Decent Chinese but BEWARE if you are in a vehicle that idles outside: apparently someone wrote down my license plate and sent it in to the city and now I have a $ 200 fine for leaving my car running while I went inside to pick up my order.

Cheap as hell and giant portions. Satisfying, too. Also they’ll make anything with tofu if you ask.

Bottom line, this is just good, satisfying, cheap Chinese food. The food itself isn’t four star food, but you’re not really coming here for that, are you? It’s just really succeeds as cheap, hole-in-the-wall Chinese. My friends and I got General Tso’s chicken, orange chicken, sesame chicken, three eggrolls, crab rangoons, and shrimp toast for $ 28. Oh, and they threw in two free sodas. Sure, you’re going to hate yourself thirty minutes after, but you’ll thoroughly enjoy the feast during. Highlights: cheap, super decent food, quick, best crab rangoons we’ve ever had Lowlights: eggrolls aren’t good. The three chicken dishes are basically exactly the same with the same sauce, just with sesame seeds on top or tossed with orange peels. Tip: delivery or takeout only. You can eat there, but why?

Never again. Note that I am rating this with the expectations of a fast food, sketchy chinese take out spot, and yet I’m still going to give it 1 star. The food is decent, I’ve had much better sketchy chinese take out, for cheaper too. Their pork egg foo young was all egg and rice which was disappointing. The one star is mainly for the hair I found in my food, luckily I’m not squeamish, and not one to waste food just because of a hair. Anyways, the people are nice, the food is bad, go elsewhere. There’s a pizza spot on the next corner over that is worth every dollar.

I like them. Nice people. Just solid cheap food. I wouldn’t eat the pre-made frozen stuff or the meat. Veggie stuff is fresh and good. They are generous with brown rice. $ 5 for a small portion.

This place is Tso good, seriously it is the archetypical greasy NYC Chinese spot. From the second you walk in and are greeted by the turbocharged women that demand your order, to the possible luck dragon in the back that wisks together your order in three minutes flat. You can’t order wrong here, everything is that perfect meld of salty sweet msg that you crave when impaired or are just too lazy to eat anything that is delivered by a spaceman on a duct tape rocket bike.

Of all the Chinese restaurants I’ve been where I’ve ordered Gen. Tso’s, this one hits the bulls eye. Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff, and speedy service. This is my new go-to Chinese place in Greenpoint.

Don’t go here. I have had more than my fair share of sketchy Chinese food over the years, and I have paid the price from time to time. But what I am experiencing right now is some next level, «should I go to the hospital?”-style food poisoning. I wouldn’t wish this on anybody. Nothing left to purge and my stomach is still heaving. Just do yourself a favor and skip it. One star because apparently I have to have one.

I’ve been eating here for a while now but was always too lazy to write them a review. This place is what every take out should, fast and cheap! Their staff is very friendly and my deliveries always comes super fast! The portions are a good size here, I usually get 2 meals out of my food! :) My favorite dish from them is general tso chicken, they make it really well! If you haven’t tired it yet, you should definitely give it a shot! :)

I love this chinise take out place! I can’t remember my first experience with this place but I have been a fun since forever. Everytime I call I get some extra fortune cookies :) My dad is jealous! The prices are very good(bet. $ 4 — $ 6 for a small portion). And for me small portion is for 2 dinners. The food is very good. I especially like their baby shrimps and vegetable dumpligs. The noodles and rices are good too. I order only beef and shrimps. Never tried anything other that that so can’t tell. Fast delivery. They know their regulars. When I call I don’t have to even finish my adress the lady already knows :) Never been inside so I can’t tell how it looks.

I was very excited to eat here, as it’s right around the corner from my apt, and we all know NY has the best chinese. I was sadly disappointed. Peking Express is no good. It’s worth the walk up to Chinese Musician.

I’ve been going to them for years and I have to say, their food is delicious! It’s a pretty small restaurant with only about 6 tables inside, so most of their business is takeout or delivery. I once was in there with my Grandmother and a man walked in and ordered about 6 orders of the fried wontons. He stated that they were the best fried wontons that he’s ever tasted and drove in all the way from Upstate to get them. I completely agree! Their fried wontons have always been one of my favorite dishes there! They have tasty lo mein, beef/chicken with broccoli, boneless spare ribs, broccoli in garlic sauce, sauteed shredded beef in hot pepper sauce, egg roll, crab rangoon etc. I can go on and on. I think their food is amazing! Their service is great, too!

I ordered the vegetable chow mein. It didn’t have any noodles. Just vegetables. I asked. Employee said that’s chow mein. I showed her Wikipedia. Chow mein has noodles… but not at Peking Express! Oh, and the«chow mein» was terrible.

3stars = food 5stars = customer service The food is meh, but when a little mix up happened with my order, I still tipped the driver(Jonathon) well because he biked through a snowstorm. 20 minutes later, he came back with the item they forgot(TWO orders of them and for free) and thanked me for letting him come inside to be warm.
