Yes, it was a rainy night so I knew to be patient. But instead of ordering, I came into the restaurant and had to wait 35 minutes for take out for three rolls. Honestly, regardless of what the food is like, that’s a really long time to wait for take out. So sad, I wanted to like this place.

I ate food from here twice… great sushi for being in this area. Quick delivery time. Nice staff and delivery people. I would definitely keep coming back when im in mood for sushi. Their Super California roll is delicious. A little untraditional but it’s a great spin on an amazing classic. Not a fan of their shumai but I’ll just pass on that in the future.

Consistently decent. I eat here often actually. The Teriyaki salmon is great, and the shumai is a must try. They beat Sakura Tokyo hands down in quality of food, but the service leaves much to be desired, like seriously smile dang it I’ve lived in this area for years gentrification bought you here, I’m begrudgingly supporting this madness the least you can do is smile… and ffs If I order 3 rolls of sushi one container of soy sauce will not be enough, and who eats that much wasabi?

Pathetic attempt to bring Japanese food to the«hood». Fast food crap! Seriously one of the worst tasting Japanese food I have ever experienced. NOTHANKS

Since all I eat is avocado rolls these days,(no, seriously… one week in a row) I searched for a Japanese place near my job for takeout and my coworker suggested this place. Man, the prices had me like whaaaaat? It’s very inexpensive which is great but also puzzling since most Japanese places are pricey. Anyway, I ordered a lunch special; a choice of two types of rolls with a side salad for just over $ 8. It was hella good although I could have done without the pink colored ginger. It tasted like it had dye in it but could just be my paranoia since it had a bitterness to it. I prefer fresh, untouched ginger.

Ordered the super California and dynamite roll and both were very good. Delivery was quick and prices were good too. My only thing is I ordered like a half hour before closing bc I was so hungry so my review could be slightly biased lol but I’d definitely order from them again!

Great-tasting food for a very low cost. When ordering online, the only time they haven’t arrived before the estimated time of arrival was in a blizzard. Very satisfied with their service, wish I could take them with me when I move.

This place is solid for delivery! I’ve ordered here twice and it’s been both on time and exceeded my expectations. The sushi is cheap and the quality is pretty decent! The rolls are not big by any means, but for the price, it matches. I like the salmon mango roll, spicy tuna roll and seaweed salad. I also tried the teriyaki chicken platter and they give you a lot of food for the price. Not the most amazing quality but for the price and convenience, it hits the spot!

Order delivery from here a lot at work Good, cheap, food. You sure do get your money’s worth. I typically order: Green salad: iceberg lettuce with a wedge of tomato and one cucumber served with tasty ginger dressing(it is served in a small plastic container) Clear soup: very flavorful broth with some mushrooms White tuna sushi(average) Brown rice sushi: Pat roll: sweet potato tempura with avocado and masago on top… yummy! I have also had the chicken teriyaki combination platter which was served atop a bed of rice with a california roll and assorted vegetable tempura. It is a lot of food! :) They do tend to forget little things though like the other day forgot soy sauce!

You would think, that after giving a restaurant repeat business for months, they would do what they could to keep you. As a business owner myself, I wouldn’t be in business for 10 years, if I half assed the service I provided. With that being said, how do you not provide chopsticks with an order, when the order was made online, and it specifically stated a request for chopsticks? I don’t want a fork. I didn’t ask for napkins(they are appreciated), but the one thing I did ask for, I didn’t get, and to top it off, the two drinks I ordered, weren’t even cold. Not ice cold. Just barely above room temperature. That’s horrible, especially when the delivery is prompt(what keeps me from giving them one star). Did they just pull them from the storage room? And who puts a cold salad, in with hot rice and chicken? Enough is enough. This is why I stopped ordering from Hardee’s as well. Once people get comfortable with you, they think they can give you whatever they feel like giving you. I have to be pretty(excuse the expression) fed up with a place, to leave a «negative» testimonial. DOBETTER!

The sushi was not fresh and the customer service was horrible. I came here on a business lunch and my interviewer asked me to order whatever Id like. I’m generally skeptical of sushi spots so I asked for a small Spicy Salmon Roll. My interviewer got some sort of teriyaki combo. When the food came, the cashier/waitress placed the food on the table and walked away. I looked at my sushi and could tell it was not salmon. I am allergic to most seafood so I walked up and asked the woman if it was in fact, salmon. She said«no, it is shrimp, like you asked.» My interviewer asked for shrimp and stated so. Again, she said«that’s what you asked for.» We made it clear, again, that I asked for salmon. And without attitude. However, she rolled her eyes and walked to the back to change it. Five minutes or so later, she comes to the table and slams the salmon roll down and walks away. No apology, no acknowledgment. I was unbothered but found it rude. I also didn’t receive chopsticks or soy sauce, so i got up to ask for some. Upon my asking, she looks at the table and states«I already gave you one.» In fact, my interviewer was using the soy sauce for his sushi. I point that out to her, she goes LITERALLY less than one step behind her, grabs a new soy sauce container, and hands it to me. On top of all of that, the sushi wasn’t even good. Better luck next time. Never coming back to this dump. Oh, and they were made aware of their customer service skills– respectfully– upon our departure. If it wasn’t already paid before receiving the food, they may have been out of luck.

For delivery only, I’ll give em 4 stars. Would say 3.5, but noooo. First off, delivery is super quick, with an absurdly low $ 8 minimum(perfect for those solo sushi cravings). But if the sushi’s crap, who cares? Well, the sushi is not quite crap. It’s not quite on par with a place like Inaka on Vanderbilt Ave(Prospect Heights). But, it’s much fresher than those weird Sushi Tatsu I, II, III places; or any other weird sushi delivery spot. I would gladly recommend Masago to a friend in search of decent, cheap sushi. But, I would not recommend anything with avocado(mushy). Tip your delivery peeps well for good karma.

So basically I’ve only ordered from here a few times on seamless and each time my order has been incorrect. Now the sushi itself is pretty good, but it’s very disappointing to order one thing and receive another. Once they forgot my eel avocado rolls, those are my favorite, so much heartbreak. Another time they forgot to replace the white rice with brown rice and the last and final time I will order from here they forgot one of the rolls I ordered all together.

I have only ever ordered delivery from Masago(through ), but I’ve done this a few times now and feel confident I can stand behind my bestowing of five stars. The prices are VERY reasonable and the sushi is FRESH. My food has always been delicious and they haven’t messed up an order or forgotten an item. I’ve never waited longer than 30 minutes for delivery, and the delivery person is always friendly and pleasant. (I used to order from Sushi Tatsu II, but after several times being yelled at by the delivery person ‘to come outside now’, they won’t see me again. I am happy to come downstairs if need be, but to go OUTSIDE? Dude, that’s why I’m ordering. If I was dressed and ready to go outside, I’d just keep walking and eat out!

After ordering delivery from this place(not my first time ordering from here, I might add), I found a worm in the edamame, thew out the whole order, & they refused to give me a full refund. Actually only writing this review because they refused to give me a full refund. That’s just bad customer service, & not to mention, disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. At all. Ever. You’re better off ordering from the guys on the street.

I’m here now actually, the rice is hard. Really hard like little white sandy bits. The Godzilla roll was slimy with all the avocado– for $ 26 you’d think the sashimi would melt in your mouth. Instead the only thing that has melted has been my confidence in this place. Won’t be back. 2 stars for… Having sushi

We’ve ordered from here many times. Food is fresh and comes in decent portion. What I liked: Eel Avocado roll, beef teriyaki bento box. My husband had their shrimp tempura and it was a little soggy. Nostrand roll had ridiculous amount of mayo. Will stick to what I liked when ordering.
