I also wish I could give this place no stars. I brought in an outer jacket with elastic on the cuffs and they killed the elastic so the sleeve just hangs lifelessly. This is an idiotic rookie mistake. They obviously have no concern about doing a good job.

I have had nothing but perfect experiences here — wash & fold laundry done promptly, $ 1/​lb, never any issues with cleanliness or missing socks or whatever.
I’ve had women’s blazers as well as men’s dress shirts and suits dry cleaned here and again, always a prompt and thorough job done on every order. I have even been That Annoying Customer who forgot to ask for a rush job on a dry cleaning order I needed for work Monday morning and they expedited it on a Saturday so I had it Sunday morning at no extra charge.
I have also come in with last minute alteration requests (I guess I am actually the worst?) and they’ve always done them (hemmed pair of work pants, fixed a bridesmaids dress) quickly.

The manager is so nice and friendly and is always so accommodating to my requests for earlier pick-​ups. I had an important party to attend and had a bunch of things cleaned and pressed. When they handed me my dresses I was admittedly very picky about tiny details, because I wanted things to be perfect for this event, and the manager quickly accommodated my request, re-​steamed the dresses and delivered them so I wouldn’t have to come back. I highly recommend them.

manager is very nice. They did a pretty good in dry cleaning my cloth. Every time I bring my cloth there, they always treat me as a value customer. none of my cloth ever has problem wen get it to dry clean with them.

They ruined my black skirt and left a passive aggressive note on the hanger telling me that they tried to clean my skirt but couldn’t get out the stain without further damaging the material.
1). The stain was still there, in fact, even more visible. 2). They did DAMAGE the skirt. It looked like someone took a razor and tried to shave the stain out. I don’t know what their cleaning process is, but that stain was a simple food stain. It wasn’t wine, oil, or grease. Instead of fixing the problem, they made it worse. Instead of 1 star, I give them 2 star, just because their note was basically admitting that they did do a sucky job. If they can’t get a regular stain off of a black, polyester, work skirt, I wouldn’t take any of my clothes back there again.

Today I needed a simple cotton skirt altered. A previous shop I stopped in a few blocks away rudely turned me down but these guys were great. They went over the changes I wanted, quoted me a price, gave me a pickup time, and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Thanks!

GREAT PRICES for any cleaners on 7^th Avenue. He did a perfect clean and repair of loss clasp. He was friendly and I was completely happy with them and will continue to use them. I have a cleaners beneath me and prefer walking the few extra blocks to New Hudson. It is no frills… just good work.

This place is the WORST and absolutely ruined my linens and clothes. I wish I’d seen these reviews before I made the mistake of going here. They handled my two pieces of dry cleaning fine, and were super friendly and remembered me, so I brought my wash-​and-​fold laundry there. BIG MISTAKE. I’ve NEVER seen such a crappy job of laundry in my life. When I was a kid, one of my chores was laundry — I swear, as a 7-​yr-​old, I did a better job. My clothes came back dirtier than when I dropped them off — and I mean with actual dirt on them (or some kind of orangey-​brown dirt-​looking stuff). The pillowcases to my favorite Anthropologie sheets have what looks like red Kool-​Aid and rust on them. A brand-​new kitchen towel has what looks and feels like dried glue on it, and has tears in it that make me think it got stuck in a machine. Shirts were folded with the collar on the inside, with sleeves inside-​out, etc. I had special detergent I wanted them to use — expensive, of course — not only did they not use it (on my clothes, anyway), but they watered it down. I had to re-​wash everything, and several things are stained permanently.
Worst of all was the response when I went to complain. If you want to attend a master class in evasion, sliminess, and not taking responsibility, go talk to the small, skinny Chinese guy (not the tall fat Chinese guy) — «it’s not my responsibility,» «I have no control over it,» «I don’t know what they do,» and — I swear, he said this a LOT: «I’m just the middleman.» ARRRGHHH! It was Kafkaesque. I got back the money I spent to have my clothes ruined, but they refuse to even replace the ruined pillowcases.
These people are AWFUL. I agree with Melanie S. — this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! They are the WORST. The store may look clean and cheerful, but don’t be fooled by that or by the employees being decent (initially). I don’t even have words for how badly they f*cked up my clothes, and how horrible their response was.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. If you want to ruin your clothes or never see them again, feel free to come to this cleaners. I dropped off two suits to be dry cleaned and one came with a belt, which was lightly attached to the suit. They gave me my suit back without the belt and when I complained they did nothing about it. I’ve been in 5 times since because they keep telling me their delivery man has it. I’ve left my number and have heard nothing. I’d make more of a stink, but I’m assuming all they will do is give me a credit for some discount dry cleaning. I’ll never be using them again — infuriating!

French cuff shirt. i left the silk knots in by accident. Instead of removing them, they simply left them in and plowed over them with the iron. the knots are now visibly singed and flattened. On the most direct point of contact, the fabric is entirely worn away so now i have blue silk knots with a white polka dot. The cuffs of course did not iron flat but are now wrinkled where the iron could not fully flatten out the silk knots. annoying to say the least.

«New» Hudson Cleaners lost the pants to my husband’s suit and did nothing about it. Actually every time my husband goes to resolve the issue, they say the manager is not there. How convenient that there is never someone around that can resolve the situation. We left a letter for the manager explaining the problem with our contact info — no response.
Beware of the place — it’s not worth it.
