I went here to make copies of 2 Medeco keys. The lady was extremely nice when assisting me, she took my $ 10 plus tax and had the male employee make my keys. The copied keys looked thinly cut. Sure enough the first key broke within a week of using it. I didn’t bother going back to ask about it. When the second key broke within the month I went to tell them the situation. The lady who was nice at first completely changed her demeanor and told me that her keys could not have broke. The male employee confirmed with her that those keys were not theirs but my original keys. I even showed them my original key along with their broken one side by side and they had the nerve to deny it when clearly my original key was the older and sturdier one with the more visible Medeco logo. Wow seriously? Why would I waste my time to do such a thing and demand a refund while producing my original key for comparison? I couldn’t believe the sudden personality change when there was a problem with a service I received from them. They were straight out rude. No refund or apologies and basically called me a liar. I wasted my money and time! DO NOT MAKE KEYS HERE!

Went in here for a quick last-​minute need, and they were so nice and so helpful! We moved to Bay Ridge about 6 months ago and have not had great luck with the hardware stores in the neighborhood (my husband is in contracting, so he spends a lot of time at hardware stores), so I wasn’t expecting that much. But it was just a really pleasant experience! The woman at the front was so nice and went above and beyond to be helpful. Definitely recommend this place based on customer service! Can’t speak to their variety of products, but they had the two things I needed!

I’m renovating my apartment near by and its really nice to have a hardware store around the corner. Although its not my go-​to place, they’re good for small items, things I forgot to pick up or last minute changes. The guys have been helpful with me picking out the right stuff and were really helpful when doing an exchange when I bought the wrong thing.

The two men that work or possibly own this store are extremely rude and their customer service sucks! They also can not make keys that are functional. Never go here… you will be sorry!
