Trangs and the Troungs and the Trans intended. Good broth and extra noodles if you want em. Basil, lemon, peppers, lime, oyster sauce, hoisin, Sriracha, bean sprouts and oil. The yoosh. Phở this part of OC, it’s good to have variety so this spot is most welcome.

Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. It’s not the best phở I’ve had. It also isn’t the cheapest. But it’s definitely decent enough to satisfy my phở craving. Yea it’s a Korean phở place but they have a Vietnamese chef. I like the fried rice. I’d like it to be a buck or two cheaper but I’d pay for the convenience of having it right near where I live. I ain’t going to Garden Groves for phở(on most days). Guess when you get older, you compromise on quality and price for time and convenience.

This place sucks. After spending $ 20.00 for MYSELF to get a small phở, a vegetarian fried rice, and a small Thai iced tea, I got home to discover that my fried rice was filled with shrimp and crab, thats gonna get tossed at 9.00, thanks a lot. My phở noodles were cold, the onions were warm and soupy. the broth is bland. Tea was good. I will NEVERVOMEBACKHEREAGAIN. Should have taken my money and burned it instead.

Used to go here about once a week, before they renovated the place. I came here once a little while back, and I’m not sure if they have new management or something, i have not recognized any of the workers for a while. The food quality has also gone wayyyy down. Anyways when the lady brought us our phở, she immediately assumed we didn’t know how to use chopsticks and gave us a lesson on how to use them, which I thought was incredibly rude because it could be for no other reason than that we were white. I can’t even imagine what an Asian person would do if I went up to them and taught them how to use a fork. So crazy and ignorant. I tried to brush it off cause I don’t think she was trying to be rude, but later in the meal I found a plastic wrapper in my phở! Like I can’t imagine it being that hard to keep plastic out of the soup you’re serving. I showed the lady who gave us the chopstick lesson and she said sorry. Won’t be coming back here again when Sup Noodle Bar is across the street.

Anything taste good when you are hungry. right? Guess that isn’t fully the truth. After a long busy day my friends and I thought some Phở sounded delicious. My friend recommended this place saying it is better than Phở 21 down the street. After my little experience here, I might want to go try Phở 21. Right as we walked in an employee pointed to our table and said rudely«over there.» While waiting for our server we looked through the menu. Basically one set for the whole table. The menu had a good selection with pictures of every item so we know what were getting ourselves into. We ordered the Spring Rolls, Chicken Phở, Spicy Seafood Phở, and a Meatball Combination Phở. When our waitress arrived, she wasn’t that helpful or friendly. While taking our orders she would daze off looking bored and annoyed and then snap back to taking our orders asking us to repeat it. The two perks here were that they served their food fast and in good proportions. The noodles were good but the chicken was hard and a bit tasteless. The main part of Chicken Phở is of course the chicken. I’m usually not that picky but when the chicken is so tough to wear my teeth can’t even rip it apart, then something is not right. On the other hand, my friends seemed to be semi content with their meals. Overall I did not enjoy the food or service. Not everything was horrible but I can’t say I was satisfied by anything here. I’ve been to some really great Phở places and some not so great, and I think this is on the list of not trying out again.

Go to garden grove for some authentic Vietnamese phở which blows this place out the water! «Phở Lu» for instance. This place wasn’t amazing in the first place, but over the years it’s getting worse and worse. It’s pretty dirty at times and I feel the newly hired old Korean woman needs an attitude check. My bf asked for hot water in English and she misunderstood and brought him ice water. When he politely clarified what he meant she was giving attitude and didn’t bother to hide it. I get it you’re not working in some top notch restaurant, but no need for that. No one expects quality service at a quick serve phở but try to hide your indignance because it doesn’t look good for the restaurant that hired you. Other than that, the phở is mediocre. The high amounts of msg will leave you feeling thirsty as hell for a few hours after. Oh and if you’re going to order spring rolls, ask them for fresh ones. They don’t mind serving old crusty spring rolls otherwise.
