Just Salad

Salads are good and decent varieties. Would give a three but the girls making the salad the day I went seemed like they didn’t want to be thier and let it be know. Would’ve given a 1 but the girl on the register was friendly and nice. Said good night like she meant it. That’s good service would’ve give. A 4 just for her settled on a 2. Get rid golf these workers.

Two years later and I still love coming here, even when I walk in minutes before closing everyone is great. A shout out to Elena, Carlos, Ashely, Znai and the rest of the crew.

This is my second review, I thought I’d give it another chance but again, same thoughts. Salads are pretty good but it depends who’s working. I used to go almost every day. There are some great people that work there that are friendly who give exceptional service. Others like today, very poor service! Went after 3:30. The girl serving me obviously didn’t want to be there, she was on her cell then once she served us, she asked me what dressing i wanted, chopped my salad up real quick, didn’t even give me a chance to say how I wanted it chopped, and without me noticing poured dressing until it was drenched and then asked if she should stop. We sat down to eat, she went back to her cell phone while listening to offensive rap in the background. Seems like there’s no one in charge on Sundays.

I’ve been to this location 3 times & received the BEST customer service Ive ever gotten in Brooklyn! My last visit was on a Friday night 20 minutes before they closed. I thought that by walking in that late they would be rushing me out. however, I received no bad looks, no bad attitudes, only smiles & cool vibes! I want to commend the staff that was working there that night

I personally took the time to get all of their names because I feel they deserve recognition. No manager was on staff and everyone was still giving 110%… very commendable!

Gotta give a big shout out to this place their salads and two of its employees Trisina and Znai who always have a smile and positive attitude no matter how busy they get. Keeps me coming back!

I love their spicy smokehouse steak wrap on the incredibly rare occasion that they remember to include the smokey poblano ranch dressing that I always order and is included in the price. If my dressing is included, my colleagues are usually without the dressing that they ordered for their dry and disappointing sandwiches and salads.
They also frequently forget our drinks.
The size of the same sandwich also varies considerably from day to day — sometimes a nice filling portion and other days more of a snack size.
Delivery is unpredictable and has taken up to 90 minutes, making it an impractical for workday lunches when one would most like to enjoy this sort of healthy meal.
Calling to inquire about late delivery or missing items is an exercise in frustration since you can only reach their main headquarters phone number, not the actual store on Seventh Avenue. They are not able to bring missing items within our lunch period.
Emailing their office about the problem still doesn’t help. Even when they have comped us items on a future order, that future order is generally incomplete or takes way too long to arrive.
When the order is right, the food is fresh and delicious. However, they have been messing up our orders for more than a year. Each time, we take a break from them hoping they’ll get their act together but sadly that has never happened.
We would order from Just Salads every week if only they would get our order right. It’s worth mentioning that the items we order are exactly as stated on the menu, nothing specialized or customized, and still they don’t include the dressing that is listed in the basic product description on the menu.
It’s highly disappointing to pay $ 15 (with tax and tip) for a dry sandwich order that doesn’t even include the requested — and paid for — drink to wash it down.
Update: A mere four days after posting this review, we ordered again from Just Salads. They screwed up our order AGAIN — this time by bringing a salad instead of the wrap we ordered. It was delicious but I would really like to receive the food I order instead of a surprise.

Came in late last Sunday night 9/​27, had long day catching up on work, famished, my friend joined me and we rushed in just before close. My friend knew what she wanted, but I was annoying and indecisive and took forever and changed my mind like 4 times. Ashley, Znai and Elena all worked with me at various stages of my salad building process and were awesome. When I changed my mind on dressing twice, Znai remained super flexible and even suggested another one I could taste. As it is, I already love Just Salad and am a big fan, but this just reinforced my desire to put up a good rating. Great salads with delicious /​creative ingredients for a fair price and really friendly employees. I eat there at least 2 – 3 times a week. :)

Points off for taking care of the 3 or 4 Grub hub orders, or whatever it was, while I stood there, the only person in the place waiting for a simple wrap, but it’s good food at a good price, that’s somewhat good for you.
The next 5 people that came in line were out the door in half the time it took me, so, it’s like that, hit or miss with service. The food was very good and filling.

Took them an hour and 40 minutes to make and deliver 2 salads and a soup four blocks away. Once we got our order it was wrong and the soup got us sick. Never again will I order or walk into this place in the slopes again.

I realize that salads have lettuce, but do they really need to have THAT MUCH lettuce, Just Salads? There was hardly anything else in my salad. I felt like a cow grazing in a field of kale.
The place is clean and the staff seems nice, but I wouldn’t say that this is worth $ 9 – 15. Your wallet is better off if you get a bag of lettuce from Trader Joe’s, add some dressing and eat that with a plastic fork at your desk.

I’m beginning to come here often after my workout. The salads are always fresh and tasty. Very customized for personal preference, or you can just go with their flow. Either way you’ll like what you order. The staff behind the counter are very good and friendly and move your order along quickly. I recommend looking through the menu before you’re ready to order so you know exactly what you want. They move things along fast and you have many options. If you’re eating here, chances are you’re an experienced Brooklyn herbivore anyway and will find yourself at home as soon as you step in. I also love how the calories are posted for everything. That’s awesome for anyone who stays on top of their health and diet — which of course you do, or why else would you be eating here :-)
***ALSO — I must mention this– I accidentally overpaid by handing the cashier a $ 20 bill instead of a $ 10 and did not realize it. She came running after me in the street to give me back my change! Just for that alone I’m going to come here often.

Mega disappointed. Ordered, added feta cheese to my order, called customer service (not usually one to complain, but they’re not cheap), was told to email someone with pictures, complied, never received as much as a confirmation.
Just going to walk to Whole Foods…

Is the salad good? Yes. Is it the best that I have ever had? No. Is it worth the price? No. So why do I return? Well I return because I am still looking for a place that makes a good salad close to me. I return because they have a wide section… If it wasn’t for that I would pass.
I also like that they allow you to taste the dressings before you decide… Very helpful.

Today I went to get a salad on my way home from the gym. I walked into this location and there was a little line.
As I approached the front of the line I noticed this female worker taking orders. She wasn’t looking at any of the customers but asking them what they wanted. When I’m finally second in line I listen to the older gentleman order in front of me. He kept repeating his order and she stated: I’m not going to look at you but I’m listening and he said pardon me and she repeated the same thing.
My turn comes next after the guy in front of me orders. I get up there and she doesn’t look at me and says what’s your name, what salad would you like? I stated my name and then when I started to tell her my order she stated: oh you’re building your own salad you’ll have to wait I don’t have time right now. I was shocked. So, I responded I don’t have time right now to give you my order. Crystal was shocked. I left the line and asked for the manager. He approached and I told him what happened and he said sorry and blew me off like it wasn’t a big deal.
I wouldn’t suggest eating her unless you want rude service! Good luck!

After traveling through Central Pennsylvania and Western New York, I was dying for a good salad. While promoting my book in Brooklyn I stumbled across Just Salads and nearly fell to my knees to weep.
The selection was incredibly fresh, and the the choices numerous enough to construct any salad addict’s dream. They also had a great selection of drinks to quench the parched palates of a diverse group of diners.
But by far, the best part of the experience was the service. Trisina (The Topper), Znai (the Chopper), and Elena (The Cashier), despite their WFF titles, were courteous, patient, efficient, and knowledgable. Their service was much better than the very expensive Manhattan restaurant I dined at the night before. They treated each customer like an individual, with kindness and respect.
Thank you ladies! May you be valued for your work ethic, as I will value Just Salads for saving my life with that delicious salad!

I LUV Just Salads. Everything is so fresh, the salads are really delicious. BUT… please get it together, Park Slope Just Salads! The delivery time has been taking over 90 minutes the past couple months. And most times, something is missing — a soda, the extra portion of avocado, the complimentary bread, etc.
We need you– we are new parents and this is our special treat each week.
I love Just Salads, but this particular store needs to up their game!

Not a big salad eater but this definitely gote interested after eating here. They have so many different ideas og salads, cheeses, dressings and toppings! Can never get bored. It’s fresh and oh so tasty.
HOWEVER
This is not a place to eat daily or you’d go broke on salad alone! WOW but it’s filling and you get so much it’s fit for 2 people or 2 different servings lol. TASTY

So good. So many choices. Great variety. As soon as I left I googled one in New Jersey and it’s near my job!
Everything was fresh.
Staff was pleasant.
Store was clean.
Bathroom was really clean.

Everytime I come here it’s the same thing. The workers give attitude or aren’t friendly, and they take FOREVER! You can no longer call your order on for pickup so you are forced to stand on the line or get delivery. I don’t think I will be back the salad is okay and I can get a better one cheaper elsewhere

Great place for a salad. They have every possible salad you could ever imagine. Fattening ones and healthy ones. I really enjoy the chicken Caesar. You get a nice big serving for the price. Tons of choices and a well run store.
