In-N-Out Burger

when I say ‘late’, I’m talking about the 11pm-​1am shift. My personal schedule has changed recently. I’ve gotten off of work tired, cranky, n ultimately hungry in the past few weeks.
During the day, this location never disappoints. HOWEVER, once the sun goes down, something must go wrong here. One day, my burger is perfect. Another, my burger is cold. One day, my fries are fresh n piping hot. A few nights ago– they were unbleivably salty. Tonight, they were cold, dry, n crispy– I actually choked on my fries tonight. I couldn’t even finish my food. Not cool. It was just bad enough where I felt I needed to speak up about this inadequacy and obvious inconsistency.
This location’s night crew needs to get their act straight. This is the 3^rd night in a row I haven’t finished my food, and believe me, I’ve been to this location more times than I can count.
I’ve eaten here 4 out of the last 7 days. Nearly the same order each time. None of my orders have been consistent. I certainly hope things improve.

Worst drive thru line ever! Blocks a street entrance entirely. You have to block an entire lane of traffic just to wait in line.

So felt like having some poke looked this place up on Unilocal and it turned out to be really good. Nice variety of ingredients to choose from. Staff knowledgable about what sauces mix with different ingredients. I relied on them to help me create a great tasting poke bowl. Thanks to the staff there I definitely over ate because everything looked and tasted great. I don’t regret the over stuffed belly. The line got bigger after I arrived which is understandable from the great tasting food & knowledgable staff. Definitely going to come back and have some of their other food here.

Went to el pollo loco in the same strip mall, threw the food out it was so bad and was saved by a nice burger and fries. Nothing beats a good burger and fresh potato fries.

I ordered a number one animal and protein style with a lemonade. I got home to find a regular cheeseburger, regular fries and yay! They got the lemonade right. This isn’t the first or even second time this has happened. I’m a server myself and understand mistakes happens, but when you’re on your 5^th in less than a year… changes need to be made. Thanks for taking my money and giving terrible customer service. Here’s a tip for future customers… put your car in park and check your bag.

Ahh you can’t go wrong with in n out! Got the double double with grilled onions and chopped chilies, no tomato. It was so good today. Also got the animal style fries with no salt. YUMMMM. It’s my treat once in a while. Enjoy the little things in life: burger and fries.

This location really needs to check the freshness of their items. My boyfriend got a double double and after taking a bite, found that the bread he bit into was all moldy.

So full! Love their taste! Their ingredients are so fresh. No other burger has this taste! It’s affordable and just lovely!

My family and I love In n out! The service here is awesome and they are quick and efficient with their orders. Someone is always outside taking orders when the line gets long in the drive through.

Long time ago when I used to get off at work around 11pm, I would come here and order 2 burgers and some fries to go. When I got home, I grabbed a beer and had a great time munching it all down in the wee hours of night.
Well, my metabolism has changed since and even though I don’t eat anything past 7pm nowadays, I still love coming here. It’s been over 25 years since I’ve been here first and believe it or not, it’s still exactly the same on the exterior and the interior.
I believe the only thing changed since then is the price and of course, it’s still quite reasonable. Always try to get Grilled Whole Onions, Crispy fries no salt because I can. The shake are still amazing and the service here are great for the most part. (I’ve had a little problem a long time ago and corporate made good on it.) I’m sure you can find something that caters to your taste by googling their secret menu.
Nothing new I can teach you readers except for maybe if you want to do the Drive Thru, it’s best to head North on Valley View and turn into the shop. Most of the time, that’s how the line is formed. As for parking in the lot, I do advise parking a little outside towards the crazy chicken. It’s easier to get out.
It says I have 20 or so check-​ins here. I doubt that. I’m sure I have been here at least 100x.

Had a great experience ordering at the drive through this afternoon! The employee taking my order (outside) was very polite and super nice! Ordering at the drive through does get quite boring when there’s a long line but I was glad I got to have a conversation with him! Also the line went fairly quick for how long it was!

Bought a regular hamburger and had a big chunk of cheese in it. I almost ate it and I have severe allergies to cheese. I complained to them about how this can get them in trouble and to be careful but…
I’m not going to trust this place ever again.
Avoid this In-​N-​Out if you don’t want cheese on your regular hamburger that’s advertised with no cheese.

I was craving a good burger and where else to come but here. I can never complain about eating here. Friday night. I was eating my burger when I noticed my burger wasn’t fully cooked. They immediately fix the situation and I was a happy camper.
I totally understand that they have certain hours, where they are super busy.

Great food. Love the cheeseburger combo meal with animal style French fries, and a vanilla milk shake. Animal style is grilled onions, cheese and thousand island all mixed up. Great food open late always a crowd and a good place to eat when it’s late and you should be in bed.

I asked them for XTRA chopped chilis… And got none. Not the first time this happened. Very disappointed bc I love me a good inNout burger…

I still love you In N Out, but come on… what happened to my animal fries? My husband said it looks like someone’s left overs lol I got home so excited :(

The food at In-​n-​Out is always consistent no matter which location you go to. I think having the hidden menu makes In-​n-​Out a little playful and more interesting for some reason. For example, animal style burger, animal style fries, or asking for mustard. Just some simple examples.
This location is so tiny! I couldn’t believe how small this In n Out is. It was packed from the moment you enter and hard to maneuver around to place an order, fill your drink or find a table.
It’s the nearest In n Out to Knotts Berry Farm, but I would avoid this place during peak times.

Well, I guess I learned my lesson that almost all In-​N-​Outs will be busy at all hours of the day. Thinking nothing of it, I went at around 3 PM with my family, in a rush to grab something quick before a wedding. Luckily I read the tip about service being faster inside instead of waiting in the long, winding drive-​thru line, but it was still quite a bit of the wait.
However, In-​N-​Out is always worth the wait, and I will always make a stop at one whenever I’m in California. The double double is so delicious and filling. I can’t say the same about the fries since they’re not my favorite, but they’re still fries so I’ll still eat them.

The drive-​thru at lunch time was snaked around the parking lot, but a young lady was doing a nice job to keep things moving along. The whole process was probably 7 – 8 cars deep and only took about 10 minutes. That’s not bad.
The 5-​star review is because the kitchen staff made up my meal perfectly. The fries weren’t overcooked, as happens from time to time at various locations. They were just a tiny bit soft, which is delightful.
The burgers were decorated with fresh lettuce and a proper amount of sauce.
Now that I think about it, I could have just knocked out this whole review by saying that this location did its job with proportion. They got the formula right. Sounds simple enough, but it fluctuates.
I would return to this location, for sure.
But of course, that would slow down my effort to eat at every single In N Out in the nation. It’s a process, but some day I’ll make it so.

In-​n-​out is definitely a So-​Cal favorite and everyone should try it if you get the chance!
The burgers here are always on point. I usually get their Double-​Double with grilled onions and chopped chilies. Their grilled onions on top of their 100% beef patties and cheese are so sweet and savory. The chilies as well give the burger a nice kick.
Their fries are also on point. The fries are first freshly cut using their fry cutter, then deep fried and seasoned to perfection. They may look a bit on the dry side, but once you eat one, you won’t be able to stop till they are all gone.
If you’re one of those people who can’t eat burgers without soda, their combos offer soda along with a burger and an order of fries. The combos are also fairly cheap and extremely worth! If you’re not in the mood for soda, but still want something to drink, they also have milkshakes that are off the hook. I like to get the Neapolitan shake, which is just a mix of their three flavors — strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.
The service at this particular In-​n-​Out is also extremely good. They are efficient and kind every time I come here. You definitely can’t go wrong here if your looking for a good burgers and fries joint.
