Very very good. Searched online for a recommendation and found The Egg and I — was not disappointed. Had the Hunter Benedict. Super. Will come back here for sure! Service was great and coffee was great. Friendly staff. Clean. Love it. You can’t go wrong.

Absolutely delicious food, friendly service and excellent bottomless coffee. I loved that they leave the coffee carafe on the table so you can fill your cup without having to flag down a waitress. Would absolutely eat here again.

I’ve been here about 6 times. Love the food, the coffee & the service. It is a fantastic spot for morning meetings. It is quiet enough to get some work done & there’s enough room to relax. I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. I’ll be back.

The highlight of our Monday morning! The wife and I have dined here every Monday morning for the past few months, and every single experience was wonderful. Each dish(including specials) that I have tried has been great. Every dish I’ve repeated has greeted me with consistency. The menu has no shortage of delicious choices and the Staff is always kind. Also they have baskets of jams! The Egg & I is a restaurant to look forward to!

Their ranch potatoes are DELICIOUS. I could just eat them as a meal itself. Their seasonal dish they were offering at the time I went was the California Dreamin’ and it was so yummy. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, not to runny not to thick and was definitely light enough I could probably drink it as a soup. Great wait staff as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting in the area. Thanks y’all!

I’m a sucker for a good omelette! Whenever I get to go to a breakfast buffet, I run straight for the omellete station and request my usual… 3 eggs, spinach, onions, mushrooms, bacon, sausage, ham, and then cheese!!! Nothing compares to the hot-off-the-pan made-how-I-wanted-it omelettes! Until now!!! I order a FIVECHEESE omellette with ham!!! OHMYGOODNESS! YUMMMMM!!! I love this place… super friendly people, and the owner, Bridget Nigg, is an amazing, delightful person! Stop in for breakfast! And if there’s a little bit of a wait, STAY! It’s well worth it!

My weekend breakfast spot. The Colorado Jack Scramble will set you back $ 9.29 and comes with bacon or sausage, a side of green chile or salsa, and toast or English muffin. Lunch is also good; I love the sandwich menu. Service is friendly, fast, and attentive.(I eat here about once a week and have had just one bad experience and I think the waitress was brand new that time.). Get here by 8 a.m. and you can completely avoid the breakfast rush.

You’d think that if this place is called«The Egg & I» that they would actually use, you know, real eggs. I ordered just the regular French Toast breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. The FT was just okay and you can absoutley tell the eggs came out of a carton. The prices are not reflective of the quality at all even though they’re comparable to a Villiage Inn or an IHOP. Speaking of those two, I would strongly recommend going to one of those over the Egg & I.

Excellent breakfast place! It was so good, we went both days we were in Broomfield. We both had the Santa Fe Huevos and they were delicious. The green chili was very good. The coffee and service were the best. We had to wait on the second morning, but it was not long. I had the Belgian waffle and my companion had the Sante Fe Huevos again. They were very busy but we really didn’t have to wait too long for our food. It was just as wonderful as the first day.

A solid breakfast restaurant. I visited on a weekend and they were on a wait, but it only took about 15 minutes to get a table. The kitchen was slow that day but the server warned us, and others, repeatedly. Good kid’s menu selection. I liked that they had light choices for kids, including an egg white omelet and scrambled egg whites in a ham quesadilla. They did not skimp on the food at our visit. My mother-in-law’s coconut and pineapple pancakes(a special) had a ton of coconut and pineapple in them. They had a variety of coffee selections, which I missed, and I ended up with the house coffee, which was not so good. Make sure to check out what other coffee they have before you make a decision. It changes daily, apparently.

Delectable food. The Greek frittata was out of this world. The service was, however really slow and rather inattentive. I think the waitress actually forgot to put our order in. Upside? It was nice and hot when it finally did arrive and scrumptious!

I had a very nice breakfast here with a coworker on a recent business trip. I had the raspberry granola pancake, which was huge and tasty. Fast service(early weekday morning) and reasonable prices. I’ll come here again if I want a more hearty breakfast next time I’m in the area. If they added espresso drinks it would be perfect. This seems to be a decent sized chain, but it had more the vibe of a local diner.

Definitely not the fanciest restaurant, but the food is great. There is usually a wait on the weekends, but definitely worth it. The restaurant is in a shopping center and is easy to miss due to the small sign.

This place is awesome– the service is excellent but honestly, there isn’t a thing on the earth better than their breakfast burrito. The only thing that could make the egg and I better is if they gave you a backrub while you ate there.

Our new favorite breakfast spot. Love this place. Their waffles and pancakes are amazing. The blueberry compote was so delicious. The breakfast burrito is also very good. I’m not usually a fan a breakfast potatoes and prefer hashbrowns but the ranch potatoes here are one of new favorites. The staff here are all very friendly and the prices are spot on. Very nice, quiet and clean atmosphere.

Friendly staff. Artichoke Benedict was yummy. Tomato hollendaise sauce sauce was a good balance to the sour artichokes. They’re supposed to be like that. Plenty of choke so that’s good. The eggs were perfect and runny. My son ate half my plate. And we got fruit on the side. They even had a box of toys for the kids. Such a plus for a mom.

The egg and I is nothing to write home about. In my book, it is a step above Denny’s and the like, where you can expect to find reasonably priced breakfast basics. The menu is rather large, actually, but quite predictable, which can be nice if you are looking for something simple. I had their basic breakfast with my eggs over medium, bacon, hashbrowns and fruit. The potatoes had no runny whites, but were cooked on high enough heat that I needed my knife to saw off bites. I seriously dislike having to do that. The yolks were still runny, thankfully. The potatoes do not seem to be made in house and were probably my least favorite part of the meal. The bacon was cut medium, and done perfectly. The fruit bowl was decent. A lot of times you end up with lumps of tasteless melon and an errant grape, but not here. Our server was quite perfect, filling coffee, checking back, etc. I ordered a fountain coke in an attempt to ward off the waves of hangover nausea and was pleased when she brought be a carafe on the side for refills. Normally, I would think to myself, this is why America was so fat. But no, not that day. I was very, very thankful as I drank a days worth of calories. In summary, this is a decent place if you are looking for a halfway point between Boulder and Denver, but not somewhere I would otherwise frequent.
