This hotel is very affordable, incredibly clean, and employs friendly staff. I’m always hesitant about trying out a new budget friendly hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. We will be staying here from now on when we visit the city. Keep up the good work!

On the positive it was clean and tidy. However, at check-in we had an issue with the reservation and the staff was unable/unwilling to compromise. The AC also was not working properly. The first time we called someone came up and just hit the thermostat down and said done. Like lowering the temperature hadn’t occurred to us. Later we called again after dinner when it was stuck at 78 after hours of being on cool and this time the staff unplugged the unit. Said we had it set too low we didn’t need it that cool. 70 was cool enough. I know I’m spoiled but I’m paying for the use of your room and your AC. Very frustrating. Very rude.

This hotel gets 2 stars. For the price paid, it was worth it, but there were several items that dropped the rating. The room I stayed in was relatively clean. I checked around the beds to look for any signs of bugs and thankfully did not find any. The desk, dresser and night stand could have been dusted better and the corners of the carpet weren’t particularly tidy. In the bathroom, the toilet was a bit dirty and the water coming out of the shower smelled pretty bad, but I understand the hotel can’t control the quality of the water coming into their building. Walking down the hall one day, I could smell someone smoking marijuana in their room. I know you might have that anywhere but it is still shady to allow that activity to go on. The continental breakfast was so-so. It was difficult to maneuver in the small area with the other guests. I was happy with the distance of the subway station from the hotel. Just a 5 – 10 minute walk and you’re on your way to wherever you need to go in Manhattan.

I think Armand I. Must work here. This place wasn’t horrible, but they could do better. Pros: Free parking Close to subway Not too expensive — 133 per nite on Priceline Complimentary breakfast Nice bed/clean rooms Nice view of warehouse district :-) Minimum towels Cons: No water pressure — shower sucks Broken toilet seat ’Business center’ was down and they wouldn’t fix it Loud teens in hallway until early hours of the morning. Bad night for sleeping. Where were the chaperones/security? I almost complained, and I should have. Stupid tv Nice view of warehouse district. Slamming doors Could hear neighbors thru the walls.

Actually I’d like to give this nifty little motel in Brooklyn a 3 and ¾ stars rating. It’s a nice, clean, safe, modern small motel in Sunset Park. There are a lot of things to recommend. As I mentioned above, it’s on a pretty quiet street and our room was new and clean. No problems there. Additionally, it has free parking! Also, it was only a 10 minute walk from several major subway lines going straight into Manhattan. Typically, our trip into Manhattan took about 45 minutes, which seems long, but my experience is that it takes about ½ hour to get into Manhattan from either Brooklyn or Queens. It also had a free continental breakfast thrown in(toast, hard boiled eggs, juice coffee). There are also several dining and drinking options nearby Look them up here on Unilocal). For me and my friends, our favorite was George’s, a nifty little diner on 5th Ave. The only real problem was had was the poor wifi signal. All in all, this motel is a great choice for tourists, especially if you want to save a few bucks and not stay in Manhattan.

Pros: 1. Pretty Cheap for a NY area hotel! 2. Close to the R Line! 3. My room had somewhat of a view to the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan! 4. It felt clean enough! 5. They offered Breakfast. 6. 24 hour service Cons: 1. Still felt a little far from Manhattan. 2 Wi fi didn’t work in my room nor did the air conditioner! 3. I was a little scared for Bed Bugs the first night(eventually the fear went away). 4. Wall were paper thin, you could hear everything! 5. Too close to the Hwy! If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for week or so in NY, this is probably a good place. I mean, even though it’s in Brooklyn it still feel a little far from Manhattan, 40 minutes on the rail line to take you from the hotel to Midtown Manhattan! I guess it’s not that far. The hotel is actually pretty good, there’s enough space, rooms are pretty big, and bathrooms felt clean, along with the whole room. I was also happy you could open the window! Soooo many hotels don’t give you that perk! This hotel would also be a good option if you were visiting Brooklyn! Neighborhood felt pretty safe, I walked down 4th Street/Avenue(forgot) at 2am and felt safe! Large Puerto Rican and Dominican population near by! Wireless did work on the first floor thought, they should fix that problem!
