I have no complaints regarding the post-​op rehab I received here. I had surgery to release a stuck tendon of the pinky finger. Although the surgeon said it would heal on its own, it continued to be stiff and with very limited range of motion. So the doctor gave me a referral and I came to Profitness because it’s in the neighborhood. The physical therapist was extremely caring and conscientious. He was obviously concerned about giving me the best possible care. Within a month or so of two visits a week, I was in good enough shape to finish the rehab on my own. The facility was clean. The staff was courteous. I got better. What more needs to be said?

I discovered Michele Garcia thru a neighbor who seemed to heal remarkably quickly from his 2 knee replacement ops. one after the other. I fractured my pelvis and Michele gave me superb care. She really understands the body and its anatomy. She did a blend of massage and stretching at first, then moved me on to careful machine exercises. She encouraged me to use the pool at the Y and I have found it wonderful.
The way she handled me was just what I needed. She has good humor, kindness and empathy. The best Physical Therapist I have ever used.

I’ve been coming here for my physical therapy after I got my ACL repaired. The PT I was working with, Julia, was spectacular and the main reason I’m giving 5 stars. It was close to my apartment, easy to get to, and relatively busy. The busy atmosphere gives me more confidence that not only do they know what they are doing, but they are up to date on the most innovative techniques for a speedy recovery. The only drawback here is that some of their machines (i.e. the treadmill and the bike) are a little dated. I’ll be back to continue my rehab after I’m working abroad!

I received physical therapy at Profitness Physical Therapy with therapist Dr. Ilya Rukhman, DPT, for several months this past year. Ilya was a talented, professional, friendly, and supportive physical therapist. He helped me a lot and I would highly recommend him!

Worst place I have ever been to. Dirty, reception is nasty in both NYC and Brooklyn, staff can’t call back, can’t answer a simple question, and cost me the full use of my arm waiting because their mistakes locked my insurance while I fought to release their mistakes. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy go to this dump. Not one competent person there.

These people are the best at what they do. I’ve been to other physical therapists — you know, the kind that treat you as if you were part of an assembly line — and saw minimal results. The therapists here are literally hands-​on. Which is what you need if you want your body back to good working condition.
Shirley (at the front desk) does every bit of paperwork for you (no more having to call your insurance or workers comp people every 4 weeks) and Vilma… She’s amazing at what she does. I’ve never had a better experience with a practitioner. Go see her. Now.
