It’s officially closed as of this past weekend due to financial difficulties. I’m sad to see this place is no more.

Best service I’ve ever had in Brooklyn. Don’t know if the guy was owner, or waiter, but the dude was seriously very accomodating, friendly, and helpful. Top notch. Food was delicious, and reasonably priced. Went with friends, and all of their omelettes, pancakes, and benedicts were yummy. I had the steak and eggs. I’d probably try something new next time – the steak was chewy for the most part. It’s a skirt steak, but I don’t recall having it that chewy before. Flavor’s there though. I hate it that all the business’s going down to 4th ave somewhere, where it’s turning somewhat hippy in my opinion. This spot was cute and chill. Would come again soon!

A great local spot without all the usual brunch hoopla. Casual ambiance/décor, with about 6 tables, and great service. Menu has a lot of variety. The Eggs benedict here were perfect, and the home fries were some of the best i had(i usually don’t like home fries at all) Coffee was good, drank about 6 cups Everyone in our group loved what they got, so seems like you can’t go wrong here. Will be back for more

The layout of this place can be confusing — came on a busy Sunday during brunch hours but the wait wasn’t too crazy, like 10 – 15 minutes. The restaurant is split between take out which is on the front left side, and the seating dine in area which is to the back. However there is no greeters, and it’s hard to distinguish who is waiting for a table, or waiting for take out. Word of advice: Communicate to the people in front of you when you walk in, or wait to speak to the staff at the take out area Price: The price is generally $ 8 – 16 for a place, and comes with free coffee. The brunch menu is intensive, and ranges from buttermilk buttered pancakes to steak and full on half grilled chicken(which I ordered.) Food: LIPSMACKINGGOOD! For those of you that order the half chicken, be warned it takes a while to cook so you will end up waiting 30mins for your food. Order something else if you’re feeling ravenous, or share an appetizer. The foo is really well season and cooked with perfection, my potato was perfectly butter and so was the spinach. It reminds me a lot of comfort good, which it is. What isn’t comforting about brunch? Hehe :) Service: Eh. There was only two wait staff, and like I said earlier the design of the restaurant is slightly weird and the way it runs. There is no greeter when we came in, or maybe because it was busy. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a bus boy so the waiters do everything which delays service for customers. But generally the waiter were very courteous and comes by occasionally once or twice to ask if everything is ok in case you need something. Décor: This place doesn’t need a renovation, it is not gentrified and reminds me of a mom and pops restaurant with it’s diner/coffee shop feel. I can imagine locals taking their families and kids here which I did see in the crowd. However, they really need to change the system and spacing of the place because it can get CRAMP to the point where it affects the dining experience.

Went there with my families for lunch today. It wasn’t packed when we get there today. Its a hidden gem in Dyker Heights. If I didn’t find it in Unilocal,I wouldn’t know they have table service inside. It looks more like a bagel shop outside. The service was excellent. One of the waiters asked if my kids want to watch cartoon channel.(Of course they do) We had chocolate chip pancakes, eggs benedict, waffles and baby back ribs. Everything was delicious. I’m so glad that I found this place. Will go back again very soon. P. S. cash only

Finally came here for brunch as this was one of the many brunch places i have bookmarked on Unilocal. My bf had the eggs benedict and i had the frosted flakes french toast. Both were delicious. The customer service was alright. We particular liked our waiter becos he was friendly and very attentive. There was another waiter who took away our plate without asking. My bf was actually sharing some of my food so he still wanted his plate. That caught us by surprise cos usually waiters would ask us if its ok to take the plates away. Seatings are limited. About 4 – 5 tables. They also have cold cuts sold by lbs. Overall, food and service was 4 stars. Would come back to try other items.

Came here for brunch with some friends and had a great time! We got a table right away and the waiters were really entertaining! Even though it was busy, the waiters were really attentive and made sure we enjoyed our meal there. I had the steak & eggs which came with home fries and it was pretty good. It was nothing out of the ordinary though. It was a very big portion for a reasonable price. This place is conveniently located to me and would definitely come back again to try the other items on the menu.

This is my 2nd time actually trying the food at Theresa’s place. The first time was via delivery, which was a disaster! I ordered buttermilk pancakes & eggs Benedict(extremely oily & bread was burnt) I told myself I would never order from there again! Although today,(Easter Sunday) my sister wanted eggs Benedict, & the only place near us that served Benedict was this place, so I decided to give it another try. We ordered ice latte, banana & blueberry pancakes, eggs Benedict, & Theresa’s burger. Everything was very satisfying and fulfilling! I was totally wrong about this place, & will definitely return for brunch! Service was great, very attentive and helpful. Our server(s) were full of energy and very hilarious! Lol Btw, I am not a huge fan of pancakes, but their pancakes are EVERYTHING! Do yourself a favor and add fruits!

This place has got to be the greatest hidden gem I discovered for brunch in my neighborhood. Extremely reasonably priced for amazing food. I had the cornflake crusted French toast and it was nothing short of amazing. Crunchy on the outside and stuffed with fresh bananas with syrup and whip cream on the side. I HIGHLY recommend it since it’s probably the best French toast I’ve ever had. The table next to me ordered a round of burgers and it looked and smelled appetizing. Will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu.

I never knew this restaurant was in my neighborhood until I looked on Unilocal. Was in the mood for some diner food but didn’t want to go the local diner. I’ve been here about 4x in the past 3 months. My fave item to get is the fried chicken w/the iceberg lettuce salad. It comes w/blue cheese, bacon, fried chicken, big chunk of lettuce and some homemade dressing. The place is pretty small though and sometime the wait can be long. But it is worth the wait.

Came here with a couple of friends for brunch last weekend and it was unexpectedly great! We walked in and it really looked more like a deli for to-go style breakfasts(bagels, muffins, etc.). While with limited seating, this place really serves up some good breakfast dishes. The menu isn’t too long and ranges from breakfast to brunch to more lunch type dishes, so you have your pick of sweet or savory. I got an egg white omelette with spinach and it was perfectly cooked, not dry at all. Our friends got the banana pancakes and eggs benedict and my boyfriend got the steak. Service was nice, and quick. Would try this again!

I came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon with a friend. From the outside, it looks like a small diner and there are only a handful of tables inside. Luckily, we did not have to wait for a table and were seated immediately. I was not sure what to expect, but my friend assured me the food was delicious. The brunch menu is fairly expansive and portions are huge. I ordered the bacon, egg, and mozzarella quesadilla and I could not finish it. The berry salad we ordered was fresh. We sat near the kitchen, and every time the waiters came out with food for other tables, my friend and I were drooling because everything looked so delicious. I am definitely coming back to try other items on their brunch menu. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable(vs. having brunch in the city). I like the fact that this place is a small mom and pop restaurant and there is no pretentiousness(vs. having brunch in the city).

We will be regulars for sure! The quality of the food is A#1. Omar the chef came out and was very personal able with us. The arugula salad was fantastic! The favors were amazing. If I wasn’t in the mood for a burger I definitely would have tried something from the dinner menu. The burger was perfect. It was on a brioche roll with this light hint of rosemary from a butter that is on roll. Good quality meat and the medium rare I like! We will return!!!

I recently discovered this place through Unilocal and am very confused why I have never been here. The food is so good! I came in for lunch and got the chicken in rye bread, it was yummy in my tummy. We also go the cheese balls which I also enjoyed. My bf got a burger(don’t remember the exact name) and house salad. He was very happy with his order and I was surprised because he really liked the salad even when he is not a salad person. Good service, great food, homey atmosphere, and it’s around my neighborhood, can’t say anything else other than that I would be back.

The food sounds better and looks better than it tastes. The reason why I’m giving it a 4 star is because of my experience. During the busy brunch time, I held up a large table for 7 by myself for 20 minutes because of my tardy friends. The waitress was extremely friendly about it and the cappuccino I had while I was waiting was delicious. I ordered the corn flake crusted French toast. The corn flake tasted stale so it wasn’t the best dish due to the texture. The rice balls we had to share was good. Saucy and cheesy. But it wasn’t hot enough. egg Benedict is with bacon and the side of home fries(potato) was not crispy. It seems like it was left out for a while. The waitress forgot my friends oj and sides. But everything was cheap! $ 56 for a party of 7

Sometimes, you find truly amazing food in place you least expected. I admit, I judged book by it’s cover. How very wrong of me! It’s a simple place, reminded me of a deli somewhat, simple décor, easy-going atmosphere. But the food that comes out of their kitchen in nothing less than five-star, rave-worthy masterpieces. From presentation to taste, it’s all extraordinary. Truly homemade, and delicious to very last bite. I had seared scallops with homemade gnocchi — those gnocchi was best ones I ever ate. Deserts are outstanding. Chocolate molten cake was more of the soufflé, imo, but regardless, it was yummmmyyy! Homemade vanilla ice cream that accompanied it was perfect pairing. Chef and staff very friendly and welcoming. Theresa’s place deserves all the raves and some more!
