After living in Santa Barbara/Goleta for 18 years and enduring Rusty’s Pizza or large chain pizza places, we found Gino’s, just around the corner. The pizza was stacked high with toppings, and the owner suggested that we order a smaller pizza. Smaller? Hard to believe that the owner would suggest that, but he was right, the larger pizza would have been too much. He also suggested we split an antipasto. He was right again. With the smaller pizza, splitting the small antipasto, we STILL took food home. It was great pizza and we’ve ordered the antipasto to go, when I’ve made lasagna at home. We’ve never been disappointed.

So Buellton is well into the central coast no man’s land of California. I usually stop here to get gas or take a breather at the split soup pea place. This time, I really needed dinner. While Andersen’s is the most dominant business on billboards leading up to the area, you can’t really get full on the kitsch they serve there. We ventured just past Andersen’s and found Gino’s right around the corner. It’s no place fancy, but it gets the job done. I appreciated that they had several sandwich choices in addition to the pizza, and their large salads are cheap and satisfying and seem designed to feed an entire little league team. They also have a few arcade games on one end of the restaurant just to round out the classic pizzeria feel.

YUM. Coming from SF and being spoiled when it comes to food, this is BYFAR the best pizza in the valley, and most affordable. Ingredients are so fresh and there are lots of toppings. Finally — a decent pizza!

We had a celebration of life today for a good friend. We called Gino’s on a Sunday and asked them to cater our party for the following day. They did an amazing job! Everyone complimented us on the lasagna. The salad was amazing! Small town restraunt with a big city flavor. Thank you Gino’s team, amazing job! Cesar Lugo

I especially like eating at this pizza parlor. They make delicious food at an affordable rate. They serve a big salad with their dinners as well as garlic bread and dipping sauce. The portions are large so I can get food for lunch eat half and then have the rest for dinner. I recommend this place to anyone interested in eating Italian food.

Not impressed considering I only ordered a large pepperoni. Bread was really tough to bite into. Felt like I was eating a cooked reheated pizza. The upside was the beer, will definitely avoid the pizza next time in town.

Horrible experience! Pizza was really hard! Usually pizza gets hard after it gets cold, but this time even while it was fresh it was very tough. I also kept getting weird looks from the people at the cashier and the dude who brought the beer out, as if I had just stole a pizza and some beer which I had just paid for. Never bringing my family here again. Worst experience ever in a pizza place. Only good thing here was the beer, simple as that.

We were traveling through and looking for a place to watch the World Cup game. We came across Gino’s and loved it! The staff was so friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was delicious! We will definitely make a point of going there again next time we are driving through!

Left my purse here on my way to LA and the owner was so friendly and helpful while I was arranging for a courier to pick it up. He gave me his personal cell number and told me he could be there all night until my purse was picked up. Pick up went off without a hitch and my vacation was saved. I enjoyed the food and the customer service is unbelievable!

Had dinner last night at Gino’s. We have not eaten there in quite a while and wanted pizza and spaghetti. We almost did not go in because there was a bday party in process and it was so loud and all the kids were running all over the small place. We went in anyways and proceeded to place our order. Staff is nice and food was brought out in a timely manner. Let’s start with the salad, it is cold and crisp and very wet. When you finish there will be a pool of dressing/water on your plate but over all a good salad. The spaghetti is good. Good flavor and a nice portion and wet. Very soon after arriving to the table a pool of tomato water all around the plate. Good thing that the sauce is thick and most of the water stays on the plate. I have nothing good to say about the pizza. From the crust to the toppings I could have had the same flavor ordering from that 5.99 place. I don’t know how there was no flavor to this pizza but it was bland! No flavor in the meats(pepperoni and sausage), no flavor in the sauce and the crust was so hard on the bottom that you had a hard time biting through the pizza. Too bad because the pizza looked delicious just had no flavor. Gino’s is a nice little local place and your tastebuds could be different than mine. Go at lunch time for a lunch special and try them out for yourself.

This is our favorite pizza place and we’ll drive 20 minutes to get it. First off the staff and service is great. The guys are always nice and helpful. The pizza is so tasty and they don’t skimp on the toppings. The prices are so reasonable. Large pizza with two toppings for $ 20. Can’t beat that.

Pizza is average but better than your big chains. Crust is good. I ordered Margarita Pizza with thin crust which was tasty. Wings are very juicy and meat falls off the bone with perfect amount of sauce. This place is decent!

Here is the review, shush and go there now! If you’re near Buellton you have to drop by this is seriously the best Pizza I’ve had in a while. I got the Meat Lovers and they gave me what I was looking for. It was packed full of meat no fillers, get it with extra cheese oh man its so good. I would definitely recommend this place its really delicious, the prices are decent for this small town, and they deliver.

I went in and got the Geno’s special personal pizza, and OMG the pizza is AMAZING. It has a generous amount of toppings and the pizza was made fresh. The bred was nice and not to thick or thin but just right and the sauce was delicious. All the toppings came together and sang an opera of flavors in my tastebuds. Will definitely be back here again.

I’ve had far better pizza. Patricio’s in Orcutt makes this place an embarrassment. BTW, 2 out of the 5 game machines there did not function.

Ordered their pizza to take to Figueroa mountain brewing company. We had a gluten free pizza and a regular pizza and loved both. The regular had a soft chewy crust with the perfect ratio of cheese and ingredients. The gluten free pizza was also great. It tasted just like a regular pizza and the crust wasn’t super crunchy. I appreciated that the crust held together well without feeling like I was eating cardboard. Can’t comment on eating at the restaurant but people seemed helpful when we called

My first time here at Gino’s Pizza for lunch and wasn’t sure what to order. Asked the guy behind the counter and he suggested I go with the Torpedo Sandwich so I did. The sandwich came with Canadian Bacon, Salami, and Mortadella, Lettuce, tomato, Italian Dressing(which I love) mayo and mustard. The bread was lightly toasted. The sandwich came with a bag of chips and when I opened the bag it had very little in it. When I brought this to their attention he apologized and gave me two more bags of chips which I thought was cool. Overall I loved it. I will be back for that Torpedo!
