New owners. Food used to be good. Last few times rice was old cheap on giving mustard and yes food posioning. I was a frequent buyer of chicken and broccoli. The chicken was hard. I beleive it was raw? Frozen and cooked without n proper defrost. $ 23 dollars and threw it in the garbage. And the dumplings too

Moo Shoo was ALL cabbage. The pancakes were strange squares of dough almost impossible to open.

Very typical Chinese-American food, taste like every other Chinese-Americanized restaurants in Bay Ridge. Sweet-N-Sour-General-you-know-who the whole shebang. The only difference is they have a small variety of teriyaki plates and noodle soup. Chicken teriyaki can be hit or miss, sometimes nice and tender sometimes tastes like old bandaids. Otherwise nothing spectacular. Delivery is usually speedy tho, service is solid.

When I first started working over here I was skeptical but after seeing how fresh their chicken n broccoli was I knew I had to try their teriyaki and man this is authentic Chinese! And they are probably one of the few take out places that give you fortune cookies love this place.

How on earth could anyone have given the chicken teriyaki from here a good review! It was inedible! I had to throw it out. Incredibly greasy, overly sweet flavor… not like any teriyaki I’ve ever had… and the chicken itself was disgusting… shreds of chewy who knows what. Their dumplings, however, are delicious, and I wish I had gotten something else to go with my shrimp wonton/chicken dumpling mei fun soup. I enjoyed the soup, though the broth could have more flavor.

I live in Austin now and REALLY miss this place. Awesome prices, great and quick service, AND they have white meat chicken! Not brown! I miss you, Ha Ha.

Awesome dumplings, awesome lo mein, perfectly cooked rice. Great shrimp and broccoli. Terrible sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli. Been there 2x. Will try the teriyaki next! Not really a great place to eat, more of a take out.

I would go for three stars, but my food was just a little on the bland side. Got my standard Chinese order; fried pork dumplings, steamed broccoli, and shrimp toast. This time I got chicken teriyaki instead of my normal General Tso’s chicken. It as all cooked well, but I simply was impressed by the flavor of it all. Very meh. I’m probably not coming back. Decently priced, but I want to enjoy my meal.

This is one of my favourite places to order from. I love the food, it’s always nice and warm when they deliver it, and they deliver it quickly. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Brooklyn!

One word: Amazing. I love Ha Ha and I will keep coming back. Best part, they have chicken terriyaki which most places don’t have and it’s amazing. But I won’t be buying their boneless BBQ ribs, dry and burned. Everything else is great.

«HAHA’ No, I’m not kidding, that’s actually the name of this restaurant. lol First time I walking passed this restaurant, the photos on the windows look attractive, like the«real» Chinese food. The place is tiny, I believe only have like 3 tables, is more of the take out or order deliver kinda place First time I dined in, and ordered the noodle soup, it was delicious I also ordered over the phone, have them deliver to my apartment, usually take about 20 minutes, but their food are really good, I believe is probably the best Chinese in Bay Ridge area. What can I say, single man, order lots of Chinese take out, I gotta find me a good place. lol

Our favorite Chinese restaurant! I think we order from them at least once a week. The shrimp wonton soup is my favorite along with sweet and sour chicken dinner meal. They people are so nice, the food is cheap, and delivery is fast.

Brooklyn neighborhood takeout — not so sure about this place. While their food is good, I think I have had better. My group and I ordered their pad thai and chicken gang panang. The pad thai did not have much taste. The gang panang had a good curry flavor and the chicken had a nice zest to it but it did not leave me yearning for more. The potatoes in the gang panang were more like french fries soaked in curry rather than fresh cut potatoes and that was a real turn off. The prices are cheap and you get your money’s worth but I definitely will consider other places in the area before ordering from them.

My neighborhood has no shortage of quick take out Chinese restaurants and as a matter of fact there are three within a five minute walking distance from my apartment. Usually I will take an extended hike and go to my favorite of the areas offerings in Pearl Of China or even Chopstix but sometimes the lateness of the dining need and the proximity finds me stopping at Ha Ha. Now it does have a rather silly name, but one can agree it makes you smile. What’s important here is the cuisine. Over the last year, my adventuring into some conventions and coming home famished has found me stopping into Ha Ha because it is right here for me as I exit the subway train. I had heard good things about their chicken with broccoli and said why not give it a go. It was truly commendable and locked me into using this as my quick go to choice when I just didn’t have the steam to make any sort of trek. Also, it seemed to be the better of the three immediate vicinity ones in my humble opinion. The recent Comic Con visiting left me run down so I had hit Ha Ha a few more times and added both chicken with snow peas and chicken with mushrooms and their pan fried pork dumplings to the list of items ordered and I could find no fault in any of them. The service was quick and the counter girl very friendly. She actually also liked my jacket’s colorful buttons and asked me about a number of them. I considered this my spreading of Geekdom to someone new. Since all of my sampled dishes were tasty I say if you are in the area and just need a quick Chinese Food fix that this place does alright. Now back to sorting through over 1000 photos from Comic Con.

The food is good(try the dumplings), but they changed their name from Ha Ha to QQ, which takes away a star. Ha Ha was the best name ever for a restaurant!

They have great tasting shrimp wonton soup with udon or egg noodles. It’s fresh food that is delivered nice and hot. Their crab ragoon is delicious and filling. They also have thai dishes and terriyaki, which are all delicious. It’s one of the best chinese food in bay ridge. If I crave their soups, I would cross the Verrazzano bridge to get their soup cause no one in Staten Island makes it like them. They separate the stock and noodles in different containers, so the noodles and wontons are not saturated.

My girlfriend and I were taking a stroll over to the pier when we walked by this little place. It definitely looked better than your standard Chinese take out fare and the name stuck out(haha!). We grabbed a menu and ordered delivery when we got home. I ordered the chicken dumpling noodle soup(6 $) and my girlfriend ordered chicken teriyaki($ 5 w/soda!) When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had separated the broth to my noodle soup, that way the dumplings wouldn’t get overcooked in the transition to my apartment. It was tasty and satisfying, I was really happy with it, but the real star was the chicken teriyaki. A delightful combination of the sauce and mixed vegetables to with the succulent chicken. I was surprised to see how much food we got for such little money(something we don’t see a lot in Bay Ridge). So I’d have to say, if you’re in the area stop by, but if you live in Bay Ridge and haven’t tried it yet then … SHAMEONYOU!

I order from Ha Ha on a regular basis. They have these steamed dumplings in a hot sesame soy sauce that is very addictive. I get them as an appetizer every time I order. I also regularly rotate between 2 dishes: Sesame chicken(which they get right about 95% of the time) and Roast Pork Chow Fun(which they have yet to mess up). My girlfriend always orders their Shrimp Lo Mein which, despite putting in too much Bac Choy, ends up being really good every time we order it. I have yet to have a bad dish from Ha Ha. Definitely worth ordering from its not your regular Chinese spot.
