Good food, good prices, pretty quick delivery. Plus, who gives chips with guac and salsa on the side with their burrito for free anymore? Have ordered a few times and always the same experience. Definitely recommend if you live in the area.

Awesome little place for some delicious Mexican food. Their burritos are absolutely incredible and massively portioned. I’m mildly in love

Delivery service here was really inefficient! Don’t know if it’s because of the aftermath of the snow storm or if this is a usual thing. Once the food did arrive it was decent. Not the best Mexican food I’ve had, since I’m coming from California. For NY it was fine.

La Mesita is hands down the best Mexican food you can get in Bushwick. You can never go wrong the the chicken tinga burrito, but you can never go wrong w anything bc this is the BEST around. Not only is the food amazing and flavorful, but they are also incredible with deliveries. I just got my food in less than 20 minutes! The guac is out of this world, and always come w burritos! Thank you for the continuing amazing experience!

I am thrilled about the food here! I’ve finally found a magnificent delivery spot in my neighborhood. I got the Chile Relleno for $ 10(1 big guy) and the Kindney Cleansing Juice(broccoli, spinach, cucumber, and celery) for $ 6.* I barely finished the one dish and will have to save the beans from the dish and the juice for tomorrow. Great bang for your buck! *Price is pre-tax and tip; $ 20 total including.

Local Mexican spot has all the great qualities for a regular take out option. Quality ingredients, good price and reliable delivery service. The red sauce is great and has a real chipotle flavor — I prefer my green sauce mixed with avocado and this sauce is just a mild salsa verde. Had the carne enchilada burrito — which comes with melted cheddar on top — and the portion/quality was great. Would definitely order again.

The food is great, especially the tinga burrito, and they follow special food requests perfectly. However, they took over two hours to deliver our food to us, by which time we had bought something else. Calls to the restaurant were met with«5 minutes», while the woman on the phone had obviously no idea when our delivery person would arrive. I’d rather her be honest than keep stringing us along until we’re forced to go somewhere else. I’m not getting delivery from here again.

I really love La Mesita. I usually order delivery. I think the chicken fajitas and beef burritos are heavenly. The tacos aren’t great though. Also, it seems to be one of the few places that includes guacamole with your order(except for tacos), so you don’t have to order it on top of everything else. Also, I have dietary restrictions and they seems really conscientious about not including cheese when requested. Great place!

Great prices for the amount of food you get. The nachos con carne are amazing! Also the delivery was super fast and accurately quoted.

The vegetarian burrito here is SOGOOD. I ordered one from another restaurant in the area was was very disappointed so I only just resumed my search for great burritos in the area. This one wins! I’ve ordered from here twice online. The first time the service was crazy fast, the second time it took a bit longer but I had ordered right near closing time so I understood. From what I remember, my burrito had spinach, peppers, onions, and a couple other veggies, plus rice and beans. I really like that they melt the cheese on top and provide two salsas and pico de gallo. The best part, GUACCOMESWITHYOURBURRITO! Guacamole at no extra charge in NYC is pretty unheard of in my experience so I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a small portion with three chips but still welcome. My friend who ordered the guacamole side got a gigantic styrofoam cup of guacamole, so that was also worth the $ 6 or so she paid. I’m really happy with the quality of their burritos(and the value, they’re pretty big for $ 8) and will probably branch out to their other dishes at some point too.

After living near La Mesita for almost a year now, I was looking for a well-rated restaurant for Mexican food and decided to give it a try. This was the kind of place that makes you regret trying something new. I had the breaded cutlet Cemita with a side of french fries & a slice of Tres Leches cake. The chicken sandwich was absolutely inedible. I see reviews all of the time on Unilocal & Seamless and when people say«inedible» I always just assume it was a picky eater or someone with a little too high of expectations for take-out food, but this was gross — and I am no stranger to gross, greasy late night eats. It was rock hard, cold and when I took a bite of the sandwich, I couldn’t bite through the chicken. In addition, the order that claimed to take 40 – 50 minutes took just under an hour and a half, so by the time the food got there I was so hungry I just took off the chicken and ate a cheese, tomato and lettuce sandwich(I guess the avocado did not make the cut?). I gave them two stars, because they gave me a good portion of french fries, a hearty slice of cake and also I’m really hoping that this was just an off day. But with that said, I’m just going to go elsewhere next time.

The Nachos and Shrimp Burrito are EPIC. I also love the salsa that they bring out with the chips. Can’t wait to come back and i really wanna try the juices next time.

The most terrible food ever. Sauce in the chilaquiles taste like Ragú, greasy and cold. Couldn’t eat it at all. This was the first time returning a plate. I still paid for it. But do yourself a favor and do not eat in this place. Before order online, stop by their kitchen and check how they cook your food. Not clean. How can you cook wrong mexican food? Well this place know how to mess it up!

Amazing burritos. Great prices. The Pastor is a little slice of heaven. If I could eat these for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I would. Also, the flan is pretty redonkulous. Well done! Muy sabroso!

Really nice staff here although food can be slow(they seem to do a bustling delivery service.) I really liked the salsa they brought out although it was sweeter and a bit different from others that I’ve had. Chicken enchiladas with salsa verde? Delicious. So good that when I brought the leftovers to work for lunch the next day, my colleague asked me to order her an order of them next time I went even though we work in Manhattan. Ha. Filled with chicken and smothered with salsa verde, crema, cheese and avocado slices. Too bad their rice and beans were rather unseasoned. The tinga burrito is really good as well. I’ve also tried the fajitas which I thought were alright but nothing special. I’d definitely go back for the enchiladas though!

Impressed! I’ve been on the hunt for a North Brooklyn taco joint to replace my beloved Sunset Park spot — Tacos Al Bronco. One of my friends suggested to try this over my usual take-out place and it was a pretty game-changing experience. All of my food arrived piping hot and delivery was speedy. For the Grubhub/Seamless users, I’ll break it down for you: Vegetarian burrito: Best option in the area for a vegetarian burrito I’ve come across. Cheesy-creamy-veggie goodness. You get a complimentary scoop of guacamole and pico-de-gallo on the side which is a nice touch. Second place would be probably be given to Guadalajara De Dia but the vegetarian burrito from La Mesita will be my first choice from now on. 5⁄5 Soft tacos: Classic taqueria style — Cilantro and diced onion. I specifically requested corn tortillas after reading a review here that claimed he received flour tortillas. I base my decision on returning to a taqueria on their standard tacos. Mesita’s did not disappoint. 4⁄5 Hard tacos: ‘American’ style — Crema, lettuce and diced tomato. I *had* to… I haven’t really seen the option for a hard shell ’round these parts. If delivery was any less expedient they probably would have gotten a little soggy but the ones I had order arrived perfectly crunchy 4⁄5 I wasn’t as blown away with the guacamole(could have used more cilantro and maybe an extra pinch of salt) or the salsa verde(I prefer a thicker salsa verde. Mesita’s was more on the watery side) but all-in-all a very solid option. I will absolutely be returning.

Just ordered from here for the first time and I must say it was surprisingly great. After juggling between a few other spots in my neighborhood.. I am glad I followed the reviews of the other Unilocalers and chose this one. Delivery time was about 45 mins which wasn’t bad at all considering I’ve waited longer for less quality food –_-. I ordered the spicy chicken burrito($ 8), 2 shrimp tacos($ 4.00 each) ughhh and guac and chips($ 6)…it was a bit pricey but they gave huge portions which balanced it out. Everything was very good. My personal fav was the tacos. Bottom line. … I will never order my usual tex mex again.

Another Seitsema discovery for me. Otherwise I’m not sure I’d venture this far out on the M train, and certainly wouldn’t have been able to pick out this particular gem for the series of Mexican restaurants on this block. I was told to order to the pambazo and I can confirm this was a solid recommendation. It’s listed under appetizers on the menu, but frankly nearly everything in that section could double as a menu course — there’s really no difference. Especially considering that you’re able to chomp down a basket of gratis chips(store-bought unfortunately) and salsa(smooth and pleasantly sweet) while the dish is being created. The best thing about the pambazo is how the spice is baked right into the bread, so the flavor isn’t concentrated in the middle of the sandwich. Between this, the cemita and the torts I am beginning to wonder if the Mexicans have more variety in sandwich creation than anywhere else. Certainly something to think about on the subway back towards Manhattan.
