Love the food here. I Usually get the Chicken Shawrma or the Falafel Sandwich. Both are amazing, and very budget friendly. Front desk workers are welcoming and help with any questions on their menu.

Ordered delivery from New York Falafel while visiting friends in Brooklyn. It was timely and just as expected when ordering the falafel combo — but the presenting was quite sloppy and the food did not travel well. I should know in the future to just eat in at this restaurant rather than have it delivered.

For a great price, you get a complete meal! I had the falafel combo and I wanted to lick the plate clean(but that is generally frowned upon in public.) the baklava is scrumptious too! I had some of the bird’s nest and the original-both were delectable.

Really good food for the money. I got the shish kebab platter and some baklava. Meat was meaty, hummus was hummusy, tahini was tahini-y. The birds-nest dessert is huge and only $ 2!

Would not recommend delivery, mine came cold. Editing because the falafel sandwich in store is good! Tip: order it extra crispy so they serve it hotter. Service is very nice :~)

Great falafel and soup. Very clean little place that really hit the spot and is light in the wallet.

I really try to reserve 5 stars for places that are truly special, but this is a top rating well earned. This place is right on Wyckoff, surrounded by a locksmith, a dentist’s office, pharmacies, a parking garage and other such quotidian businesses. It isn’t anything fancy. Aluminium tables and bar stools, a simple counter and and an old school cash register with the calculator like display. What it does have, that is in surprisingly short supply in NY, is great tasting Middle Eastern food at low prices. I had the chicken shawarma platter. The meat was tender, juicy and delicious on a plate with white rice, hummus, baba ganoush, salad, chic peas and a pita on the side. All that for $ 8? Nothing on the plate was at all bad. Yes, the pitas come from a pack. Yes, the place isn’t that fancy. Yes, the menu is basic. But it’s fresh, legitimate Middle Eastern for low prices. The pitas are about $ 5. That’s less than those BS carts in the city that aren’t this good. I very much enjoyed my food and the gentleman that works here is quite charming when he isn’t speaking Arabic to the regulars! I would highly recommend to anybody in this part of Brooklyn.

I tried the chicken shawarma wrap, which was extremely bland. I was committed to finishing it because I had already paid for it and it at least had nutritional value(I hope). The fellow who served me was kind and since this is my new local Mediterranean spot, I really want this to work out! I will try try this spot again. All the positive Unilocal reviews for New York Falafel can’t be written by people who have no taste buds, right?

You must try this place! The platters are massive, and for such a cheap price!

Falafel Platter was great. SO much food on the plate, and falafel was fresh and flavorful, just like it’s supposed to be. The prices on the menu are very reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Solid falafel choice. Cue happy dance.

Walked here after coming in late to my Air BnB off the Jefferson St. L train stop. When I showed up it looked like the brother behind the counter was ready to pass out but still serving the guests with a good attitude and cooking up some delicious smelling food. They were out of chicken shwarma, which appeared to really irritate some guy who came in and then walked out with a scoff and an upturned nose – get over yourself bro – so I went with the lamb shwarma plate instead. For the price I wasn’t expecting a lot of food but was pleasantly surprised. I honestly could barely even finish the plate. Meat, rice, pita bread, multiple salads, delicious hummus. Awesome little joint on Wycoff Ave in Bushwick. Check it out if you’re in the area and try not to let your hipster snobbery get in the way of enjoying some good food and treating your cook with a little respect.

The staff are relatively friendly. They’re right next to the subway, so very convenient before you brave your long, subterranean journey. Their prices are pretty good. Certainly better than you’d find in the city. My main complaint is that the falafel was drippy. There was seriously a gush of sauce from the bottom of that thing. It got my water bottle and my shorts grimy, and that shit doesn’t easily come out of black denim…

My boyfriend and I are very fond of this place for several reasons: 1) The food is tasty here. Delicious flavors of juicy meat, rice, chickpea salad and hummus with tahini sauce = on point. 2) you get a lot of food for your $! They don’t skimp on portions. My usual is chicken schwarma plate and my boyfriend enjoys the kufta kebob plate. 3) the cook is super nice! He’s friendly and cooks the meat to order. Solid food option in bushwick! Recommend for a quick bite to eat to go or eat in(small dining area).

not good for delivery, long wait and cold food(i live close) also their meat is always old and chewy; this based on shish kabob, chicken shwarma and kefta. Have not eaten in, but based on 2 very mediocre experiences with delivery I say get it together NY Falafel! i feel punished by your cold, chewy food! Also the pita is like old and store bought, throw it on the griddle or something! make it doughy and soft!

I love this place mainly because the food is always great and the staff is always very welcoming and friendly. The chicken shawarma plate and platters are both delicious. I really don’t think this place could ever disappoint me. (Btw: the house made red sauce is really good. I’m always hesitant about getting it from other places but they suggested I try it and it was great!)

Yeeeessss, more selections in this area. The staff is super friendly and always greet you with a huge smile. The food is FRESH and cooked right when you order. I’ve gotten the kufta kebab platter — you get to choose either beef or lamb. I opted for the beef, so flavorful and delicious! The portions are generous and the prices are cheap! This place is way better than any of the food trucks around this area or any of the Deli’s that try mimicking«chicken and rice» trucks. They also have coupons at the front if you end up ordering from grubhub which is pretty cool.

When i ordered my Falafel platter i was surprised by the price. Surely i couldn’t get a tasty, Fresh, Falafel platter for this amount. I usually go elsewhere and their price is nearly triple. I got back to my office and was pleasantly surprised when i had a large portion of delicious Middle eastern style Falafel. this place is awesome.
