Food compares well to other similar joints around the area. Still cheap(but not as cheap as some). Staff was friendly and helpful.

I am speaking of the Halsey stop location. Warning: these people are extremely dismissive and rude if your not some type of spanish. I have heard that numerous other people from this neighborhood feel the same way… don’t waste your time supporting people who don’t appreciate your business. Angie’s is a few blocks up the street, and her and her staff are a lot more welcoming and honestly… their food is far better.

Don’t be fooled by outside appearances. This little joint has a great value and a good product and friendly staff. We were pretty blown away by how affordable and good it was. We literally got two breakfasts with coffee for seven dollars.

Me and my girlfriend ate here for dinner May 31st, 2014. Chicken was dry but rice and beans were good. I was willing to give it another shot another time, as I’m sure they have something else I would find delicious. However literally on the walk home, which is a block away, my girl was slammed with what turned out to be food poisoning. We spoke with a nurse at 4:00 am who recommended we come in. I would have taken her to the ER1 subway stop away, but she couldn’t get up to walk. After some really tense moments, my girl decided not to go to the hospital. If anything, this restaurant made me get all my emergency information in order. I found out how much an ambulance cost, who to call, I questioned our lives, bought gatorade, etc… Our weekend plus several days are ruined, but my life skills are in order so… 1 star.

This spot is in Brooklyn right off the JMZ Myrtle Broadway stop. I come here for their Cuban sandwiches, beef empanadas, and tres leches treats. This spot has great deals. If you are into greasy Latino food, this spot will hit the right spot! SUPER affordable(cuban sandwiches are $ 5 and empanadas are $ 1 each). Their chicken empanadas are kinda dry though, their beef ones are more on point, but empanadas sell out fast! Keep that in mind. Their breakfasts are also tasty enough and quite inexpensive! Definitely a great drunk or stoned-and-in-need of munchies spot! There’s also a discount liquor store 2 shops down, so if u are looking to party in bushwick, but dont wanna puke from drinking heavily on an empty stomach, bring $ 7-$ 8 to Loma and load up on delicious platters most Latinos are raised on. Already loaded or hungover? Loma has your back! Like I mentioned, their breakfasts are on point and will cut that alcohol like a samurai katana on softened butter! Oh yea, if u can order in Spanish, do it… U get shown more love! But this staff is overall friendly! Few tables to sit down, pretty legit!
