Saba Grocery & Deli

One of my favorite bodegas. I frequent this place often since I live so close. Lots of locals come by this place and the staff knows people by face and name… everyone here is super nice, and they have a friendly cat that lives inside too :) My favorite thing is to drop by for quick breakfast and get eggs, sausage, bacon on a roll — delicious, and total damage to wallet is only $ 4.50. Also a great place for late night ice cream runs.

Great deli– Pretty small inside but has a decent selection. Bagel sandwiches are cheap and delicious ($ 2.50 for bagel with egg, lettuce, tomato and cream cheese). Employees are friendly too

This is a great deli, I am glad to live near it. They have a wider selection than your typical deli. Califia almond milk, some fancy snack items, and the prices are good too. I got beef jerky for 3.49 $ And the ice cream selection is fantastic… lots of Talenti to choose from. They also have the best dates I’ve ever tasted. The staff is kind too.

They’ll put anything I want on a roll for $ 4.
I’m guessing this phenomenon is only ‘within reason’ and if I requested shit they didn’t have (like truffles or filet mignon or duck) they probably wouldn’t accomodate… probably the same thing can be said for items that are behind the counter but sold separately (like that tube of toothpaste… or a pack of marlboro lights), but again, I have yet to try these things on a roll, and they have yet to tell me ‘no’ or charge me more than $ 4 for anything I have asked for thus far.
I do know that turkey, lettuce, tomato, onions, various types of cheese, oil, vinegar, and mayonaise are all fair game.
They also sell Sabra hummus here… and those 99 cent cans of Arizona Green Iced Tea. and I’d guess AT LEAST 4 or 5 other things one might find useful to have in a convenience store.
The employees also range from 15 to 80 in age, and from Arabic speaking to Arabic speaking in native languages… and they’ve all been very nice to me.

Good for Snapple (drinks), ciggies, cash and cookies. They also make a bangin’ bacon, egg and cheese for only $ 2.50. Very much a neighborhood dell carrying the staples and open until 12am. They are sure to stock diet peach Snapple tea just for me :).
Cash Only. They have an ATM that only charges $ 1.75.
