San Marcos Produce

Nice small family owned business located on 4^th Avenue in Bayridge. this location is easy to get to by either R train or 9 bus. they have daily specials on certain fruits such as mango and oranges that is a great buy but you must use these immediately because this shelf life is probably just a day ir two. I remember when they first open I was positive the owner was a retired actor who played TaTu’ on Fantasy Island all they had was a couple of milk crate of fruit and nothing else. sometimes I stand there and think when they were crossing over to America with the Coyotes who would have thunk it? They have expanded to sell certain groceries as well as other BODEGA stuff such as MALTA or Pork Ribds phonecards but basically a small fruit store. Very nice people and good produce. Not cheap but reluable
