This place is decent and an alright default but it won’t blow your mind and prices are ticked up a little higher than all the tacos and burritos joint around. The cooks and food is good. Service is bearable. A place of convenience but no reason to share.

Ground beef or grilled chicken nachos to stay are awesome, also the grilled spicy beef burrito and chipotle chicken burritos go hard. I eat this place probably once every couple weeks, nice California style burritos to contrast all the authentic Mexican in the neighborhood.

My most recent neighborhood obsession! So far, I’ve tried the jerk chicken burrito and the jerk chicken quesadilla and they were both fantastic. The chicken was very juicy and tender, the staff was extremely friendly, and the prices were cheap! You really can’t top that. Plus, they have a ton of in house desserts they make as well. I cannot wait to come back and try the other dishes all of them sound so delicious!

All of the burritos come with omelettes inside of them which makes for a really gross un-mexican-like taste. Will not order again.

I order from here regularly because the food is decent and affordable and they have gluten free options on their menu. Sometimes their orders arrive a bit messy but I see it as a pretty minor inconvenience as long as I am getting the right order and it’s warm. Yesterday’s order was a total disaster though. We’re sick with the flu and ordered some food to get us through the weekend. When the food arrived they had forgotten the seltzer water, the flan was burnt and the plastic container it came in was broken. The caramel had spilled all over the rest of my order and the kitchen counter so I had to clean a lot of sticky residue before being able to eat my lunch. When I called Grubhub later that evening, the restaurant’s manager refused to refund me 3 miserable dollars for the flan because we did not return it! Why would they want me to return a sticky burnt mess that went straight to the garbage or waste some delivery guy’s time over such a minor thing? Grubhub gave me a $ 3 credit but this didn’t end here like I thought it would. I usually meet the delivery person at the door, because they have a very tiring job and I don’t want them to have to go upstairs to every building they go to, but for some reason yesterday’s delivery guy sprinted upstairs which is what I think what caused the whole flan fiasco. This morning I got a very angry visit from my landlord demanding a very expensive cleaning fee because there was a track of sticky gross caramel all over the stairs and several carpets that lead to our apartment on the 3rd floor. This could have been avoided if he had just met us downstairs like usual, halfway through or if he had walked instead of running upstairs carelessly to save 30 seconds. He might have been in a rush but the biggest part of his job is to deliver the food warm and resembling what came out of the restaurant’s kitchen. The food was warm, just covered in caramel, like most of the walk-up to my apartment as I unfortunately found a couple hours ago. This is costing me $ 100 in cleaning fees on top of the time I wasted trying to use the GrubHub iPhone app to report the issue(it does not work, so instead I got to talk to a very unempathetic customer service representative). I know shit happens and sometimes food gets spilled, but I was too sick to realize my bag was covered in sticky caramel until I accepted the order, the delivery guy was gone and I just wanted to eat whatever wasn’t covered in sticky sweet stuff because we were both sick and starving. So this is the story of how a $ 52 delivery order to last me and my husband through this sick weekend turned into a $ 152 order I will always regret. I am a generous tipper because I have worked in the service industry before, but I will never tip in advance, eat flan or order from LA Burrito ever again. I feel gross and sticky just typing this review. Ya blew it big time!!!

My go to delivery mexican food. Always fresh and great portions. I also love that they actually follow special instructions you write on the online orders so I actually get exactly what I want every time. The delivery is always fast and friendly.

Just ordered a 60.00+ of food from this place and I called them due to the tacos were discussing. They were wet! Unable to eat. Think they would provide a credit or something. Nope! The tacos were wet in some white sauce!

Was great when I moved to Bushwick a year and a half ago but now It’s just okay if I am in a real pinch. I sometimes eat here if it it too cold outside or I am too tired to go anywhere else. But I would not necessarily say it it the best, especially now that the prices have been raised too high. In addition, the customer service needs to be worked out. The orders are frequently wrong, so you have to check everything before you leave. They also try to charge you for every little thing you ask for. I asked for hot sauce on my food and the guy tried to charge me an extra dollar. You can go two stops on the L to Grand St. and have La Gringa, which is better food at comparable prices.

This is a shame to write, because this place used to be solid. But i ordered two days ago and got ice cold mediocre at best food an hour and 10 minutes after I ordered. Then today, I ordered a large guacamole(5.50) and got no chips. When I called, I was informed that people just«put it on their food». $ 5. Worth of guac. Just put it on their food. No chips to dip. It’s for food. Not to mention it was 20 min late and cold. Sorry la burrito. Off the list.

SOGOOD I love mexican food. I am colombian so I know how close it can get to the real thing. It was amazing! Not only is it cheap but so delicious. Try the corn on the cob(the sauce is heaven), the veggie burrito is very good, and the steak tacos are perfectly seasoned. Love this place, def my taco joint.

Good service and overall good meal! The guac didn’t seem the freshest. Also saw they microwaved my shrimp for the taco and not sure how I feel about that. Wasn’t as cheap as I thought it would be either. But reasonable sizes for what you pay(the burrito was giant!)

As a vegan, I was super pumped when I found this option in my neighborhood! I ordered the super veggie burrito with soy cheese and tofu sour cream. I can’t believe they have vegan options for cheese that actually taste good! The chips and guacamole were delicious as well. So happy to have this place near me! Edit: I had a pretty bad stomach ache the next morning, so I probably won’t be ordering from here again! Ugh! It was delicious though!

Everything about L.A. Burrito is very average. Service is not friendly, but not rude. Food portions are a standard size and not exceptionally tasty. This is where you go for convenience, when you don’t want to walk more than a block to the numerous Mexican restaurants in Knickerbocker. Be very careful of the desserts. I was lucky enough to receive a piece of Mexican Flan with a hint of mold on top. I returned the product for another dessert and got a hardly audible«sorry» muttered under the employee’s breath. I expected more, especially since I was courteous enough to wait until other customers were not within earshot of the conversation. Tread carefully when ordering the desserts, as they may have been sitting in the case for quite some time.

After one of my friends told us about this spot, one of my friends was stirring about this place. So we decide to eat here, they are a bit pricey, and the place is not that big. I order the beef fajita without beans; although they almost put beans into my disk, they have to be very careful when a customer makes a special request, they do not know if the customer is allergic to what he said not to put on plate, but in my case is that I do not like beans, but I’m paying for my service and as such I hope they pleased my requests, thanks God I realized when the cook was cooking my disk and saw he was going to add some beans into my fajitas, so I told him I order the fajita without beans, he went to the server to make sure that was true, the server confirm that the beef fajita was without beans. The amount of food was a lot, lots of garlic, peppers, onions, rice, and beef; I also made an extra order of shrimp. But the quality was not good, I did not like the taste, I had better fajitas in others places.

Got delivery through Seamless. IMHO they did everything right. Delivery was as-expected. Nachos and burritos were so good we’re still talking about them. Definitely on the reorder list!

Not bad, not spectacular. The super fair prices gain them an extra star. Service is consistently quick and friendly eating in and for delivery. seating is limited but sufficient. You can see the cooks prepare your food and they always seem clean. My boyfriend gets the chicken mole burrito and he enjoys it every time. I’ve had their nachos, burritos, tacos, and cheesecake… All pretty good. The nachos and tortillas are crunchy, not stale… always a plus! Not a ton of seasoning and special treatment goes into the flavor, just standard Mexican style fast-food. If you are looking for a quick eat and want reliable mex food, I recommend this spot. They also stock jarritos beverages, I strongly recommend the tamarind flavor! I’ve also had their flan and rice pudding. The flan is good, the rice pudding was aight.

I always pass this place and finally decided to try it for lunch. I walked in and gave the lady mu order and told her 2xs and in spanish to make sure she got my order right. I ordered for my Co worker as well and when we got back what some of us ordered wasn’t in the bag. Boooo. I ordered the Mexican corn which was pretty good and flavorful, chili chicken soup(they gave me vegetable chili) which was oily and couldn’t finish it & a chicken burrito my Co worker tried. Nothing wow’d me and I won’t be ordering these items again. Burrito was bland and none of us finshed our meals.

Nothing too great here in my view. The service gets two stars — friendly and relatively quick. Other than that — not a whole lot more. I ordered the tacos and they did not sit well with me. I just didn’t find them appealing and afterwards I did not feel great :-). Perhaps this is an option for the late night crowd(post — drinking) — but even that would not do it for me, I think. The prices are competitive and you get an adequate amount of food, so I can understand why this place sticks around. But there has to be better options in the neighborhood — not the only game in town by a long shot. The inside is average — decent amount of room — I came at night and there were only a few people. Several did takeout. Not sure I’d make it back… if I do it would have to be after consuming some alcohol.
