While this place is not«punk rock» as promised by Foursquare, it is one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Dark, not acidic at all, simple, not overpowering. $ 2. Cheap food. Nice people.

The glazed donut is my favorite. Very cute place. How good your coffee will be depends on who makes it. Once a very tall guy made my latte and hot chocolate for my boyfriend. He was very nice and everything taste amazing. I came in another time alone, when there was a short, long brown hair girl working. I didn’t get good vibes from her. She wasn’t very nice and made me pay first before she made my order(as if I would run out of the store without paying). My latte was lukewarm and not very good. I still tipped her.

I was given green tea that tasted like dirty well water last night. I don’t THINK it was the tea. I really think it was the water they used. It was foul and undrinkable. What a waste of money. I was also sold a cookie that was more expensive than the tea and hard as a rock. And the dough donuts on display looked so gross and old. I don’t think the barista realized but there was a fly buzzing around in the glass cake stand they were in. Everything about this place was overpriced and disgusting. How do you mess up green tea?

I often go to coffee shops to try their ice teas and what I found is that most places fall short on prep and flavor. Not here the tea taste perfect and the barista adds a mint leaf with a slice of lemon. Well I don’t have anything negative to report about this little gem of a shop. I have visited this location 4 times and have found it to be 1. Clean 2. Friendly 3. Quick and painless service with a smile 4. Great coffee brew 5. Great selection of snacks I have sampled their breakfast sandwiches, doughnuts from dough and their bagels which are always fresh. What I’m dying to sample is their lunch snacks, I’ll need to take a day off from work one day. My Recommendations are: 1. Black bear 2. Green tea ice tea 3. The Latte

this place is my favorite coffee shop in Williamsburgh. this is one change that I can deal with after living here, let’s say forever. The people there are awesome and real and it always feels like a small party in there. Crystal is awesome and always a joy to see. Coffee is really good. Actually bringing my nephew there today for donuts!

I was so in need of a good latte and some breakfast after my red eye to NYC and Otha’s was perfect! I sat with my suitcase and thoroughly enjoyed every bite/sip. The vanilla latte & chorizo breakfast sandwich are delicious, I highly recommend them. A Brooklyn gem!

Delicious latte, lemonade, corn muffin and donut! The espresso tastes delicious considering going back to buy their espresso beans! The customer service is also delightful!

The food here I would say is pretty mediocre. Drinks are good, but nothing extraordinary for a coffee shop in williamsburg. They do serve what appears to be Dough donuts, so you can’t go wrong there. To the café’s credit, though, the staff are absolutely awesome. Really chill and friendly.

Otha’s is amazing! The food(breakfast burritos) are delicious and the coffee is great. They also have donuts from Dough. The staff are friendly without being overwhelming. Great local spot with awesome customer service.

Thanks the lord and all the heavens for this place appearing in front of me on my(seemingly interminable albeit only four block) walk to Dunkin Donuts while hungover. And they had breakfast food. And they had coffee. And it was amazing.

I love Otha’s. Exactly what this neighborhood needed was a good local coffee spot and Otha’s delivered. The staff is always personable(which I love) and I never feel like my coffee has sat there for hours.

Life before Otha’s was hard. I had to hoof it to Gimme on Lorimer for a cawfee. I found a place nearby that did an awesome café con leche with three sugars for 75c. .. I got a nespresso machine and hated it. THISWENTONFORYEARS. Enter Otha’s. Where the cappuccino has three shots(I think) and leaves the cup black with coffee swill after. You can read your fortune. Another fave is the cortado — perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up before the train. The place is tiny, and excellent staffers make for good vibes if you decide stay. Sometimes I do. You’ll see your neighbors and hear your train go by, again, and again. Reality calls. Will you answer?

This place is in a very odd and unexpected location — it’s really easy to overlook it, actually. It seems like it belongs somewhere else entirely. It’s tiny, so not really a place you’d want to hang around too long in, but the staff there are so friendly and sweet that you end up wanting to stay and enjoy their company while you have your coffee. I did once have to explain to the barista what a flat white was, but he made it perfectly and remembered when I came back the next time. I didn’t even have to ask, he just saw me come in and asked if I wanted a flat white again! Great little coffee shop and tasty treats on the counter, too, which I’ve indulged in more than once.

3, 5 stars Otha’s. Williamsburg. Stopped by for a sunday morning(yes open on sunday!) late breakfast. The inside is small but somehow pleasant, a little on the hypster side. I had a small coffee and a pain au chocolat; the coffee was fine, not outstanding but fine, and the pain was really good, perfect. I know they have Dough donuts but I’ve no idea where do all the other sweets come from. There are some seats by the window and others by the wall, so you can stop by for a while, but I think is more popular as a «coffee to go» place before running up to the subway. They don’t have wi-fi, and bathroom either. Cash only. #comunque#da#tener#presente##

I’m honestly not sure how this place got a B because it is so clean and awesome and delicious. And the blonde barista dude is quite the looker. A+++++ in my book for sure.

I love this little coffee shop. It’s hidden and close to Marcy Ave. stop. I went in yesterday and it was such a lovely experience. People were waiting in line for their coffee. I let people know I just wanted to sneak up and check out the treats. Once, I saw something that caught my eye. I waited in line. They had cool art show up, comic book style. It looks like the painted the walls and have a nice menu up that I didn’t see before. When I got to the front the guy working was real nice. And he explained all the cookie flavors. It was easy once, the espresso, chocolate chip cookie with sea salt was mentioned. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to try the grub next time. This is the kind of business I love to support! Those home away from homes.

This place is super solid and the peeps inside know how to pull a proper shot. The iced latte is fantastic and the coffee is far and above some of the best in the area. Check in after four for half off pastries from the morning and don’t forget to try the horchata or fresh lemonade. Definitely recommend.
