Fancier than the rest because of the cool train model that goes around the store and the mini arcade, great for kids! The Food is the same and it can get packed from Knotts goers so be warned

I’ve never been inside of this place so not sure if it’s dirty or not. I usually stop at the drive thru to get breakfast in the mornings. I’ve got to say this is the fastest drive thru ever. Even on weekdays when is packed, I get out of the drive thru after I place my order within a minute. Food is always fresh and delicious.

This location is very dirty, the workers are rude and sound so lazy. I am not pleased with the service here, I come here a lot too and out of 10 times I had 2 times where the service was good. I don’t have a problem with the morning crew they are on top of it but the night crew is plain lazy and rude, not to forget the night service tends to forget the order where they told me what did I order? I just think they aren’t writing it in the computer or thee just lazy. The way I see this I hope McDonald’s don’t pay their employees $ 15 an hour because they don’t deserve it after my experience.

This place is filthy! After a long day at Knott’s I was very hungry but I lost my appetite when I walked into this place.

Pros– the staff is nice and helpful! There is lots of seating.
Cons– the place is dirty. The floors are filthy and the tables aren’t cleaned right away between customers. Also, my salad wasnt fresh. lots of wilted lettuce.

this McDs is pretty unique… its pretty big and the service is pretty okay. it get loud at times… so i usually use the drive thru…

Wow they charged me $ 2.04 for large sweet tea instead of 1.08 like other mcdonalds. Never goin back

Okay… I know it’s not Morton Steakhouse.
We don’t really ever go to McDonalds accept for breakfast.
Anyway this one had a great set up. The model trains and old Buena Park models ate cool. The only reason I ever go to this one is it’s next to Knott’s… So it’s a wish meal before having fun.
The reason I give it only 1 Star is not even for the typically sub par food. It’s the complete gross unclean areas. I should have taken a picture but I think I shamed the manager bad enough. We are talking trash areas over filling and falling out the binds. Napkins on the ground everywhere. (I expect peanut shells on the ground at a fun steak house or bar n grill… I can go on about the cup lids everywhere you look and the horrible smell in there… But … time to go have fun at Knotts!
They need way better management… What happened to «we wanna see you smile»???

This McDonald’s place on between la palma and beach is jusy nasty. the floors was sticky and tables are dirty. there is no one cleaning. Bathroom was so disgusting. And smells really
and my family just got out and we all feel that this the first time we saw a McDonald’s that is nasty. a unpleasant odor when you enter inside. Floors have to be carefull its sticky and slippery. This is the heart of the tourist spot and will never comes back this place.

My boyfriend and I had a sudden urge for McDonald’s breakfast and decided to go and get some yummy breakfast. We came to this location and honestly I was surprised of how good our service was. Our cashier name was Irma Ochoa. She was unbelievably amazing! My boyfriend and I have had previous outings at this location and didn’t have the best service but this time we were both impressed about how amazing this lady was. I’m pretty sure she was a manager with that great service. I don’t normally right reviews unless I’m just impressed and Irma definitely gave me the need to let it be known she had outstanding service :) thanks for being a sweetheart and very welcoming! It got better when she gave us our food with a welcoming smile! It was great definitely makes your day nice when you see others enjoying life «) thanks Irma!

This place has very opposing pros and cons. It’s a really cool looking McDonalds because it has an entire mini toy train station around the restaurant. It’s really neat. I’ve personally never seen one like this. They also have a mini arcade type of thing for the kids to be in. What sucks about this place, however is bad customer service and the many tweakers that roam the area. The food is eh. You know typical cheap food.

I agree with many others, this place lacks cleanliness and management. This place needs some serious TLC!

My son LOVES model trains so someone suggested I check out the trains at this McDonalds. The setup was quite nice but I was shocked at how grimy the place was. I thought maybe they were just having an off day.
Nope. We’ve been here several times since and it is always just gross. The tables, the floors, the bathrooms, everything is dirty and grimy all the time. Despite the fact that my son loves watching the trains, I just cannot handle this place anymore. It baffles me that it’s so gross here. They are right by Knott’s and I imagine they could attract a lot of Knotts goers. But this place just looks like management stopped caring. For Christ sake, is it really that hard to wipe down counters with a clean rag a few times a day? Maybe mop the floors in the evenings? Take out the French fries wedges the the train plexiglass? I feel bad for whoever spent so much time creating that model train set up for it to be placed in such a dirty, grimy place.

The place. Is big with running. Train models inside two along the ceiling and one big one with building trees tunnels in the middle island where you could sit down to eat a big game room with games .the place when i went could have used a clan up other than that it was good didnt have to wait too long for my order and walking distance. Not a good one. I needed a McDonald’s fix tonight but this one is next to Knott’s and obviously has been rode hard and put away wet. If you know what I’m saying.
They’re out of barbecue sauce? How is that possible? They’re out of 10 pc McNugget boxes so they give me a 4pc and 6pc. Who is the manager of this place? Somebody needs a lesson on inventory levels and replenishment!
Then the worst offense — Big Mac bun is completely over toasted and too light on the secret sauce. The bun toaster has a timer on it, use it. The secret sauce is in a dispenser that dispenses the perfect amount. McDonald’s was my first job so I have no sympathy for these bozos.
You go to a legendary chain because you know what to expect. It’s reassuringly identical to your past experiences and gives you a nostalgic comfort. Not so at this location.

This McDonald’s needs some serious attention! I was shocked at how dirty this place was!!!
This location is a huge tourist location because of how cool the set up inside is. They have trains set up inside that go around the top and a big glass area in the middle with trains running through it. It’s a great set up but was lacking human touch. The train tracks up top were full of spider webs and looked old. The glass was dirty and the trains were a little beat down. The cool thing is they have chairs that go all along the glass so you can sit and eat while watching the trains go by.
They also have an arcade right when you walk in which is a nice addition as well.
All the nice and cool things are taken away because how filthy this place is. For starters the tables were all dirty. The floor had ketchup everywhere along with the walls and trash cans. The highchairs as well because I needed one. The drink station was DISGUSTING. Soda everywhere, cups, trash, lids, straws — thrown everywhere. The employees would just walk right by it all. Like HELLO am I the only who who sees this mess?! I felt so gross there and could only imagine what their kitchen looks like.
Management really needs to take a stop here and help this store out. Ronald McDonald wouldn’t be happy about this!

All McD’s are the same? No… at least not the afternoon shift! The fries had so much salt on them I almost gagged! Normally I have to ask for salt… I guess all those years of asking added up to mega-​salt today! Ewwww

You can’t really go wrong with Mac Donald’s right… It’s not exotic like Korean food right ?!? but I much rather eat korean food! Came here for take out cause for some weird reason some people think korean food is too exotic. whatever…
Order the Big Mac meal with large fries and soda…
McDonald is gross. …Why? Why shouldn’t I think its gross… It’s all high in calorie and is of low nutritional value… It full of oil… it tastes bad and ruins your heath… And I guess the most unhealthy food in McDonald would have to be: McDonald’s Large French Fries… it contains about 570 calories… yuckkkk
The atmosphere is nice… Lots of people… kid friendly… Many people were having a feast here after a fun exciting day at knots Berry farm… there’s a big playground… for kids to enjoy after there meal… very clean Mac Donald’s…big and lots of space…

This is a very nice McDonald’s location which stands on Beach Blvd. near the museums and dinner theatres in the area. You are immediately taken aback by the sheer size of this McDonald’s as compared to others in the area. This location features a large dining area as well as 2 separate dining areas adjacent to the main lobby. It also houses a large assortment of games for the kids from arcade stand ups to claw machines. To top it off the main lobby is surrounded by an overhead train as well as a large glass containment running ovular around the center featuring a large train set which gives this location I truly unique feel. I guess the McThriller sign on the building is just that.
The place gets very busy due to it’s location but the service was quite fast and it’s nice to see the electronic numbering system above the registers on the screens as this helps people see when there order is ready in case you cant here the employee in the front. I was very impressed with this location and will definitely be back.
