Planet Wings

Great location, lousy food. I made the mistake of buying $ 30 worth of wings before tasting them. They gave me a tiny cup of blue cheese, enough for maybe 3 wings which comes with the wings when you buy a small order. I asked for another cup of blue cheese, still much less than I would need and they told me it would cost .50 cents. Yeah, spend $ 30 on wings and get charged extra for a little cup of blue cheese. That was when I realized these people didn’t give a crap about their customers, and when you don’t care about your customers it shows in your food which was lousy. Better chicken wings can be had just about anywhere else in Bay Ridge or the entire country.

Disappointing! If wings is part of your business name you should be putting out some bomb a** wings. These wings are anything butt (get it)?They are small and dry. And why can’t you split an order of 20 into 2 different flavors? I’ve had PW in Staten Island and it was much better. 1 star for decent cheesesteak even though the bread was whack.
Also, not on seamless or grub hub. You have to enter allllllllll your information and deal with small screens. Annoying. Have I mentioned my disappointment?

I gave this place too many chances. They literally seem to give me small pieces of wings on purpose because it’s way too expensive for that quality. Would NOT go back again.

I love Hot Wings especially on football Sunday, Unfortunately my undefeated team team lost, I have to say being superstitious it maybe a jinx for me to order take-​out form Planet WIngs. The wings were very small good but small, I ordered the Hot and they had some kick they were not smothered in sauce. I also order 2 soft beef tacos they were excellent the Cuban wrap was terrible probably because it was not what I exspected it was some weird mustard pickle ham thing I didn’t appreciate it too much and some Sweet potatoes waffle fries that was well prepared and tasty but arrived ice cold. I will give Planet Wings 1 more chance but will pick up my order instead of delivery.

Came here with one of my bros for lunch! Ehh it was alright. We got here at 12 and there were a few people ordering/​eating inside. It’s a small place that can probably only fit about 15 people. I noticed that people say this place is really clean but I did notice a fly buzzing around in there and sauce stains on the wall which I found to be big turn offs. My friend and I shared 30 Honey BBQ wings and 3 chicken tenders for a total of $ 23, which I found to be pretty reasonable. The wings were pretty good and came with blue cheese sauce that was tasty. The chicken tenders, however, were not good. The breading had no flavor whatsoever except saltiness and the chicken was kind of dry. I didn’t like the Honey Mustard sauce that came with it either so I just dipped them in the blue cheese sauce.
The food was ok and would’ve received 3 stars from me but there were 2 things that went wrong. Firstly, we had ordered 3 chicken tenders but my friend paid by card and they charged him for 5 chicken tenders instead, which I found kind of shady. They did offer to pay back the money for the chicken that we didn’t order but the transaction process seems like such a hassle. Secondly, there are no bathrooms there to wash your hands after eating the chicken… All they give you is a bunch of alcohol swabs (the exact same ones that you use to swab medication vials with #hospitalpharmacynerd) to clean your hands with. You probably need 10 swabs just to clean one finger lmao. Overall, second-​rate food, shady service, and shoddy décor/​utensils. Would not come back.

First time trying them out. Clean and friendly place. Wings good. Wish they were just a bit bigger but otherwise worth the money spent. I went with the lemon pepper this time.

Finally a place that is clean and friendly. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Aliyah is a great asset to the company. Knew the menu and definitely knew how to talk us into adding fries and cheese and drinks which was awesome cause it ended up as a great meal. Anthony the manager was very polite and respectable. He gladly served my wife her food right to her seat when he did not have to. Any man that can give my wife A+ service has my loyalty. Definitely will be a regular here. Thanks!!!
P. S. They even had the NBA playoffs on. Kudos!!!

For the first time I am dissapointed at their service. I called in to place my order for wings around 5:52 pm. An hour and 30 mins passed by and no delivery! I kept calling and the young lady on the phone said they are running a little late it would be another 15 – 20 mins and they never showed up! So i believe the manager called me and he stated my address was never put in the system! WOW! These people are a disgrace! You don’t leave customers waiting and hungry! This is completely unacceptable. I will never ever do business with Planet Wings ever again. I rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings if that’s the case.

Wings were of the cheapest variety. Frozen French fries. Really bad and won’t be back. Go to a bay ridge pub for much better wings.

The good news is that this place is very inexpensive and the delivery was very fast.
The jalapeño poppers were tasty, definitely the better brand of frozen poppers, though it did not come with the customary sour cream.
The mozzerella sticks were also one of the nicer brands of frozen stick, but the marinana sauce was nasty and sickly sweet. The fries were super soggy and gross.
Husband and i both got boneless wings, mine mild, his spicy. THe sauce itself is fine, but the boneless wings themselves are completely inedible. THey were so salty that you couldn’t even taste the spicy. In addition to being salty, they gave a very unpleasant after taste. I don’t know if they are using a frozen boneless wing, or if they make it themselves, but I would recommend they switch it out immediately or stop offering boneless wings. NASTY!

My first time there since it opened. Was served raw chicken. Will not be going back any time soon.
Honey mustard had no flavor and don’t expect a «wing» to be an actual whole chicken wing, but rather a third of one.

Just came across this brand new planet wings in Bay Ridge so OF COURSE I had to try it!!! The service was friendly and speedy. I ordered the hot wings with regular fries and blue cheese. The wings were descent, I didnt find them to be even remotely hot and by hot I mean spicy but it was okay. The fries were terrible! Undercooked and gross. The blue cheese was the best part. The right sauce is everything! Seating is limited so not sure what it will be like in there on the weekend when all the shoppers are out on 86^th street. I would try it again but I wouldn’t try anything else other than the wings. The menu is extensive but I think Id rather not even bother.
