Good sushi, clean restaurant with friendly servers. My wife and I eat here a few times a month, and have for about 3 years now. It’s our favorite neighborhood sushi spot.

This is my spot for lunch/dinner when I am in the neighborhood. I like ordering bento box and hibachi there. I always order either beef, salmon or shrimp. My boyfriend likes ordering chicken which I find it tasteless and dry. I have been there many times and it only failed me once so far. I ordered a Chilean Seabass once and it was extremely salty. They provide good customer service. The bathroom is clean all the times. The price is reasonable.

I ordered two rolls, yellowtail with jalapeño and shrimp tempora. Both were delish! The sashimi was a little cold but steamed dumpling will be cold unless you eat at the restuarant. The delivery was fast and the delivery guy was polite. An over all good experience. I will be ordering from here again.

Very good place, affordable, good service, atmosphere can’t complain and the most important above all, very good food, I live 45 mints away from this place, there’s a few good sushi places near by my hood, but this place its amazing, it’s worth the trip, in fact I can’t wait to go back there soon!!!

I came here with my family and it was wonderful. Great food and great service, the place was very clean and even the manager came over to the tables to make sure we were happy. The bento box I had was slamming and the sushi was so fresh. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I look forward to coming back here again and again.

Decent sushi restaurant in the area :) Their food is very consistent and I can order a whole bunch of things and not a single order will go wrong. The staffs are very polite and patient as well. This restaurant has became a lot classier then it used to be, which is a good thing. I’ve came here with my family a couple of time for dinner and they had a great time. They said the fish was fresh and everything was tasty. They also have an AYCE menu; however, I’ve never tried it myself. My cousins said it was good and there are a lot of varieties of rolls, which is always a plus. Since this restaurant is only a block from where I live, my family likes coming here when they are feeling fancy for the night or when they’re craving sushi.

My dad and I went here today for all you can eat sushi around 2 pm. I’ve done AYCE sushi at other places that had a more extensive menu, maybe it was because it was around lunch. They had virtually all of the typical rolls and sushi a la carte, but there were no signature rolls. Regardless, the food was still tasty. The AYCE came with miso soup and a salad, which were both delicious. One thing I truly loved: they can make the sushi with brown rice instead of white if you ask. As a health conscious individual, that was awesome. There were some very delicious rolls and I wouldn’t say there was an excessive amount of rice(as some AYCE places tend to do to fill the customers up). We ordered 2 rounds and were pleasantly stuffed. Overall, I would have liked the menu to be a little more extensive based on my past experiences, but I would no doubt return. The value is incredible and the brown rice factor sold me!

Bay Ridge Sushi is a little hole in the wall tucked away on an unassuming street with a lot of other unremarkable businesses like delis and hardware stores. The first time I came I loved the coconut sake-tini, but it wasn’t great when I returned. They add toasted coconut which is a nice touch, but the flavor was off the second time. I think their rolls are good and fresh, and they have some interesting concoctions with mango and banana that of course cost a bit more. I had a salmon skin salad which was a bit too fishy for me. It’s pretty casual which is nice, and not very crowded either Saturday I was there. Nice sushi bar space as well. When I first went with a group of people they gave us dessert-fried ice cream an banana on the house!

Pretty nice sushi restaurant that has always served fresh average sushi. Great place for a solid lunch or dinner. Just nothing great but ok for sure.

The sushi was pretty good quality, but the choices were limited. There was no appetizers besides soup and salad but I guess that’s also a good thing so you can focus on the sushi more than having an appetizer buffet. They give pretty generous portions of soup and salad too, bigger than usual sushi buffet places. The spider roll was one of my favorites. If you’re feeling full or have a loss of appetite but still want to eat, order the oshiko roll, it’s just pickled radish but its sour sweet taste helps cleanse the palette. Overall, the food was good but I wished they had more appetizer options, or at least the more common ones like seaweed salad or kani salad.

Been coming to this place since they started off as a little place across the street. The expansion was a great idea. Their oysters are the best ever! The service is great

My husband and I love going here for the lunch specials. Same as any lunch special but they charge $ 2.95 for any additional roll in their Maki Sushi special. Service is nice, place looks neat and romantic. They lost a star because their All You Can Eat sushi consists mostly of rice. Good business tactic for them but I did not enter a sushi restaurant to eat mostly rice.

I’ve been to this spot a coupe of times and they have a good selection of sushi. It is slightly more expensive than other sushi spots in brooklyn tho. The environment is pretty trendy and they don’t rush you to finish your meal quickly. The boss lady is also very nice. If you have the chance, try the avocado peanut roll because it is tasty!

The quality of their food and sushi are fresh and the environment of the restaurant is great. Its a cozy place to dine and their staff are very friendly. Their Mango Dragon roll and Golden Salmon are awesome! I suggest anyone going here to give it a try! :D

Lunch is such a steal especially for the area. The dinner prices are okay. There isn’t any food item that I find amazing. I would never make the trip out to Bayridge just for the food at this restaurant. That being said, I never had a bad experience here. Safe place to go.

I ordered take out from here all the time, because in the area for Sushi, they are the only one open till 11pm, and most of the time I don’t get back to Bay Ridge till 9pm or 10pm, so this is perfect spot grabbing the togo order. I tried many different dishes here, and they are all pretty good. The restaurant designed very nice and trendy, a little bit dark inside, but I think because they have a full bar, I believe they designed like that so hopefully will get some drinking crowd? I dunno. lol I loved their Japanese Fried Rice, probably one of the best Fried Rice I had here living in Brooklyn. I know I’m look kinda Chinese, well maybe I am Chinese. lol But I don’t eat sushi, Yes, you read it right, I do not eat sushi, everything must be cooked before I putting into my mouth, expect the steak, which still need to be at least cook some. Unfortunately I’m moving to the city, so I won’t be coming here anymore, but I will definitely recommend this to a friend.

Sushi Sensei Badge! I actually never dined in the restaurant before, and to be honest, I always get my orders through whenever the site sends me offers/coupons. Food is consistent, orders accurate, always. Prices for the portions aren’t bad neither. Last night I opted for a bento box instead, I wasn’t satisfied with the one I got from Ichi Sushi a few days ago. The Beef Negimaki came with 9 pieces, the flavors were sweet and beefy but a bit too oily, though. The box also included stir fried veggies, California roll, fried shumai, a couple slices of pineapple, soup and a salad. The size of the meal was in fact large, me and my sister could have easily shared it. I would say this place stands out more than the other surrounding Japanese restaurants, maybe not so much for their prices, but definitely quality wise.

The sushi at this place is a joke. We did the all-you-can-eat for $ 22, and it was not worth it. We ordered a bunch of sushi; the rice portion was huge, and the fish portion was half the size it should have been. For example, for the red clam sushi, they actually cut the clam in half! Half of a clam each piece, are you serious! The fish was definitely not the best picks – taking a closer look at the tuna, there were some with black marks and veiny parts(Not normal) — raw fish is not something to be reckoned with, so I definitely do not appreciate being fed what could have been sick fish. We eventually got frustrated with this infuriating fish-to-rice ratio, and my companion picked off the fish from about 5 pieces and left the rice on his plate. A waitress came over and pointed at his plate and said, «You better eat that, or we’ll charge you.» then walks away. Okay, now I officially hate this place. We also ordered a spider roll which is supposed to be soft-shell crab(or at least it is at every other sushi place I’ve been to ever) and whatever came out was not crab, nor was it anything remotely close to anything like crab. I didn’t even know what it was, but I was forced to eat it «or they would charge me.» There are a MILLION other sushi restaurants in Bay Ridge that are so much better – Omiya, Fontana, the list goes on. Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your money here.
