I ordered a falafel for delivery and it came an hour late. That’s a total of two hours. Two hours for a freaking falafel. From a place that’s a mile and a half way. What the actual fuck. Zero stars. Never again.

Unfortunately telephone numbers don’t work on a regular basis. Also the hours are not consistent, you are lucky if you find it open. The food is ok. It is a hit or miss situation. Can be great value for the money you spend, sometimes it is just ok. Desserts are not recommended.

Dry, tough, flavorless, expensive and tiny portions. Delivery takes about an hour and a half. They forgot parts of our order and refused to do anything to make it right when we called. Sorta disappointing. Unseasoned, flavorless hummus. Over-fried, tooth-breakingly hard, flavorless falafel. Falafel sandwich doesn’t even come with hummus, tahinni, or any sauce at all. $ 10 chicken kabob dinner comprised of 4 small cubes of over-cooked chicken. Just don’t do it.

I usually get the chicken kebab with rice. The rice has some kind of spice that I always forget to ask about, it’s tasty. The chicken kebab was seasoned well and tender. Perfect for a late night outing in the neighborhood.

I ordered chicken over rice for delivery. The food took an hour, okay that’s understandable if you’re busy. However, the food was cold and had no flavor which is a no go in my book.

This place is awesome. I just another one of many orders delivered about 2 minutes ago and again its perfect. Even the very few times they run out of something you ordered(i use grubhub) they always hook it up. Thanks guys!

Customer Service has to come first. But with the woman at the podium taking orders, I fear they will lose customers. She is abrupt, arrogant, unhelpful and totally rude. I don’t need to stand there waiting to order while she is on a personal phone call… don’t care if she is the owner or a paid worker. Then in the middle of my order, she interrupts me to say, «I’ll be right back, I have to move my car»! Huh? After waiting while she was on a personal phone call, I was a bit pissed. When she returned I asked what is in the sauteed eggplant her response, in an annoyed manner, «eggplant»! Really??? That part I figured out on my own… it was the other items in the dish I was asking about!!! The shepherd salad was mostly tomatoes and the tomatoes were over riped and soggy. Needless to say, I’ve had better. Salads are supposed to be crisp and fresh. And a tossed salad without dressing is not shepherd salad mixed with lettuce!!! Finally, I pay my $ 17 bill with a $ 20 bill and she doesn’t have change and leaves me standing there while she goes to another store to find change!!! It appears one needs to go to Park Slope to find good restaurants as Kensington doesn’t offer any!

Excellent service, excellent food, always fresh. What I love the most is their always open!!! Was there at 3 am on a Sunday and they were still on point. Had some tea after my meal and they through in some desert in. Owners are always on premises to ensure total satisfaction. And they deliver late! !

The food is ok! But the service there is horrible! I called last night to place a order and the lady was just nasty! I politely asked to talk to a manager cuz i really dont feel comfortable to order FOOD from someone that is so frustrated. I dont know maybe she had a bad day or something! She practically screamed in the phone«i m the owner of this place and i talk to you how the f*** i want so if u dont like it go f*** yourself!» And she just hang up! Sooo basically, we live in NYC there is food at any corner! This place has nothing special, but there rude and i dont feel good spending money in a place like that!

Stale, bland, tasteless… Better places in the area to go to. I rather go to the halal cart in front of CVS. There are always guys hanging outside which has detoured me from going into the establishment a few times. The place is clean which is good but wish the food had more flavor.

I ordered food there for my wife and myself. I got the lamb and she got the chicken. They prepared it and put it all in a bag so I couldn’t see it. When I got home to eat there were six small pieces of meat and a lot of rice, a salad with old tomatoes, and some sort of Italian bread pita. I couldn’t believe I paid 12 bucks for it. I felt cheated, the only reason I didn’t give them one star is because the place appears to be clean on the outside, and the rice was actually well done. Other than that it was terrible, and the meat was over cooked and chewy. I will never be eating there again. I’d rather eat from the good truck down the avenue or yummy taco on church ave. at least you know what you’re getting and you’re getting what you paid for.

Took out twice. Once a Falafel in Pita. It was average, about on a level with the Truck across the street in front of CVS, in tatste, quality, and price. Other time, I took advantage of the seamless discount and had Sauteed Eggplant, which was delicious and plentiful, and the lamb gyro platter over rice, which was absolutely outstanding. Guy who owns it is a neighborhood guy and seems very nice and eager to please and succeed. I hope he does. They are open every day until 4AM, and that’s a great thing for the neighborhood, and for us late nighters. Except when I’ve walked by there at 1 – 3AM(I take late night walks), there’s rarely anyone in there, so I suspect that won’t last. In fact, I saw him closing up at 3AM the other night. Update 10÷11÷15: They’ve been closed up for 3 weeks, and phone numbers are disconnected. They’ve done this before(the closed up) and then re-appeared, but not for this long. I suspect they’re gone for good but hope I’m wrong.

I don’t know what that other reviewer is referring to but the food was really good. Good flavors & Yummy options. I enjoyed the Baba Ghanoush, Sigara Burek, Falafel, & Shepard Salad. Great traditional Middle Eastern Food.
