I couldn’t get into my normal salon for weeks and I had waited way too long between cuts, so I was desperate to get my hair done. Fiesta Salon has been in Brownsburg for years, so I figured they must be doing something right. I will start with what was good on my visit. The cut and service I got from the stylist(her name escapes me now) was great. She was very professional, had a friendly attitude and the cut was comparable to what I’d get from my normal stylist. Here are some things I didn’t like during my visit. The floor around the dryer chairs(yes, they still use those) was extremely dirty and dusty, as was the floor underneath all the stylists’ stations. I don’t think the floor had seen a mop in several weeks. As I was sitting in the chair getting my hair cut, my view to the left was of an empty room that a tanning bed once occupied that was dirty too. My view to the right was of the stylists’ break room with the door wide open. There were a couple stylists sitting back there eating lunch and talking on their phones, all the while staring out into the salon. It was very awkward as when you’re turned a certain way getting your hair cut, there aren’t many places you can turn your head to look. I kept wishing my stylist would hurry up with the cut so that I didn’t have to make awkward eye contact with the break room girls again. I might go back here if I’m in a pinch and need a hair cut right away. But I do hope the salon manager reads this review and makes a couple changes that would help with the overall atmosphere of the salon.
