Thumbs Up!!! Hubby loves their Kobe Beef Slider. My Burger was good and juicy(not the best I ever had but it was good) Kent also satisfied our wing craving. Their Beer selection is endless but you can do a Flight and try many.

Great place to watch sports. Lots of TV’s that queue up everything that’s popular. Way cooler than Croxleys sports bar which blows in my opinion. Kent Ale house toffee bacon popcorn is a crowd pleaser as are the amazing truffle fries. Plenty of craft beers on tap served up cold and the service is spot on.

Great bar on a Main Street in Williamsburg. It’s nice to sit outside and relax or by the window and people watch. If your going to this bar for sports on Sunday’s, I would recommend getting here early or early evening. You’re not going to get a seat during prime viewing. They have a great selection of beers, not too pricey, and have some awesome food!

Twenty-four beers on draft, awesome ambience and a REAL bartender(Garron)that is knowledgeable, speedy and super-friendly. A great view of the Empire State Building and Manhattan is visible from the bar. A great place to pre-game, or to bring that special somebody you’ve had your eye on.

We hosted a private event in the back room of the Kent Ale House and it worked really well. It was a nice place to bring together a select group of friends/family for dinner, and then others could join us later in the bar. The food service was a little disorganized(people got their food at all different times) but maybe that was because we were a large group(about 30 ppl). Siobhan was the manager we worked with leading up to the event, and she was a gem.

Kent is a nice place to grab a late afternoon beer or two, with decent happy hour specials. In my admittedly limited experience with New York bars, I haven’t found that many with outstanding beer selections, but Kent has one of the better selections I came across. I didn’t order food, but would come back to do that some time. I can’t really tell if Kent Ale House is a really old bar or just one that’s made to look that way, but it has a nice, worn look to it. There are also retractable windows and a nice view of the Empire State Building.

Food was alright, I got the grown up grilled cheese(pepper jack, arugula and pulled pork) with fries. It wasn’t fabulous but it wasn’t bad. Fries were soggy and lacked flavor. The service was super slow and not really friendly. Super lucky for them to be across the street from Brooklyn Flea, however. Looks like if you lived in the neighborhood it’d be the bar to go to for drinks and board games with friends — but I feel like you can get that a lot of places these days. Perhaps today was an off day, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to visit again.

Can’t say it is the best place ever but the outdoor seating is really nice. It is really a hybrid bar with three separate areas where you can chill and get your drink on. The main part when you walk in is typical sports bar with tv screens all over, next there Is a smaller room for private meetings or functions, sort of like VIP area or just perfect for a birthday or UYE. Lastly there is a small outdoor let’s say small room to just chill, drink, eat your food and act silly outside. Service was great here especially considering how busy it was the day I was here for North side Festival. I passed by again this past weekend and everyone out look like they enjoying just being outside in the sun. Recommend this bar even just to come for a quick drink in Williamsburg, Jameson drinks were on deck and beer was consumed when I attended this place.

Came during a Brooklyn Flea Sunday, service was slow, food even slower(but delicious honestly, first star earned), wasn’t explained happy hour deals or anything about the ale house which you’d expect evenmoreso to be prepared for traffic from Brooklyn Flea. Only good experience was the host outside accommodating our seating advising us to stay away from the table with the heat vent. The second star is for him!

There is outdoor side seating, a small enclosed patio in thé rear, an expansive front bar and lots of wide, flat screen télévisions for your viewing pleasure. This place earned one star for thé wonderfully, well spaced layout that never really seems cramped. Another star earned for the ample screens that display rugby and fútbol back to back. Another star for thé service which was courteous and efficient even amidst thé Northside festival swarm along with free drinks which led to extra exuberance. Bathrooms are efficient, food seems solid(athough all I did was sample some in passing), and thé views from this location could really set thé mood if you’re in on a quiet evening. I would definitely return to try more of their offerings and to check out anything I missed.

I came to this bar on a rainy day and it was just peaceful. I ordered a vodka tonic for a decent price and will definitely come back soon to try their food! Kent Ale House is a perfect place for those who are going to a show at Rough Trade or celebrating a soccer win at the park across the street.

Good beer list and ok service but unforgivable fried pickles. They’re cut into weird small pieces instead of either chips or spears. They’re also fried in a batter instead of a breading so you’re left with oddly shaped batter clusters with a little bit of pickle. I would avoid them unless you like wasting money.

Came here around noon on Mother’s Day. Across the street from smorgasburg, had the Beet+goat cheese salad… was super disappointed. Not enough beets, had the choice of adding shrimp or meat and in hindsight should have. Had the flower power beer Service was a bit underwhelming but it was Mother’s Day.

This was a great place to get out of the rain in Brooklyn. After the brewery had a huge line, as did bowling, we popped in here to dry off and get a snack. I tried a fantastic Strawberry Kiwi Cider(think: adult capri sun). We also had a basket of fries which were plentiful and delicious. One great thing about Kent Ale House is how it plays games on the many televison sets they have. My fiancé asked that they put on the URI basketball game, and even with a few other games going on, they turned it on on the tv nearest to him. So nice!

Great place to watch football. It has like 10 tvs. I saw a flyer and they also play Soccer games. The cocktails are delicious. I also had Brunehaut Blonde Ale Belgium. Yummy! We had the giant pretzel which was delicious.

I love this place! Have been a couple times and sat both at the bar and in a booth. The beer selection is nice and diverse and I appreciate that they had hot cider for the season. The menus look amazing but for now I’ve only had a burger which was perfection, and the fried pickles which were very tasty.

I came here on Sunday around 4pm. Pretty crowded, and managed to find a table in the back room. Service was excellent. The chili dogs were disappointing. What was supposed to be chili was really ground beef with melted cheese on top of the dogs. Fries were good though. The veggie burger is more like a black bean burger. A little burnt on the outside too. What you would expect on tap. Really enjoyed the service since our food was a bust.
