I love this restaurant. The service is great and the menu is absolutely incredible. I came one Sunday for brunch and was so undecided because everything sounded so good. I settled for the crabcake sandwich with fries and was not disappointed. I’m having the rigatoni special for dinner and its amazing. I’m so happy this place is around the corner from my apartment.

A GARAGETHATBECAME A RESTAURANT Located at 110 Bedford Avenue, in Williamsburg, the place is a former garage that was transformed into this neighborhood pub style restaurant. The weather was great today, so we decided to sit outside! It’s a perfect place for a lunch, brunch or dinner, specially now during the Summer time! This is what we ate, and loved: Avocado Toast with charred sourdough, avocado, lime & sea salt, Crispy Brussels Sprouts with dashi soy, toasted sesame oil, Split Pea soup was delicious and a salad with cherry tomatoes, onions and romaine. All very very tasty! If you go there at night, try their hand crafted cocktails! The bar is beautiful and the décor super rustic, the way we like it. I love this place. Great low key brunch spot. Staff is friendly and always recognizes us. Delivery is also awesome. Food typically arrives earlier than estimated and show up piping hot! Grilled cheese and tomato soup is freaking amazing! One of my favorite places in Williamsburg for sure.

Very nice place to have a date for even a group of people to have dinner or even a drink or two. My friends had a burger with bacon and a salmon burger. These meals both came with fries. Both enjoyed what they got. All I had was sweet potato fries as I really wasn’t really hungry. The fries were amazing I have to say. We also ordered a bottle of wine which the waiter was very helpful and professional in serving our bottle. Great experience, great service, great atmosphere. Will keep this place in mind for another time.

The Bedford Back Bar is excellent in every way! It’s beautiful, dark, unpretentious, and very classy. The staff is amazingly accommodating, drinks are good and snacks are tasty. I recently threw a 40th birthday party in the bar and I’ve never dealt with a more professional, competent and kind group of people. I looked all over the city for the perfect location for a group of 35 and choosing the Bedford was the best decision. If you are planning a large party or just stopping by for a drink, I cannot recommend highly enough.

I love this spot. Super convenient, great crowd & staff, and the food is amazing. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The risotto balls, pork shoulder, brussel sprouts, french toast balls, and the wine options are great too.

Gorgeous restaurant — we had drinks and garlic knots. The Pecan Old Fashion is innovative and fresh — well done.

I love the cozy ambiance of this place. Bar, Resto and a lounge at back set up. A place to check out definitely if you want to experience the soul of Williamsberg in Brooklyn. I like the food and their selection of wine. If you are in a small group and you want to chat over a platter of tapas, try the bar at the back. They play chill music too and have I house djs at times. I’m just not sure what days. If you’re on a date, the from restaurant would be perfect for you. Go! Check this place out!

I live in the neighborhood so this is a very convenient restaurant for me to pop in to. It’s great that they change up the menu, love going there and trying new things. I really enjoy their taste, it’s generally sour, zesty, and flavorful. Never a boring taste. The only downside is their service, or else they’ll definitely have my 5 star. The waiters does not seem to be professionally trained, multiple times my roommate and I disliked the service.

We stumbled upon The Bedford while wandering around Williamsburg around prime brunch hour trying to find a place that did not have a 1 hour + wait. We were immediately seated at the bar. Service was top notch: Kind, attentive waitstaff and the food was brought out quickly. The ambience was ordinary but nevertheless warm and pleasing. I ordered the truffle egg toast which was tasty, though my friend thought it was a little too salty. She ordered the pulled pork hash which was even more delicious. Prices were reasonable too. Lacking 1 star mostly because the restroom was unkempt. The sink was clogged, they were out of paper towels, and overall the restroom could have been much tidier. I notified a waitress as soon as I came out and they addressed the issue professionally and promptly.

Food is consistently good. Burger and fries are very good. If we don’t order the burger, we’ll almost always get a sider order of fries because they’re so delicious(even though they’re probably frozen… but who’s got time to deep fry stuff anyways). The pork shank will feed you for days. I wouldn’t come here for the cocktails, but the beer and wine are usually fine choices. I’ve had a flat beer, but they happily exchanged it.

The Bedford is a charming little restaurant on the corner of Bedford, walking distance to The Brooklyn Brewery. We stopped in to grab a quick bite before our brewery tour and were quickly seated, but there was nothing quick about the rest of our dining experience here. First, we were seated outside on their patio which resembles more of a narrow hallway. We sat all the way in the pack, careful to not bump into any one or their food, but had to be quickly relocated due to a hornet that was flying around our seating area. Turns out there was a thriving hornets nest right where we were sitting. Although we brought it to the staff’s attention, they still went ahead and seated another group of people near that nest. Their solution — just move the seats up a bit more so that the hornets wouldn’t be tempted to attack. Once settled inside we had to wait another 30 minutes to even get our drink order. All we needed were water, coffee, a Coca Cola and two bloody maries. We got our food well before our drink order and after plenty of reminders to the staff. The staff seemed to have a been experiencing an internal dispute as we witnessed some staff members squabbling a bit by the bar. I’m not sure what was going on but my friends and I could all tell it was affecting their service. After waiting a bit longer for our drinks, we were all ready to eat. I ordered the avocado toast with lime, salt and topped with pickled onions($ 8). It was a delicious and healthy snack to get me through the rest of the day. My fiancé ordered the salmon eggs benedict($ 16), which although good, it was too pricey for the portion he received. My two slices of avocado toasted were a heartier serving that his benedict. My friend ordered the sriracha adult grilled cheese with tomato soup. She wasn’t too happy but I got to give it a try(because why not, I’m a growing girl lol). I found the tomato soup to be perfectly creamy and heavy the way tomato soup should be served. The sriracha wasn’t too overwhelming, just a perfect touch of spice. And speaking of which, the bloody maries were also very good. They use a house blend which had just enough kick to it — a very refreshing take on the usual Zing Zang bloody mary mix I’m used to receiving. Overall it was a good experience. The staff was nice and the food was good, but the service was slow and they should have kept their troubles in the back so as to not bring attention to themselves.

We wandered into this place looking for a quick bite before heading to 90s fest. The hostesses seemed rather unorganized as we were told multiple times by multiple people that someone will be right with us. After about 15 minutes, we proceeded to sit down and order drinks and food. The drinks took about 15 minutes. I ordered some spicy grapefruit cocktail that was very unique and absolutely delicious. Another 20 minutes later the food finally arrived. I ordered a burger cooked medium-rare and it was done perfectly. While this was one of the best burgers I’ve had in awhile, the meat tended to fall apart as soon as it was picked up. It was served with fries seasoned with Old Bay seasoning which were also delicious. We learned that one of the staff members called out early that morning which is why the service was not as good as it should be. I’d definitely consider going back based on the quality of the food, assuming they are fully staffed next time.

Yes, j’adore ça, on y va !

Stumbled on this place on the way to a show at the Bowl on the 5th. Very friendly staff, very accommodating. The dark n’ stormy was perfectly fine, as was whatever the jalapeño cocktail they were serving had. Meatballs — run of the mill meatballs, with plenty of sauce for mopping. The sauce was nothing special, but I would have no problem ordering this again Avocado Toast — not much avocado, but nicely whipped and spreadable… somewhat tangy, possibly some mayo and vinegar added? Not going to lie — I used it as a dipping substrate for the meatballs Risotto — this was the special of the day, and it was more than adequate for a risotto con funghi dish. Basically, a nice stop if you are on your way somewhere and need a well-priced, very pleasant meal or a quick drink. Cannot attest to how it might get during peak dining hours, as I was there around 7.

Wasn’t too happy with the place at all – went here for Brunch with a couple of friends– It was actually the only place on Bedford that didn’t have an hour or longer wait time – we were automatically seated. That should have been an died give away from the start. The staff was very pleasant I give them that – But that is it. The service was very slow and even waiting for a beer took 10 – 13 mins; I figured maybe it was our table since we were in the upper– section when you walk in but I looked around and it was everyone. The food was OK – nothing to to special – The fires where amazing!(Bay ones) But I will say not going back – the place didn’t make an impression on me in the beginning and to top it off at the end we receive our check and they added 20% gratuity and I understand if we have a 1 Year old baby with us but the child was 4 months – She just slept in the stroller so that was very rude of the Manager to do! Not going back – Minus star for the service and for the bill.

Sunday brunch — great vibe, interesting twists on the traditional breakfast items. Had the eggs Benedict but instead of parma ham I got moist meatballs instead — was divine. Portions are on the slightly smaller side but its great quality.
