Tacos as tacos should be. Grab 4 – 5 and call it dinner. Family business with all the kids pitching in. I like that.

I ordered delivery tonight and it was a pretty poor and disappointing experience. I only gave it 2 stars because the delivery was on time. So I ordered the enchiladas with green sauce which the menu says comes with beans and rice along with the chips and salsa. Let’s start with the chips and salsa. The chips were ok but the salsa was beyond spicy and extremely watered down. It also had this very bitter taste to it. Now the enchiladas… the only word I can use to describe them is YUCK! First of all there was the green sauce and then there was this pesto looking stuff that had very little taste but was greasy greasy greasy. The green sauce itself was so spicy that I could not enjoy it. It was more than a hint, it was a full on SLAP of heat on my tongue and I really didn’t like it. There was definitely more tortilla then there was chicken. I have a stomach ache and bad heartburn from this meal. Needless to say, I’ll never order from here again!

I’ve been on the hunt for authentic chorizo tacos for a while.
Let me immediately take that back: I have done no hunting for chorizo tacos. I love chorizo tacos, but I have not sought them out since moving to Bushwick. But Saturday afternoon, it was beautiful, and I was hungover. I wanted chorizo tacos in the park, and nothing else would do.
I found Taqueria Izucar on Unilocal,and plugged in an order for pick-​up. Tacos were $ 1.50 each, so I got five. I’ve got a disgusting appetite, and I’m quite proud of it.
Strolled down Myrtle Ave and into the cereal box-​sized restaurant. I was greeted with grins all around, and squeezed between the lunchtime regulars to pick up my order.
Lunch secured, I headed to said park, and had a delightfully authentic experience: tortillas double-​wrapped (let’s not go there, it’s Monday), with plenty of cilantro. Nice. This may be my weekend in-​the-​park-​grub staple.

I love Mexican food so I read the reviews I finaly ordered for a delivery in Sunday… which was a bad decision! They delivered my food more than an hour after I placed the order! (When they say that in 20−30min you’ll get delivered!) I ate the quesadillas which was decent but the enchiladas was BAD!!! I had one bite and put the rest in the trash and I hate to waste food but it wasnt good at all!
I don’t recommand this place!

Best taco menu in the area. As far as delivery goes couldn’t be any happier. Perfect level of taste and spice. Simple, but delicious. Nothing fancy, but perfect for comfort food. Only complaint is you have to make a 13 dollar min order, but I can eat a lot of tacos!

I order from here weekly for fresh, simple, and tasty Mexican.
Nachos con carne are fantastic with fresh, crispy tortilla chips and plenty of toppings like pickled jalapeños, cheese, veggies, and steak.
The guacamole is always lime-​tastic with big chunks of white onion, avocado, and tomato.
The suadero taco is my fave for an out of the ordinary salty flavor burst, but the tinga, carnitas, and tongue are also great.
The delivery folks are quick and friendly, been ordering from here since September!

The food wasnt bad. I really liked the nachos with steak, the chips stayed crunchy even though they were delivered. The burrito was a little underwhelming. My advice: great for deliver get the nachos or tacos skip the burrito.

Best taco I’ve had since I left California (8 years ago).

Suadero tacos are the best thing on the planet. Carnitas are a close second. I come here at least once a week, carve out a tiny amount of counter space for myself, and eagerly cram six tacos in my face in about 30 seconds flat, and they are always the happiest 30 seconds of my day.
Customer service is great, food is affordable and delicious — there is no reason why you shouldn’t be heading over there right now.

Awesome tacos! Even more awesome for $ 1.50 a taco! What a steal! I’ve been going here the past three days and I highly recommend tacos al pastor. Nachos were okay…70% chance I’d get them again but tacos are definitely their signature.

Muuuyyyyy rica la comida! Visité el local varias veces y probé los batidos, los tacos, y una agua fresca. Todo estuvo bueno. Se recomienda una comida mexicana autentica.

Even though they gave me a horrible torta I still decided to go back and try the tacos since my husband kept telling me that they are to die for, and I’m soo happy I did! Those tacos are AMAZING, never had tacos this good before! Thank you guys. please don’t ever change your tacos recipe!!!

Taqueria Izucar is my escape from my terrible life. Whenever I feel sad, which is all the time (don’t worry, I’m ok), I get three tacos al pastor from Taqueria Izucar. It lifts me from the infinite, black, whirlpool of lacrimosity which comprises my existence.
If I there were a powerful emerald atop Mount McKinley that promised to imbue me, in perpetuity, with the catharsis I experience when consuming a taco al pastor from Taqueria Izucar, I would make it my conquest.
I’m sorry if this review depresses anyone. I know my sadness sometimes rubs off and that’s why I try to keep to myself, but if you are sad like me I recommend you try these tacos no matter where you are in the world.

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Bushwick! Tacos are tiny, but a steal at $ 1.50-$ 3 each. Everyone says get the suadero (which is delicious), but our favorite was the arabe.
We also tried the huaraches with veal flank ($ 4.50), and the chicken enchiladas with red sauce ($ 10). DEAR GOD, the enchiladas were spicy! Not sure what I was expecting, but it took plenty of milk and over an hour for my mouth to cool down. Came with a huge portion, but be careful if you’re sensitive to spicy foods.
Delivery was also fast!

Small tacos but that suadero taco (veal flank) is legitimately DELICIOUS. Long braised so it’s super tender and somewhat fatty, it’s packed with flavor. For $ 1.50, I think it’s a great deal.
The al pastor was sliced in thin strips and rather dry but still tasty. Carne enchilada taco came with long strings of onion – good, too but could’ve used a tad more meat. Was told that the tinga taco was really good, too, but I don’t know if I’ll ever try it when I can just order several of the suadero ones! I would go here for those alone and right now, I’m regretting I didn’t get a few more…
Service was friendly and as others have said, it’s a tiny storefront. Tacos are super cheap at $ 1.50−1.75 each but they’re a tad smaller than ones you’ll get elsewhere.

I need to actually eat here in person because I’m pretty sure the tacos will be twice as good. Which is saying a lot because the tacos I’ve been ordering for delivery (through
) are already 5 stars. Fast delivery, even though the kid delivering the tacos comes on a regular bike, and not a scooter.
They throw in red and green salsa depending on the amount you order, and they’re both mouth watering good and spicy to boot. Sometimes they only give one, so if you want a specific kind of both, you probably just have to ask.
