Some of the best and consistently tasty green tea ever. This is true if you have the Japanese product. The one from Thailand is not quite as good but it’s close. Im fairly addicted to this stuff and whenever we have it in the office i drink one. Ok Maybe multiples. Its good shite!

Tea is good for the health. So true indeed! I like Ito En teas a lot as it’s tasty despite of not being overly sweetened unlike typical American brand names of Arzona, Snapple to name a few. I truly stand by that Asians are experts in the tea fortie rather than Americans. I WISH Ito En’s products are sold in leading chain pharamacies as Duane Reade, CVS, Rite Aid, etc. as I’ve only seen them Asian delis and Asian supermarkets. That is why I strongly believe Yum Cha warms the heart!

Da fruity flavored teas distributed specifically for the American market(where you can easily find them in most Whole Foods stores, perhaps some deli’s and fancy plus not so fancy places like cough cough«New People» San Francisco) is really nothing to write home about, although they easily kick da competition in da ballsac(take that, Snapple, Lipton, Tazo, Arizona, Republic of Tea, Teavana, and many overly sweetened commercial brands with high fructose corn syrup), But hit up your Japanese or A$N supermarket, and find the OG Japanese Ito-En versions of the following teas — Golden Oolong — Oi Ocha(regular standard brand of green tea, very very good) –Koi Aji Oi Ocha(a darker roast and much richer flavor of the green tea, for those who like it darker and deeper) –the small cans of Sencha or loosely termed Sencha«shots»(which interestingly are only available in western markets like Whole Foods), very pricey but super good. There are others in the lineup not listed, but these flavors you can find hopefully without too much hassle. And WTF… Google employees at the Taiwan office(at theTaipei 101 building) get bottles of Ito En Oi Ocha for FREE! Scroll down to the photo of the drinks in the self help refrigerator, 2nd shelf from the top, right side. And what do I have in my free drink arsenal? High fructose corn syrup sweetened canned tea(two poisons to choose from). Good for my cornhole too. Bastiches.
