35 years I’ve been going to different Barber shops/​salons all over the place from Park Avenue to the projects in Brooklyn., I could never find A good barber anywhere. So Then one day I decided to run around the corner from my dads when I was visiting and that’s when I met JOSE. Needless to say the guy is seriously great. And what makes it even better is he has the patience of a saint, because I know I can be a pain in the ass when I get in that chair and he still deals with me and I always walk about happy.

Listen to me. This is not a fancy salon. But the talented Jose will cut your hair so deftly and perfectly that you’ll wonder why you ever went anywhere else. I was so thrilled when I saw the end result I almost started crying. But that would have been weird.
They aren’t calling the place Lucky’s any more, but it’s still right on the corner of Quentin and East 31. An unsung Brooklyn treasure.

Did you ever want to get a great, reasonably priced haircut in a friendly atmosphere? If yes, then this is the place for you. The beauticians there give you a first-​class haircut without the attitude that you get from more «elite» places. I swear by Jose, while my cousins love the owner, Debbie. Highly recommend!
