Popeyes

Even though this is a fast food joint, I was treated with courtesy and hospitality. The staff here and incredibly efficient and kind! I got the family meal deal for my family. This includes 20 pieces of meat (chicken, thigh, wings, breast, etc.) and it comes with a large side (I ordered coleslaw because I love me some mayo veggies). I also ordered a large side of Cajun French fries (which were bomb diggity delicious. Soo crispy!!). Oh, and the meal also came with buttermilk biscuits. I loved my meal and enjoyed the customer service. They were even kind enough to give us a half gallon of refreshing lemonade! Loved it!

After Burger King under went renovations and include Popeye’s, the world has changed! Immediately you are transported to «New Orleans» with the fresh and festive décor! Prices may vary but overall affordable for a cheat day or a lazy Saturday afternoon. My cashier was helpful and friendly. also didn’t get rude service when I asked for extra jelly for my biscuits!

First popeyes I ever tried best Mac and cheese, best chicken, best shrimp and I like to believe that lady in the commercials is cooking my chicken in Louisiana, popeyes P. S. I LOVE YOU

Just stopped in to this place a week ago and I have to take away star since my last review. The food still seems somewhat good but the management or owner is different from what I can see they seem somewhat slow and the manager doesn’t seem to have a clue… My son went to the counter to ask for raspberry pie after eating his meal and had to make not 1.2.but 3 attempts the first two resulted in Apple pie instead of raspberry. You would think the staff would know the difference. But it didn’t change the fact that the manager was annoyed with my son for returning not 1 but 2 pies that were bitten into. I mean hey how else are you going to tell difference between 2 things that look alike & aren’t placed in packaging that distinguishes on item from another. So as a result of 2 botched attempts at providing Raspberry pie the manager saw to it personally that a fresh batch went in oven and provided my son with one when he returned to counter after 10 minute wait. I tell all this just to say if the manager had done the job properly to begin with and not treated my son like he was trying to get something for nothing he would’ve seen what the problem was and corrected it. That was my reason for taking away a star in the rating I gave. I feel if they continue to have poor management & staff, this place will lose customers… myself included!!!

This is the best Popeye’s that I have had the pleasure to visit, and I have been to a lot of them — LOL! Whoever had the idea to renovate the decrepit and wasted space that the Burger Kings occupied solely and redesign it for the Burger King/​Popeye marriage, should receive a medal! And it is a match made in heaven!
Maybe because the equipment is new, but the chicken at this Popeye’s is much fresher and juicier than at the location on Nostrand Avenue by the Junction. The staff is friendly as well. It makes it worth this guilty pleasure. Keep up the good work!

I’m in love…
A big Popeyes shared with Burger King right off of Flatbush Avenue! There’s a similar setup like this in Bay Ridge but this one is much better! It’s all brand new with a complete separation when you walk in, right side is chicken, left side is burgers!
There’s a drive-​thru and a nice sized parking lot, making this a great location.
The food of course is great! The Popeyes menu is easy to read and they take care of their chicken heaters better than other locations, probably because it’s so new (the older Popeyes locations don’t have a «lock» on their plastic windows like this place).
The hi-​tech soda machine is so much fun! You can make any combination of flavors just by pushing the buttons! They say there is over 100 combinations to try!
Great fast food spot!

The place is new and very modern looking inside
and they have one of those computerized soda machine with a million different flavors
As far as the food, its Popeyes, so you know its good

It’s Popeyes chicken. Just opened up this week and its closer to my house with a parking lot. It’s connected to the Burger King.
What more can I ask for? :)
