I came in last Friday(10⁄16) before heading to an event over at the Barclays. I do love the prices, very inexpensive, but that was the only pro for me. I ordered the turkey burger with fries, the fries were ok– the turkey burger was pretty much rubber. It was really bad… the lady sitting next to me also sent her food back after just one bite(she had chicken fingers.) the service was terrible also! To be fair there was only one server for the whole room that night. When I got my food I didn’t even get any utensils or napkins, so I stood up and got it myself since it was taking and unreasonable amount of time. I sadly will not come here again. Note to the owners if they read this: You have a GREAT opportunity with this diner, it is in a prime location where it can get a lot of business. There is a lot of work to be done with the appearance, food, and service of the place. Tip: maybe use fresh meat instead of frozen? really makes a difference. =)

Just ordered breakfast from them off of seamless. I received my food in literally 14 mins my breakfast was steaming hot and fresh. Best experience I’ve had with seamless!

I came with my parents after walking around Manhattan. It is small and quaint. The waitress does a lot so there is not a lot of checking in on you. Food was decent, but it is an all or little kinda place. If you order a cheeseburger you get a cheeseburger. Order a deluxe cheeseburger you get a cheeseburger, fries, lettuce, a huge slice of pickle, and sliced tomatoes.

A quaint little diner. Portions were quite generous; I had the nutella & banana waffles which were extremely filling and huge. Staff was friendly, they take credit cards and it felt like a small, local place. Definitely a unique experience. I’d return.

Average food for average people. They are inconsistent and will charge you different prices for the same order day to day. Explore anything else and you’ll be much happier.

It was easy to reach for a quick bite during lunch. Every time we tried to order something, they ran out. I wish we knew beforehand to spare ourselves the back and forth. No crowds so waiting for food shouldn’t have taken long, but it did. I ordered the turkey burger deluxe, which came with French fries. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal which made up for the delay. You can’t beat the price either.

I stopped in to Hanson Restaurant looking for breakfast to start my work day off right, unfortunately I can’t say my wish was totally fulfilled, but I wasn’t totally dismayed. I ordered the«Breakfast Special #2» and a «Large Ice Coffee with milk and light sugar», in the small ordering area which became increasingly crowded as I waited(usually a good sign). The guy behind the counter was attentive, friendly, and prompt, so far so good. I also checked out the dining room and bathroom, which were somewhat dingly and outdated, but not disgusting especially given the context. The total was ~$ 7.50 after tax, so reasonably priced for 2 eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, and a large iced coffee, but as always you get what you pay for. After getting back to my desk, I opened my little platter to see a surprisingly large amount of food, the eggs were prepared as I had asked, ample serving of limp bacon, and a decent serving of undercooked homefries. If I were to order again, I would’ve asked for well done homefries and bacon. Oh, and the toast was solid, but obviously thats not saying much… The ~16oz «Large Iced Coffee» was quite delicious for about 2⁄3 the price of Starbucks, so for a breakfast review thats about as important the food IMO. TLDR; Food: 3⁄10: Subpar breakfast platter, good iced coffee Service: 4⁄5: Quick and friendly takeout service Experience: 2⁄5: Cramped quarters and outdated area Overall: 2.25÷5

There were only two tables occupied and like ten or twelve tables free. So i freaked out and I just left told the guy at the front throw my food away just like real mad cause of this duranged nutty woman. I mean get a life woman

Very dirty. Service was so-so. Also, the lady in charge of the tables was cray-cray. She made us sit in a tiny table in the middle of the restaurant even though it was empty. She yelled at all the customers at least once. I give it two stars because in the end she took away my trash and was kind.

Right in the neighborhood. A very good place to stop to get a low price Slice for only $ 1.69 or a whole meal like Meatloaf w/potato’s and green-beans. You can eat in or carry out. They even have delivery for those who don’t want to go out. The food is very good, but sometimes a little bland so taste it to maybe add a little salt or pepper. A basic meal is $ 6.95 plus tax. Breakfast specials are from $ 2.50 to $ 4.75 and deserts at $ 2.50. The servers are very nice. The guys are handsome, I have been stopping in periodically since I have lived in the neighborhood. It is right off the Atlantic street subway and LIRR station near Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues. If a good thick deli sandwich is what you want then they have a deli on the corner of Ft. Greene and Hanson Place. These are thick, and worth the price paid which is moderate and fair. Both are cash only and have ATM machines on site. So if you are in the neighborhood, come and enjoy.
