Gorgeous clothes and jewelery! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their instagram is a great way to stay up to date on all of their new stuff!

Love the jewelry here! It can be a bit pricey but the service is so great and everyone is helpful and not pushy at all. They have great sample sales and they did an awesome online Mondaze sale during the summer that was really cool! The clothing is also awesome! The designs are amazing and I look forward to each new season!

I’ve received a few IGWT items through the years as gifts. I thought to visit the shops and regret doing so. The girls were so rude to me for no reason after I talked about return policy. I was asking as am honest question and they made me feel like it was a crazy question to even ask. I thought maybe I was maybe taking things wrongly but then I visited this location and experience the same type on noses up in the air attitude. They really need to rework their staffs customer service at both locations. It’s a shame that I have such a sour feeling when I actually like the stuff and wanted to support the shop. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months and will have a better experience.

My fiancé and I, although long-​time Greenpointers, were surprised to find such lovely jewelry options at IGWT while shopping for wedding bands.
It was just a lazy Saturday during the summer when we stumbled inside and noticed their lovely display case featuring a number of simple to fancier options for couples. They offered silver and gold options, varied band thickness as well as different textures (matte versus shiny). My fiancé really liked the thickest option that was hammered silver. It was simple, but still unique and elegant. The price wasn’t bad either at about $ 150 for the ring.
The staff was helpful, sized him and put in a rushed order since we were getting married later that month. We had about 4 weeks to the ring, but they were positive they could do it in time. The rush fee was also extremely reasonable, only about $ 25.
We picked up the ring after about a week — so fast! However, the ring was too big! We didn’t know what to do, so we called and asked their thoughts. He was measured in the store but I guess it was ordered in the wrong size. The manager was so helpful and had us come in for another fitting. She worked with us to decide on the correct size and offered us a temporary ring for the ceremony while they rushed us the real ring. We had a back-​up ring, so it wasn’t necessary but appreciated the offer. She also refunded the rush fee because of the error.
We were super surprised when we got a call a few days before the wedding that the ring was ready! They managed to get another one done on time, a real wedding miracle. The ring fit perfectly and it was absolutely gorgeous. My husband is extremely happy with his ring, which still looks great 6 months later.
I just wanted to thank the manager and staff at IGWT for going above and beyond to ensure my husband’s wedding band was perfect and ready regardless of the ridiculous time constraints. Thank you!

God, I love this place.
Everything from the story of how it started, to the quirky and cozy atmosphere and beautiful product selection. I definitely went in and spent more than I should have but the whole feel of the shop made me want to support it. The salesgirl was awesome and helpful but not too pushy which is the ultimate salesperson in my opinion.
I own a shop in Brooklyn too and can be way too harsh and judgey since it’s what I do as a profession (sorry yall) but I can’t speak more highly of In God We Trust.

Great place for jewelry, nice people & cool designs. Only downside is they only engrave their own products.

Nice sales staff, good selection of DS & Durga perfumes. The house label clothing was a bit on the spendy side but very cute-​loved the lime green wool biker jacket. They had a neon pink Cambridge satchel on sale for $ 80 that almost came home with me. Not a huge selection but well edited.

I’ve never been a man that has worn jewelry, but as I prepared to get married last fall, it was time to wedding ring shop. I wasn’t sure where to start — the internet? — diamond district? — pawn or antique shop? It turns out the answer was in my backyard. Not just figuratively, but literally around the corner from my apartment is the Greenpoint Brooklyn branch of In God We Trust. The nicest feature about the merchandise sold at IGWT is that a great deal of it is created on-​site. When I inquired about the gold mens wedding bands in the jewelery case, the staff informed me that if I’d prefer something custom I should talk to their jeweler about possibilities. They even walked me into the backroom to show me the workstations for the jewelry and clothing designers. The idea of having my ring built by someone right in my neighborhood was intriguing. So, the next day I wrote an email about the type of ring I’d like and provided some reference photos from the internet. For the next couple weeks, I corresponded with Becca, an in-​house jewelry designer, until we had a mutual understanding of the ring I wished for. Becca made the ring on location and I settled payment in-​store. Easy. After a day or so, I decided that I needed it to slightly increase in size, and the request was done within a couple days. Again, easy! Seriously, the whole process was simple and enjoyable. Not only do I feel special to have a custom built ring, but to have it done locally was a nice feeling. If you live in Northern Brooklyn, or for that matter anywhere within the NYC area, I’d encourage you to visit the IGWT shop for jewelry, or clothes, or just to chat with the friendly staff. Quality work, at a fair price — it’s worth checking out.

Great name! Beautifully styled store. Dreamy wonderful vignettes of vintage and found objects belonging to the store’s proprietor. Heart crushingly pricey and I am not even sure what I like is for sale.

I want to buy so many things here.
Which is a problem, because they are very expensive. Fortunately, however, they have sample sales which means items like coats that normally cost $ 500 go down to $ 200. Well-​made, high-​quality pretty dresses, drapey tops, and a broad range of designer clothes abound. They also have a decent selection of accessories.
The communal unisex fitting room threw me for a loop and my prude upbringing reared it’s head as I waited for the males to leave the fitting room before I entered and started changing. It was fun changing with a bunch of ladies, however, as we got to exchange items and sizes with each other and get everyone’s opinion.

Went here after getting my haircut next door. I was the first one inside but soon after a bunch of people came in to shop. It is really laid out in a great way. very cozy. Agree with David H. about the Ralph Lauren look. but the jewelry is SUPER fun. I bought a really great necklace there at a great price. I was expecting them to be a lot pricier but they weren’t… And the salesgirl who helped me was SO adorable. It was hard to resist giving this place 5 stars!

If you haven’t been to one of these stores, I would say In God We Trust is Ralph Lauren inspired. They actually do carry Ralph Lauren there, but in case you couldn’t tell from the name all of the clothes are takes on the classic american look. I gave it 4 stars for the same reason I gave Alter 4. It’s a small collection with just alright prices.

considering one can get a little heart shaped necklace with «eat a dick» engraved on it, i think that it’s my kind of place.
