I used to be addicted to their sandwiches. This days I am more into a sandwich here and there. Nit that Subway didn’t improve, just that I am gaining weigh too easily:)
Stood for few minutes, even the person ahead on the line already got the sandwich. They did me a huge favor and asked me what I would like, as if I am the one who stand between them and surfing the ocean. Come on, you are here, do you job.
The sandwich was OK, I am sure it would tasted much better if they would make it with little more attention.

After getting sweets from Vito’s Bakery I went for 2 subs here.
Guy was super friendly – which is always a bonus. Like that extra fry at the bottom of the bag. He was apologetic when I asked for 9 oat/​grain and they were out. Then I asked for a meatball sub and again they were out. He was super cool about it which I understood.
I got one 12-​inch veggie (for me) and one 12-​inch chicken ranch and bacon sub (for hubby).
He was quick and gave us extra jalapeños cause I said we wanted spice. (Incidentally both my husband’s and mines mouth caught on fire due to the peppers and we loved it)
It was a quick experience but a bit pricey. It was over $ 21 bucks. But totally worth it.
We will return. Just hope that same guy is there with a friendly smile.

The only reason I’m giving this two stars is because there are two staff members here who are absolutely great at their jobs. However, the other sandwich artists are typically unable to fulfill an order correctly without me directing them every step of the way (even to the standard amount of meat you should be TRAINED to put on every sandwich). Whenever I get serviced by these two, they look completely disoriented and like they’re new on the job… which would have been fine if I didn’t know these people had been working there for nearly 8 months now.
I see no management presence or urgency to get these people trained on both sandwich making and using the cash register correctly. I wouldn’t consider eating there again at this point until there’s a serious consideration of the staffing there.

Surprisingly Friendly service for a subways!
$ 5 foot long is usually worth it.
Pros: tasty subs, relatively healthy fast food. Plenty of veggies

I’m not really sure what the review below mine is talking about but this place is nowhere near John’s Deli. It’s a few miles away, as can be seen on the map.
As for the actual location, it is new and is really still working out its kinks. The first time I went, there was no dressing on my sandwich whatsoever which left it really bland and tough to enjoy. I tried to write it off as growing pains, but the next time I went in I ordered chicken and it was nearly raw.
I know that this place is new and so the staff is too, but their making sandwiches not rocket ships. They seem understaffed and so maybe that has something to do with it.
But overall it’s clean and not horrible, but if you can reasonably avoid it you might want to consider doing so.

This Subway shares its space with a news stand and coffee shop. Its small, but there’s generally never a problem finding seating. The service is friendly and patient and my only gripe is that they always run out of bread and flatbread!

This Subway location on Avenue U is a great addition to the numerous restaurants and fast food places already in the neighborhood. It’s fairly new (I think it opened within the last 6 months or so?) and every time I stop by, the staff is pleasant and efficient. I get my sandwiches to go and I’m always in and out of there within 10 minutes (even when there’s a line).
The ingredients are fresh and well stocked (though there have been a couple of times when they didn’t have spinach buuuuuuut I can overlook that). The dining area is always clean and neat. Overall, this location is one of the better ones and I like coming here for my 5 dollar foot longs!
