Ordered a pitcher of the lime mojito for $ 20 during happy hour. A bit too sweet for me(and I really like sugary drinks) but strong considering both my guy friends got pretty buzzed off of it. Bull ride was very entertaining. Great entertainment value considering the prices during happy hour plus the fact that it wasn’t too packed/loud so I could hear my friends without shouting.

Do they realize this is a business? And they need to treat people with respect! Worst customer service ever!

If you like to be rushed when eating, have waiters constantly hitting your back while reaching for your friends’ unfinished dishes, unnecessarily loud music, constant radio commercials from the DJ??, and overpriced food — THISISTHEPLACETOBE. We went for a friend’s birthday party — rushed us so that they can make the area we were eating at a dance floor, and served dessert on 3 platters for 15 people — lovely. Also, don’t leave if you’re going out for a smoke, they charge you 10 $ to get back inside and pat you down. It’s a pretty hectic hookah bar/restaurant/ranch/dance club venue. Business at its finest. The mechanical bull was great, $ 6 plus signed waiver. Guava juice was great; unfortunately the only two worthwhile attractions.

If only you can give a place 0 stars, because that’s what VivaToo deserves. I love a good Latin spot and don’t even mind paying extra for quality, but the food and drinks are OK. Now, the staff is terrible, I can’t believe this place still exists. Waiters literally yell at you to get out the way. I’ve been here 3 times and every time was a horrible experience.

I would have gave more stars if the Hostess didn’t tell me I had to wait another 1hr and 45min, I understand it’s Cinco de Mayo but when we first arrive you tell us there aren’t any table, we say fine, then the hostess tells us to come back on Half and Hour and see, okay fine we did that, but a party of 2 come and she puts there name on a list, like excuse me, I have been here since half and hour before, so I went up to her and mentioned hey we have been here already for half an hour and you didn’t ask us to give a name and number. Then she gave me an attitude and then put me on the list! Fine I let it go, I know she is under stress, but my whole thing, why didn’t you just put my name on the list from the beginning. Any who, after that we got seated half and hour later, so not that bad after we were put on the list for a table!!! Food was great and our waitress was great as well, Giselle couldn’t have been more great, despite all of the busyness of others. Definitely would come back.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome food! Will definitely come back! My husband and I had the Enchiladas, I had the frozen Mojito and he had Cachaça on the rocks! We were too full to try the Mechanical bull!

Don’t go here if you are going to see a tipico band! No vayan pa ya mi gente! From pushed around rudely to horrible service, i cant imagine ever going back to this place! I almost wished they had denied my friend who was using someone else’s ID,(she’s only 18) so we wouldn’t had experienced this bad night! We got a bottle and saw the bottle girl twice, when she asked what bottle and when she brought the bill! Didn’t check up on us after that. And actually asked her for something else and never saw her again! Don’t waste your time! I didnt try the food so im not commenting on it! Just the nightlife portion of it. Bad hospitality!

Tonight i went out with my friends to see one our favorite tipico bands, Urbanda. When we arrived we could tell the place was going to be difficult because of how many people were already there. A bottle girl asked us if we wanted a bottle and we said yes so she got us one and brought it to the tiniest communal table in the middle of two huge groups. It isnt her fault though, its the way the place is set up. There is no coordination whats so ever. And lets not even get into the bouncers or whatever they were(Big guys with flashlights) these guys could care less if they blind you with their flashlights. They also push you around like CRAZY. I lost count of how many times those guys pushed me out the way to make their way through us. Yes it was a crowded place but ive been to many crowded places. And i have never been pushed around as many times as i got pushed this time. Everyone was getting pushed by those guys to be honest. That isnt right, the flashlight is to kind of let people know when their coming through so we can make space but they dont even give you time to make space. They fling you. And this sucks if your in high a** heels. Like my friend said, she wishes the electric bull came to life and went into attack mode. My review only pertains to the club scene part of it, not the actual restaurant itself with food and drinks and all that stuff. I wish i could go back to try that side of it out but I will most likely never return.

If you ever plan on going to this place to enjoy a band or dance and have fun don’t come here the food I’ve never tried but the nightlife here is horrible. I went and left early because it was so bad don’t waste your time. Marthitas is 15 min away I would prefer you to go there in a heartbeat viva toro sucks. The service here is horrible the body guards have no manners and push around and the bottle service sells you a bottle and never worry about checking up on you after you buy it. This place really sucks.

I like this spot. If you wanna let loose, ride a bull, and pop a bottle that’s not as overpriced as the city then just head to this spot. I can’t really comment on the food since I really can’t remember what it tastes like but it’s nice come on a weekend, eat and then party. You can’t beat the convenience. We got a table and just bought a kettle one for about $ 150 which isn’t bad for a bottle. The type of spot you really don’t have to try too hard, doesn’t require much planning or money.

I came here for my friends birthday dinner a pre fixed menu was suppose to be the $ 45NOT $ 55 dollar(THEYGOTTHAT wrong) by far the worse food I EVERSPENDMYMONEYON. SONOTWORTHIT. I had the grilled sirlon steak with mash potatoes, spinach. First the steak was chewy & a lot of fat. The mash potatoes were horrible & the spinach taste mushy. The dessert was horrible so cold like they purchased it frozen & just served it on the plate. Then I went to use the restroom 1 bathroom was clogged with vomit & it was only 8 o’clock no soap to wash your hands. Thank god I had my own anti bacterial soap in my bag. So how is the women staff washing their hands. Then as the nite was getting later the crowd was very very ghetto lots of pushing the bouncers & their annoying flashlight EVER! Ordering a drink is impossible because it’s so packed & people give you dirty looks when saying excuse me to make your way to order a drink. And everyone in there is a baller at $ 100 dollars for bottle service the cheapest ever lol? So yeah the VIP is packed so its not even worth it to get a bottle because all you want to do is run out of there! I WILLDEFNEVEREVERBEBACKHEREAGAIN! THEWORST $ 71DOLLARS I SPENDONFOODFORONE person. Completely dissapointed! Went out for a girls night out, arrived, place is like a hallway, then there is this set of stairs which takes you to an upper level which is literally the size of a fitting room at forever 21. the bartender was nice, the guy thats behind the counter(skinny dude) was soooo rude when we approached him to ask him the cost of riding the toro. He screamed at the bouncer telling him to tell us to go around. Disgusting!!! The bouncers are constantly flashing their lights to get you moving so there is no where to stand or sit. The bar downstair is full of people making it a mission to order a drink!!! Wont ever be back!

Never ever coming to this place again. After making a reservation and coming 30minutes before the reservation time my whole party had to wait 2 hours. Yes two hours! First they made us wait 30minutes after our reservation. Then, when I went to check with the hostess on she said she had us marked as being seated and that our tables were given to someone else. She then continued to lie giving us wait time is 10 minutes eight different times. Then she forwarded us to another lady who said she was the manager and she also continued to give us more wait time. She also lied and she was actually NOT the manager. To my surprise the manager was Carlos who was very rude and nasty. As a manager he should’ve apologized for their mistake and for his staff being unprofessional and having us wait all this time but instead he said and I quote«we can either find u another table and you wait or you can leave. Those are your options». After waiting 2 hours they sat us at a table where two people were left without a seat. Yes more waiting. I was so annoyed that I didn’t even enjoy the rest of my time at this place. Never again! And let’s talk about the food. The food was subpar and blah. Definitely nothing exciting about the place. I guess people just come to ride the bull but I’ll pass.

First we made reservation and got confirmation but they don’t have our reservation in the system and it took a while to get seated. Drinks– watered down beers and the cocktail tasted bad! Food– ordered this shrimp dish that costed $ 20+ and came out to be 8 shrimps(tiny) mixed in fried rice. How in the world they charge this dish $ 20+? Overall bad experience and even though prize isn’t expensive but food I ordered worth like $ 7 or less but they charged me $ 20+

Will never come to this place again food was decent sever is not in tune with the menu came in for a lite bite & ended up spending $ 60 for a meal an app &2 drinks on a Sunday when happy hour is «all day» $ 11 per drink that was supposed to be $ 5 as per happy hour when we went to pay & noticed the bill we were surprised asked what exactly was the happy hour & they pointed to a small print at the bar that said«happy hour frozen.» I’m in the service industry & the money is not the principle it’s the fact that the service was not up to par then having to be charged $ 11 for drinks that are advertised as $ 5 is aggravating would never even try to come back to this place & language was not a factor I speak both English & Spanish which is even more frustrating

Stopped by here after taking a trapeze class with my husband since they had Happy Hour. Their margaritas were superb! They were in the top 5 list of the best margaritas I’ve had in my life. When I ordered a plate of nachos, I was surprised to receive what looked like soft tacos with sour cream on top. It still tasted good but it’s not an authentic Mexican restaurant as it claims. I came again on another night for my friend’s Bachelorette party. It cost each of us $ 10 for entry. It was super-packed that night but the music was great. I didn’t notice this but my friends complained that we were really the only ones dancing and everybody else on the dance floor was staring at us. But that’s not the place’s fault… that was just the type of crowd that was there that night. The only thing that bothered me was that there was a photographer who kept on taking our pictures since we were dressed as superheroes but I never found our pictures on the bar’s website. The photographer had even given us his card, which titled him as the bar’s photographer. Seriously annoyed me because I planned to make a special framed gift for the girls with those pictures. In overall, I think this place deserves 4 stars because I did have a good time and enjoyed their food even though they were not nachos.

We went here during happy hour. It was my sisters graduation celebration. We ordered a few appetizers and Non-alcoholic beverages. My mom ordered a piña colada, which tasted pretty good, until we found a spider in it. A big black long legged spider. We have, at this point, eaten three orders of guacamole and three orders of empanadas. The manager tells us he can comp us on a meal and a drink. Our bill came up to $ 100. WTH Viva Torro. SPIDERS in drinks. I wish I had a picture.

Had dinner here on a Friday night and didn’t realize this place turns into a club or something with loud music, non stop announcements by the DJ, and an interesting crowd. Got the guacamole and a combo plate with shrimp, carne asada, and plantains. Also had a cadillac margarita to take part in the«fiesta». The food was decent and the drink was average. A little pricey for what it is. Don’t think I will be back though, a bit touristy.

This was one of my stops on my bar hoppybirthday! I ordered a Mojito and it was so weak that I decided to switch up and have a Margarita on the Rocks it was equally weak. The place was empty and the service was definitely lackluster. I decided to leave and hit the German bar next door I just know I could not go wring with a great IPA.
