Vivid Nail & Spa

I just visited the place and wasn’t even greeted, I waited for a few minutes, there were two people getting their nails done and the owner didn’t even bother to ask me to sit or ask what I was there for or if they could even see me. I refuse to give my money to businesses that treat you like this. No thanks! and I will tell everyone I know in Bay Ridge not to visit this place! I would rate this place no stars!

Very efficient manicure. The owner, Cody, was very efficient without any chit chat or unnecessary communication. Not even eye contact. She took her time with my manicure, painstakingly making sure every detail was taken care of. A manicure which usually takes 15 – 20 minutes, took 45. I followed up with a 10 minute massage, which to my surprise was done by a man. His massage was fine but it took me a bit by shock– I didn’t feel all that comfortable with that arrangement. Had I known, I wouldn’t have consented to this, but felt awkward refusing. The cost for all this? About 33% more than the other nail salons on 3^rd Ave. ($ 8 manicure + $ 10 massage = $ 18 elsewhere vs $ 15 manicure + $ 12 massage = $ 27 here) this place would have 5 stars if it was a bit more competitive in price. Also, I was paying with a gift certificate, & wasn’t permitted to include the tip in the GC even though Cody is the owner. Tacky!

Honesty the best nail place in Bay ridge. After going to mimis for years I have noticed that the quality kept declining every visit to the point that my nails were left chipped and chapped. I ventured off to New Vivid on 3^rd and 93^rd and have to say it was the most relaxing experience. It will take you about an hour from start to finish so if you don’t want a mass production experience to get your nails done in 20 minutes don’t bother comibf. I promise your mails will look the best they have looked here. They are gently with the cuticles and really clean up your nails nicely. Come here for a mani pedi and enjoy the result.

Finally a place where I can enjoy a relaxing experience in a clean and professional environment. Vivid Nails is a very cute nail salon with soothing music playing, beautiful jewelry along the walls, and there are 4 manicure and pedicure stations respectively. They have all the services you would imagine. They all do an excellent job there. Bay Ridge needed a new fresh place that didn’t make you feel like you were in a mill and with all the staff yelling at each other.
