Uncle Vic’s Pizzeria

Place sucks! Pizza taste bad and their service is horrible. They would’nt even make a specific pizza we wanted because they were too lazy to do it. smh, The guy just said no we not gonna do it with an attitude for no reason. Not cool at all.

This place has decent pizza. I went here after finding out that my favorite spot, Pizza di Napoli, on the next block was closed on Sundays. Here’s the thing about the other reviews, if you go to a place on the Bushwick border, you can’t expect that you’re going to be walking into a gentrified restaurant. You should expect to be walking into a Fatburger in Inglewood. When you put things into context, everything seems much better.
Aside from the idiotic payment system (you have to go to a different place to pay separated from the food), retarded cash register guy (if you’re not buying a $ 1 slice, prepare to pay different amounts for the same food each time you go in), ghetto and loud (really one in the same) restaurant and crowded seating area, the pizza really isn’t all that bad.
Overall, I probably won’t be going back here, because if I want a loud pizza restaurant, I’d rather the noise be coming from an Italian guy who’s yucking it up with the customers than a bunch of ethnics, but for a one time thing, really not the worse pizza I’ve ever had.

Never been here, but I see they are buying Unilocal ads, putting themselves on the top of the pile.
1 star, slammed in reviews, and they still call themselves «The best pizza in Brooklyn» Do yourself a favor and move the F out of bushwick.

It’s pretty ghetto when you walk in and the owner or manager or whatever is having a screaming match with someone. A customer? A disgruntled worker? I don’t know and i don’t really care.
This is the second time I have attempted to eat here and have walked out. Last time a creepy ass cashier leered at me and seemed appalled when I asked them if they had cold heros.
I never write reviews when I haven’t eaten at a place but I would stay away from this place.

I ordered From Uncle Vic’s Pizzeria for the first and last time today. A friend of mine told me that they had decent pizza, so I decided to give it a try. I placed the order and an hour later, I was still waiting for delivery. The delivery driver was hopelessly lost and called me twice for directions, even though the restaurant is less than a mile from my home, and is only one street over. The driver was extremely unprofessional in the fact that he kept calling me «baby» over the phone. When the driver finally arrived, he was more than a half hour late. By that time, I felt uncomfortable going to the door alone, so I had to take my boyfriend with me. When I went to the door to get my order, the delivery man handed my food to me and said I was all set. Finally, my family could eat dinner.
When I took my order inside, I discovered that the pizza and beef patties that I had ordered were stone cold. Very disappointing. Instead of calling to complain, I decided to just eat the pizza the way it was. I didn’t want to chance another encounter with the creepy delivery man. As we settled down to eat the delivery driver called my phone again, and asked me to come to the door to sign the delivery receipt, even though the order was already paid for and he had told me I was all set. I figured I would go by myself and just sign the receipt to get back to my family who were already eating. The delivery man insisted on holding the receipt, so I signed in his hand. When I turned to leave he said «Thank you. You’re the best, baby.» I was so creeped out.
Back to the food. The food arrived cold and soggy. The pizza itself was nothing to brag about. The cheese to sauce ratio was perfect but the crust was very spongy and kind of tasted like floury cardboard. The pizza was way under seasoned. The beef patties would have been perfect if they had arrived hot and crisp, but sadly they were cold and soggy too. Overall, my first impression of Uncle Vic’s Pizzeria is not very good. I had high hopes for this fairly new place as well. Too bad they failed to deliver hot food within a reasonable time frame. And it’s even worse that they didn’t train their staff to be polite. What a shame.

My order was super late and the dough of their pizza was just … meh. Whole order was just ‘meh.’ Maybe a bad day? Getting bad pizza in Brooklyn is just… confusing.
