Skip the overpriced Industry City Food Court and eat here. The sandwiches are better than anything in the area, both breakfast and lunch. It gets crowded around noon.

Awful service. Never get your order correct. Who wants to give the rude Uncle Fedter look alike any business anyway

Worst place to get food. The employees are damn lazy meaning they pre-slice 4 to 5 lb worth of ham and turkey, and 3lb worth of cheeses ahead of time. The machine is cleaned before 3:30pm and they wait to go home. Because of this, the meat you’re getting is aged and rancid all around the edge and some workers are not kind enough to give you the meat in the middle. They are not serious about serving up good food. They take advantage of the fact that there are few stores and restaurants in the area. Customer service is for the most part awful because they’re all itching to go home.

Some days it’s great. Some days it’s not. With not many food options in the area, it’s not a bad destination for lunch. Food is pretty good for dinner style food. The only problem is they can NOT handle the lunch rush. They finally added another guy behind the counter but even then sometimes they get orders wrong, rare, but it happens. Lots of food options to pick from and the recent renovation is great.

This is my go to lunch establishment in the area. A complete no-nonsense affair. They have good food at a good price and will get you in and out quick(even with a long line). I usually order their greek salad or veggie hero, and it’s always solid. The only downside is that they’re cash only, but that’s completely understandable given their low prices.

This is a great place for everyday breakfast and lunch. Really great value for tasty food. I’ve tried a little of everything from their deli sandwiches to their daily set lunch menu. Never been disappointed. The place itself is very nice and clean. Pictures are a bit outdated since they they a remodeling done a few months ago and now it looks very modern. My favorite to order is the Rueben sandwich, be warned its very filling enough to give u the ITIS afterwards

My buddies there take good care of you. Their redesign looks very good. Reminds me of a real Manhattan high-end deli now. Their baked goods are all done nearby at the other business they own. They increased their salad options and I’m looking forward to them taking that even further.

$ 2.25 for 2 eggs, home fries, and toast $ 3 for 3 pancakes Seriously how are you people complaining? Their sandwiches are always acceptable(and above average for the area), and as opposed to a previous reviewer said I have never paid more than $ 6 for a sandwich.

This place is the epitomy of a 1 star establishment. There are a lack of food options in this industrial area and this place takes full advantage. I can’t tell if this is a genious business move or soulless price gouging. I’ll go with the latter. 8.25 $ gets you a turkey sandwich with cheese, that’s right, 8.25 $! I don’t want to be totally unfair, all of the food I’ve had here is a step up from most deli food but still not worth the price. The man behind the counter(I think he’s the owner) is always abrupt and pushy. He is not a pleasant person to interact with. Ridiculous prices and attitude is not a good business practice. Beware also, the prices on the board are the stripped down version of the foods, add anything and you will be charge a lot more money. Not a little bit, a lot.

For what it is, it’s great. Don’t get their pastries. They’re advertised as baked on premises and I totally believe them. I got some chocolate rolled up thingy ma bob and they put it in a bag for me. It weighed about 5 pounds and by the time I got to work, grease had soaked in the bag. It was terrible. It took two bites and felt like I had eaten… I don’t even know. Like a cross between a donut and a brick, but worse. So just lay off the pastries. The sandwiches here are great like many of these hole-in-the-wall delis. Fantastic chicken salad sandwich, and I don’t even like chicken salad. Hot food too, if you’re into that, and a small seating area. But my favorite thing about this place? Sometimes I’ve got a showing in the wee hours of the morning(9 am or so) and biking to Sunset Park from Crown Heights takes time, my friends, and as I rarely eat breakfast due to my tendency to either stay up reading too late or be out at a bar too late, by the time I bicycle into the area, I’m starving. What does this have to do with Hero Champ? $ 2.80 cheese omelette with homefries and toast, that’s what. It’s diner food. And it’s cheap. And you get your food from the deli guys, so don’t worry about tipping the waiter. $ 2.80. Jealous?
