It’s kind of hard to say with this place. Acne facials are amazing, but expensive. And everything is about upselling. Like that $ 30 cream you put on my face is going to really help… costs you 5¢ probably… Same thing with IPL and fraxel. Hard upsell and the treatment did NOTHING. And trust me, you can tell when fraxel has been done. The owner complains about Groupon prices… don’t complain if you use then, just not professional. Irene is the best, I don’t like the other girls, but Irene does a good facial and she’s very sweet.

Nice ladies, nice experience

This was my second time coming here with a Groupon for an IPL. They didn’t have my appointment down because they explained that on days they are closed (which are Fridays to Sundays!), their phone lines get forwarded to the Irvine location. However, when you call, the person who answers does not clarify this, so I assumed I was speaking with someone at the Buena Park location. Anyway, they still saw me regardless.
I felt like the IPL was not through. If you want a second pass done, they charge you extra, so I declined. I felt like the first pass was not thorough at all, and only certain spots on my face were zapped rather than my whole face. The actual laser process probably took five minutes since it wasn’t as thorough as some other places I have been. I didn’t see any brown spots rise to the surface at all, but since I have done it several times in the last, I was told this would happen. However. The laser was prob also on a very low setting since it did not hurt at all. Usually, it hurts more with higher settings. Hey, no pain no gain! Anyway, I won’t buy a Groupon again since it wasn’t worth it, even for $ 69. My friend who went twice said they did a very hard sell with her the first time. I was glad they did not do that with me.
