This place is the absolute jam! Amazing selection and unbeatable prices.
Whether you are looking for a pack of Parliament Lights or a six pack of Bud Light tallboys, these guys have you covered!
The only downside (if it is a downside) is that JBC has become such a significant part of my life that I can’t really move further than a block or two radius from this place.

I live around the corner and I come in here when I’m desperate. I am so over this place. I literally bought ½lb. ham, eggs, bread and milk for $ 20 the other day. OUTRAGEOUS! I can get a huge bag of groceries at Trader Joe’s for that price. DO NOT BUY GROCERIES HERE.

A very convenient location and nice than your typical bodega.

I go here to get a sandwich for lunch during the work week.
Food: Sandwiches have quality deli cuts and good cheeses and veggies. Bread is average, nothing to complain about. Got the Good Fella which was the classic combo of prosciutto, mozzarella, basil, and tomato. The menu has tons of variety and options for panini-​style and either basic or gourmet subs. The selection for snacks is great, everything from healthy to decisively unhealthy. Well priced for what you get, the sandwiches are around $ 7 – 8.
Space: Bodega style, no frills, no seating. They stock a ton of products and the place is packed but it’s not hard to move around. Very convenient at the corner of Driggs and 7^th right by the subway stop.
Service: Quick and straightforward, typical deli-​style.
Rating: ⁸⁄₁₀ for the selection, prices, and overall quality. A great easy option to have nearby.

Good sandwiches, very decadent. The Godfather and the John Conti are my favorites.

I’ve been here a few times in the last few months and it’s changed. I don’t ever see joe anymore. Guess he’s busy with other things now and he doesn’t have time for the corner. Things aren’t like they used to be. Sometimes I wish you could just go back to the way things were.
Five stars because I remember I used to love it here.

Clearly an old school corner deli that has learned to adapt to its surroundings. Dark and dingy when you walk in like it was 20 years ago. But lots of local and small batch products being sold for all the dirty hipsters. Had the JBC hero which keeps it old school though. Prefect. Grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers olives and capers on a hero. With a great soft bakery made hero bread. Tastes classic

Joe’s Busy Corner is the quality neighborhood bodega|deli that you really want to live close by. Super well stocked and affordable prices, this place not only offers ease of selection, but also comfort in knowing that whatever you get is going to be good and whatever you’re looking for is probably going to be there.
The Service: quick and convenient like any other deli or bodega you’ve been to. It’s nice that they allow credit cards even if their is a minimum charge ($ 10). But it’s almost impossible not to spend more than that once you see the selection there. The hero sandwich I ordered was made fast, fresh, and warm — exactly what I wanted to get.
The Space: Clean bodega style store on the corner of Driggs and 7^th street close to the Bedford L MTA line. It’s small but spacious considering how much they’ve put in one store. Anywhere from Quest protein bars to Kettle chips to Lagunitas six packs and 5 Hour Energy shots and everything in between — this place is packed with everything you’d ever want. If you want to eat healthy then come here, if you want to eat fatty then come here, and if you want to drink beer, well then definitely come here (although $ 17 for Lagunitas… Really!?)
The Sandwich: I got the the Joe’s Hero ($ 9) — Chicken Cutlet w/​Bacon, Melted Cheddar Cheese, House Dressing on Toasted Hero Bread… Delicious!!! The senses were all filled, the bread was soft yet crunchy, the sweet savory house sauce was a nice layer on top of the tender warm chicken cutlet — so so so good!
The second sandwich I was so fortunate to try was the Goat Cheese Panini ($ 8) filled with grilled chicken, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and pesto… thinking about the melted goat cheese on pesto makes me salivate, and it should do the same for you too. If you’re into complex gourmet sandwiches, this place isn’t for you, but if you’re into delicious hand crafted (relatively) fresh, fast, easy, and most importantly tasty sandwiches then come here.

My personal order: Shock Top beer, Joe’s Hero, and a bag of Kettle Chips

I’m definitely NOT feeling the $ 20 minimum (yeah not even $ 10 but $ 20!!!) shit on Credit/​Debit cards when purchasing Cigarettes. You thought you could get away with that cuz you’re in hipsterville Billyburg? I THINK NOT
I’m surprised this place has such high ratings. Must be all the trust fund babies that write up fake reviews thinking it’s the «chic» thing to do so. There’s nothing special here, it’s a freakin’ bodega for fuck’s sake.

I had the Anthony’s Delight panini today — eggplant, mozzarella and roasted peppers.
It was almost inedible. I watched the cook microwave the eggplant. The bread and eggplant were very freezer burned and hard to eat. I ended up removing the eggplant altogether. There were black olives and capers added in with the roasted peppers. That’s not on the menu, otherwise I would have asked for no olives. The olives were canned and tasted metallic, clearly poor quality.
Maybe their other sandwiches are good, but they really should not be charging $ 7+ for sandwiches with frozen eggplant and frozen bread. Anthony’s Delight should be renamed, it was no delight.

Good beer selection at decent prices. Guy at the counter was really nice as well. $ 10 credit card minimum, but $ 20 if you’re also buying cigarettes.

Nice n fresh sandwich

Some of the absolute best sandwiches in Williamsburg are undoubtedly made at Joe’s Busy Corner.
Not cheap, but not overly expensive either, the dudes behind the counter at Joe’s will hand-​slice everything to perfection on one of their specialty subs/​sandwiches as you browse their impressive cold drinks selection. It’s everything a corner bodega should be – but what most corner bodegas fail to deliver, especially in this part of Brooklyn. Clean, concise, well-​organized, well-​operated, and with remarkably good house-​made food.
Service is super-​quick. The guy behind the register counts money like a god damn banker. You will never see change from a $ 20 fly that fast back into your hand, followed by a ridiculously delicious sandwich in a bag that you can take to go, or eat at the (albeit small) counter.
There is a $ 10 credit card minimum, or a $ 20 minimum if you are also getting tobacco. There’s an ATM on site, but of course it charges you up the ass with fees, so remember to bring cash.
Just by writing this review I am already salivating over the thought of enjoying a «Godfather» sandwich tomorrow.

The food here is dope. If you got blazed and strolled in here, your bank account would be in serious peril. What’s the reason for the two stars? Oh here’s what it is. They have a $ 20 (TWENTY) MINIMUM to use your credit card. Want to know what else they have? AN ATM THAT CHARGES YOU $ 2 (TWO) on each end to take anything out.
So it’s a ruthless vortex we’re talking about here. You walk in banged up, you see pretty much anything/​everything you’d ever want and then all of a sudden you’re like «oh snap I have no cash on me»
This «mandatory minimum» stuff is mad ignorant.

If the bread were better and the cuts thinner the deli would get 5 stars. If the hours were better it’d be my primary stop.

At the lesser used corner, Driggs exit, of the Bedford Ave. stop in Williamsburg. The bodega aspect of the place is a bit heavier on snack food/​on the go treats than over-​priced grocery staples and cereals.
Yes, its not open as late as the Bedford Ave. places because that corner does quiet down a lot faster at night. But…
If you make it there during the day they do have pretty tasty sandos! They’re a couple bucks more than the average run-​of-​the-​mill bodegas but they are much bigger, more filling and have better options for meats, cheeses and sides. For the occasional mix-​up of local eats in the Bedford neighborhood I endorse the Joe’s.

Needed liquor, and since wine wouldn’t cut it, I needed a store that wasn’t wine-​only. Luckily, I stumbled upon Joe’s Busy Corner. Got myself a six-​pack (credit cards accepted) and a friendly staffer rang me up and got me out of there faster than you can say «Joe’s Busy Corner».
I’ll be back for one of their sandwiches.
