This review is based on an order I placed exactly one week ago for my sons birthday party. I ordered $ 150 of pizza on Tuesday for a Wednesday party. I made it VERY clear that delivery had to be at 12:45(lots of hungry 8 year olds). The woman I spoke to assured me that was not a problem. At noon on the big day I called to make sure that the order was being prepared(my credit card had already been charged). Again, I was told that it would be there. The pizza did not arrive at 12:45. I called at 12:50 and was told that it would be there soon. 10 minutes later, now desperate I called again and was told that the pizza would be leaving the restaurant in 10 minutes and would be there in 15. No apology. No discount. Pizza arrived at 1:10. Kids barely had time to eat before the candles on the cake were lit and the party ended. The pizza was fine but NEVERAGAIN. Willaimsburg Pizza basically ruined the last 45 minutes of the party.

Just want to say thanks. I ordered a pizza at 3pm, it didn’t arrive, no one picked up the phone until 5:15. When asked what happened to my order, the incredibly rude woman who answered the phone said she doesn’t have a record of my order, even though she remembers me calling to ask if I could get a half white pie half regular pie. when I asked if I could speak to a manager, the woman refused to put anyone else on the phone. When I asked her for her name, she refused to give me her name, then hung up on me. I have never been so rudely disrespected by a restaurant, especially one my roommates and I order from 2 or 3 times a week from. I will be posting similar reviews on all forms of social media and food review web sites. Thank you, for losing a group of customers.

Pizza showed up(no joke) 16 minutes after ordering online from seamless — I checked the confirmation email for confirm timing. Absolutely crazy!!! Best thing ever after a few late night drinks. Bravo, Williamsburg Pizza, bravo…

EDIT They now stay open late and give accurate delivery times. The square Calabrese is one of the finest pizzas I have ever eaten in 35 years of living in NYC.

Years ago when this place first opened I gave them a 5 star review and gushed about how awesome their pizza is. I particularly talked up the calabrese. Seriously, go back and check it out… I was one of the first ever reviews. Fast forward to now, and someone needs to f*cking explain to me why when i order a calabrese on a round crust i’m told you won’t make it anymore. I’ve had this exact pie like 100 times. I have even Instagrammed it on several occasions with the hashtag from the box. Now when I order they act like I just ordered a pizza with angels wings and f*cking puppies on it or something, like they just don’t have the fortitude or technology to make it happen. Most of the time they make it anyway after i put up a fuss, but i just got off the phone now and they wouldn’t. They would not take my money for a pizza. What difference to you does it make what shape my f*cking crust is? Motherf*ckers I know what you’re capable of with pizza ingredients, and this qualifies. I shouldn’t have to attempt to negotiate over the phone with a manager every time and hear why you refuse to make a pizza that is literally on your goddamned menu. Seriously guys, go f*ck yourselves till you die, from a former loyal customer.

I love this pizza… if you are a fan of nice thin crispy slices this is the place! the slices do not droop when you hold them and they have an interesting variety of choices!

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I ordered a pizza pie half pepperoni and half regular. The young lady told me it would be 15 minutes, oh I said great be back in 15 minutes. So I go back in 15 minutes and the young lady tells me it would be out soon, ok I guess. I go back 6 minutes later I see the pizza guy prepping a pie that is exactly like I ordered, I ask the young lady is that mine? She says«yes». Wth! I asked for my money back I didn’t even get«I am sorry I forgot» or «sorry sir for wasting your time» They were more worried about omg who is gonna buy this pie now. Smh. Oh well never going back here horrible customer service.

I ordered in from this place. The lady on the phone was pretty nice. The pizza was good, it was huge and well priced for what you get. The delivery took a while but that’s understandable given that we ordered at midnight.

Best pizza in the area! I wouldn’t say best pizza I’ve ever had but it’s best by east Williamsburg. They’re open late and it never disappoints. I really like the vibes of an old school pizza shop on the corner. Classic

I admit that I love both the classic Chicago deep dish pizza(Lou Malnati’s) and the iconic, foldable, napkin-dabable New York slice. Williamsburg pizza is not the classic, late night slice sort of place, though I have certainly stopped in on my back from a night out. It is good, sometimes great(Grandma pie), pizza. I’ve tried the pizza from a few surrounding establishments and was disappointed – Williamsburg pizza has become my go-to spot in this neighborhood, and I am pleasantly surprised by the speed of their delivery.

Stopped in on a early weekday evening. Ordered the Grandma Slice to eat-in. It was fantastic. Place was clean, although had limited seating. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. Pizza came out hot and was absolutely delicious.

After loving this spot for some time now, I have to say I am so disappointed in what has happened. Their pizza just isn’t that great anymore. The Grandma pie is the only good pizza this place makes. Last time I ordered from them I got a pie with caramelized onions, bacon and ricotta. Sounds pretty good right? Boy did I make a mistake. There were so many onions it was crazy. They weren’t just on the pizza they were in the sauce and cheese! It was way too much. And then the bacon. Ugh. They must have never put bacon on pizza because this was not the way to do it. Instead of putting on little bits of crispy bacon they put quarter sized pieces that weren’t even crispy. This made the pizza incredibly greasy. I also ordered a salad and they ran out of the dressing but instead of calling me to ask what I’d like instead they just gave me a plain salad. Such a disappointment

Well, it turns out that the gluten free pizza that I raved about really was too good to be true. Ordered delivery from them a second time and received the small, cardboard-like gluten free disc-style crust that most places have, which means my first pizza was real pizza. No wonder I LOVED it the first time! Thankfully, I do not have Celiac disease or that could have been a disaster. Although I’m not a fan of the standard gluten free substitute crust that they used for the 2nd, correct order, the topping ingredients are high quality, which is why I gave it 2 stars.

The Grandma Slice! Why in all my life living in New York– I was born and raised in Manhattan. Have I never heard of this type of slice before? I love garlic and fresh mozzarella, plus the sauce in this slice. The pie will run you about 22 bucks but its worth it and its a good size. We had about 3 adults devour it and we were plenty full. I haven’t tried any other types they have but honestly I don’t need too– I will just be ordering the grandma slice everytime I go.

We had never tried Williamsburg Pizza until La Nonna closed down on Bedford, but it quickly became our go-to pizza spot! I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews here… our deliveries arrive on time, the pizza is hot and it’s always really good! Our favorite is the Grandma pie. The only issue we’ve ever had happened recently when our order was forgotten or lost. After waiting one hour and 40 minutes(when the wait time was supposed to be 45 min) we finally gave them a call to complain. Once WP figured out what went wrong, they apologized– were honest about the mistake– and immediately sent out another pizza that was complimentary. They also added a couple of sodas, a huge salad and two orders of garlic knots for free… all of which were delicious. Mistakes happen and WP more than made up for it. We love this place and will continue to order from them!

We ordered pizza at 8:30pm, it didn’t arrive until 10:30pm. The pizza and garlic knots were cold when they finally arrived. However we were so hungry that we’d started eating before we realized they’d brought us the wrong pizza. We called the driver back to let him know that he’d brought us the wrong pizza, and he told us he’d bring us the right pizza, but that we would need to tip him again – for his mistake, and after already tipping him 20%. We called the restaurant, but they never got back to us. The pizza is good, but the customer service SUCKS, so it’s not worth it.

Grandma Pie. GETIT. Delivery can be slow sometimes, but that pie is worth the wait. Add pepperoni if you are feeling a little wild.

I’ve had their pizza twice and I’m sort of on the fence about it. The first time I tried their classic pepperoni slice and a few slices of their grandma pie. I’m usually a fan of the traditional slice over all others, and the pepperoni was freakin delicious, but the grandma stole the show. The second time I ordered I got a traditional round pie half pepperoni, half mushrooms and onions. The crust was really, really chewy. Not crisp, not even soggy, but just tough to get my teeth through. Which was a shame, because everything else was delicious. The pepperoni half was the chewer side, the excess liquid from the vegetables seemed to help soften the other half, and that’s what I ate the most of. Their toppings are fresh and delicious, it’s probably my favorite thing about them. I will order again, I’m hoping the texture issue was just a fluke. Their garlic knots are also good. You get 4 knots and they are greasy, garlicky messes(in a good way), and come with a side of marinara.

Stopped in with my friend to grab a slice of pizza. Although on the pricier side the pizza was so good! And this is coming from a gal that wouldn’t put pizza in her top 5 favorite dishes. It might not even make top 10… I’m ok with it but don’t love it… I also love gourmet pizza more than a regular pizza… Toppings were creative and delicious! Wanted to go back and get to go but we forgot but we definitely regretted it! Had sausage and kale slice and mushroom truffle oil grandma slices. Yum!
