PA Grocery

The folks behind BA /​PA grocery are nice people who have picked a good neighborhood spot to run their business. Aside from a couple of restaurants and a dry cleaners, this part of Greenpoint is almost all residential. Hence this is a great option for the area for locals who want a coffee or a breakfast sandwich or a random toiletry without having to travel too far.
The folks who run this joint have not pressured me to buy anything ever and have been gracious during each visit with plenty of smiles and politeness. I have stopped in here on occasion for a small breakfast, which is a lot cheaper than anything across the street (like Brooklyn Label). Their lunch sandwiches could use some work, the meat cuts are limited and I’ve gotten a lot more bread than I have meat most of the time. Keep the purchases simple here and don’t expect much, it is just a small deli after all.
