Server was great, but food was mediocre. Frozen Marg tasted like water. Food was bland and tasteless.

The guac was the only good thing. Flautas were OK. Drinks were horrible I ordered the Paloma & some other drink they both tasted like margaritas. Even tho I complained about the Paloma drink he came back with it and it still tasted the same just with more tequila poured in it. The Michelada tasted expired. Thomas our waiter said the bartender was new. We could definitely tell. Not coming back to this place!

I always come here for good Mexican food and never leave unsatisfied!!! The only problem I have was waiting to be seated which normally doesn’t take long, other than that I recommend this place :)

This is why i am giving this place one star… :( 1) my friends chicken quesadilla had nothing but raw chicken inside of it… murp… 2) my enchiladas were horrible. I had the red and green sauce and i couldn’t tell which flavorless one was worse. The shredded beef and shredded lacked so much flavor… At 16 $ a plate for two tiny microwaved looking enchiladas i left hungry and sad. 3) the side of rice and beans to go with my enchiladas.hmmmm.where to start? First it looked like something straight up from a can… I didnt even touch the rice… As hungry as i was, i said hell let me taste it… i taste it. I stop. I take it in… i think for a bit… nooooo it cant be… Ok. ok. let me get a second opinion… I ask my friend to try it… she tastes it and looks at me and says. ‘THISTASTESLIKECATFOOD!!!’ yes ladies and gentlemen… cat food. This place has so much potential… The staff was friendly. The drinks were good… but i rather stand and eat at one of those food trucks than to ever go back for that enchilada plate…

Service was great but the prices were all far too high for the food, which was dreadful. The ceviche was not fresh and served lukewarm — I couldn’t choke down more than a bite before sending it back. The entrees were better but still mediocre, hardly deserving of their $ 15-and-up price tag. The ambiance was also lacking: the place is extraordinarily loud, the décor tacky and the seating arrangements awkward(deep two tops, strangely low seats). I would pass.

Nice to sit outside. Food passable. Expensive — $ 217 before tip for 4 people with 3 cocktails &1 glass of wine. Guac not made at table as advertised but delish. The strawberry margarita was very good. Tiny plate of rice & beans that accompanied the shrimp was awful — lukewarm, weird, tasteless rice & burnt beans. Time before, they forgot to return my credit card. After 3 calls with a response of «the draw is locked, call back later,» I gave up & reported it lost.

the elote is my fave. I also love the Chicken rice soup(but it tends to be on the over salted side) but i had a veggie burrito today and it was meh. i wanted no beans. so it was a huge amount of rice, and a bit of spinach/mushroom but nothing else. Wish it had fresh pico de gallo, or more vegetables/tomatoes even? in it. and not overcooked veggies. Saying so because Mole isn’t cheap — though I account for the location a bit.

There guac is really great, but for the prices and quality of the rest of the food I would give it overall 3 stars. The location is really close to my place, which is why I occasionally grab some guac to go because I just need that in my life.

The frozen margarita is amazing. The food was great but I believe it was a bit pricey. The restaurant atmosphere and service was great but if you go during the weekends expect to be sitting close to the next table.

Food is OK Service is good Price is high for an OK Mexican place. $ 24 for beef taco plate… Dinner for two with 2 main courses and some chips and salsa $ 75 with tip… You can get a nice dinner in the neighborhood for less. Other then that there are not too many places around so it’s convenient but at these prices it’s hard sell.

The food was ok. The wait time was ridiculous. We waited a little over an hour. Then the food came out luke warm. the drinks were good. The waiter apologized and I know it was not his fault but come on… one hour wait!

Food made us not feel well. Server made a mistake on our order and seemed annoyed about correcting it. The place has a nice look and feel, but the owner should hire better servers and make a few changes in order to compete. Much better Mexican restaurants nearby.

Yummy margaritas. Lots of flavors. We had the passion fruit and a jalapeño. $ 12 each. Decent price for NYC. Shrimp ceviche was tasty! Not your typical ceviche. Mexican style. Large shrimp buried in yummy salsa. Good service at the bar. Fajitas coming out of the kitchen smelled so good. We’ll definitely be back.

Not the best Mexican food at all. Service is okay. Food is average and not the big portion sizes I like. I am just not a fan of this restaurant and if your in the mood for Mexican I suggest looking around

Good food, accommodating to our little one, not crowded. Nice staple restaurant to have in the ‘hood, though nothing particularly stand-out about it. We like it!

I absolutely love Mole. Their happy hour(everyday 4 – 7) is just perfect! If you happen to be in the area this place is a must. Fresh Guac made to order and awesome margaritas like the coconut and cucumber one which is the perfect balance fresh but not too sweet! I’ve had the pastor tacos, the shrimp ceviche, the queso fundido with chorizo and warm tortillas, The cochinita pibil and the tres leches and I am never disappointed. The music is not too loud the vibe is always relaxed and fun and the staff is always friendly. The bartender is great he takes the time to get to know his customers and he can knock out margaritas and mojitos by the dozen which is always a plus and they alway come out perfect! This place has become our go to Mexican spot!

Great little restaurant! Our server Ruth was so sweet and social! The guacamole was SOGOOD and the margarita were spot on! Must try the coconut margarita! I had the baja fish tacos and they were so flavorful and big portions I couldn’t even finish them. Would highly recommend to Mexican food lovers! We will be back for sure.

I came here for dinner last night with some of my friends. We were craving Mexican food and were already in the area, so we decided to eat at Mole. The place was pleasantly decorated for Halloween and had lots of faux spider webs covering the walls and ceilings. They also had many other Halloween accents reminiscent of Mexican Day-of-the-Dead décor. All these touches gave Mole the extra aesthetic appeal that I like to notice in establishments. We started off by ordering some guacamole and some happy-hour Margaritas. The Margaritas were average, but the guacamole was very good. For entrees, one friend ordered some empanadas which were a bit underwhelming, and my other fried ordered a burrito which she thought was good. I ordered a Cheese Torta(Mexican cheese sandwich) which was amazing. Inside, the sandwich had queso fresco, avocado, savory beans, tomatoes, lettuce, and jalapeños. I got the sandwich with a side of spicy fries that were also good. This meal cost me $ 16.

happy hour is great! what are people talking about? great margaritas. and the staff has always been lovely :) i have seen some of the clientele(douchey peeps who moved from murray hill to north burg because they are scared anything beyond driggs ave), and unfortunately, some patrons are just plain rude to the staff. the staff always tries to accomodate. i really love this place and the happy hour menu and drinks and atmosphere and staff! keep it up mole. :)

I’ve been here approximately 4 times primarily because of the location. Their guacamole is good bite pricey. I had the chicken fajitas, which came with 70 percent peppers and onions and 30 percent chicken. The side of rice it comes with was ridiculously small. On the last visit to Mole, I had the Mexican style quesadilla with a Side of black beans. It was ok. My friend had the shrimp in garlic sauce with rice. Nothing to rave about. The waiter was an Asian man who was sarcastic but sort of funny/borderline rude. What really was the icing was when I was waiting for the restroom and I saw a baby mouse running past the bathroom. For the prices they charge and location, they should be on top of things like this.

Can’t go wrong with Mexican food when fresh! The food was delicious, tasty and zesty. Come try them out and order a drink and a taco of course. Décor is beautiful and adds to the authenticity

If I could rate this restaurant 0 stars I would. My waiter stole from me and was rude the whole time. Let me elaborate. Since the minute I sat down with a friend of mine he was rolling his eyes at us. My friend ordered soup and asked for corn tortillas. He didn’t tell her tortillas came with the soup and charged her for an extra order. When she told the woman who brought our fold that she only wanted one order she couldn’t even speak English. When I got my check I payed 20 dollars cash and asked him to put the rest on my card. By the time I had gotten home the FULLBILL amount was charged to my card. All I can guess is he pocketed my 20 dollars. Even after I wrote 20 was in cash on the receipt. Now I’m down 46 dollars for shitty service and mediocre food. Will be telling everyone who eats out about this place and to avoid it. Can’t believe someone could be so low. Wish I could remember the waiters name… DONTGO

Great Mexican food. I had their tacos which were perfect. Service was friendly, helpful and quick
